I couldn't resist and started watching today...
This Battle Royale... well, I do have some problems with it. Just like with the Casino Battle Royales the overall idea, here it's the everyone starting outside and have to get into the ring to "officially" enter the Match, sounds cool on paper, but that is all. In action it's just... Why would anyone even enter the Ring before, let's just say... 16-19 opponents have been eliminated? Now, it's not that I'm the total logic police, so I do can forgive it... but then you also have the fact that it is unbelievably chaotic to watch and overall quite messy (be it for the live audience, I imagine, or the viewer at home), since you don't have a real overview, which doesn't get better by the fact that you also have Managers and Stablemates near the Ring.
Admittedly, this could of course also be used for some interesting booking ideas. I'd still always prefer a Battle Royale with some sort of staggered entries.
...and I don't wanna sound too critical. I'm not even finished with it and there was a good amount of good stuff in it. I'm at the point with OC and Swerve are both down after their phenomenal sequence (after Swerve eliminated Bill).
