I don’t think it was the best AEW PPV imo. It started off good with the blackjack battle royale but then it didn’t pick back up for me until Jade came out. I think the last three matches saved the show but that’s just me

Honestly off the top of my head it might actually be their worst PPV lmao which says a lot with how much I still enjoyed it

I think while the crowd really sucked in the middle of the show, I do think ppl are skipping over the ladder match and the tag championship matches as bangers. the crowd also pretty much ruined the trios match that is usually a very highspot and crowd hyped affair. not sure what was missing in those matches really, they were good, but the crowd couldnt be bothered and it really hurt the show. in my mind, only Cole Jericho was a stinker and Jaime Hayter Toni Storm I liked but can see why ppl thought it wasnt it. everything else was good to great, but AEW as always operates on an impossible standard to hold up . I do think it wasn't a top tier show though, but it was still quite good.

DoN last year, All Out 2020 i think were worse but i need to go look back

I’m not big on Wardlow and FTR which is why I wasn’t into those matches. Christian was the highlight of the ladder match for me.

all out 2022 wasnt the best either tbh . I liked them all btw lol just looking back at old cards and i remember a lot of those matches being only ok

Weird that Full Gear and Revolution seem to the the consistent ones where DoN and All Out are considered the more marquee ones

even weirder: its the two that stay in the same arena or city that have been hit or miss

almost like a hot crowd makes a huge difference. But I digress! (stop spamming chicago and Vegas when you only have 4 papes)
