the only people I've seen bring up the too much wrestling argument are wrestling media and it seems like to me they are just a bit butthurt that they have to work Saturdays more often now lol

If ya don't wanna cover collision for your shows just don't lmao there's too much content for any one show to cover it all obviously, find your thing to specialize it and let others specialize in other things. Much healthier that way anyway

Fightful: Update on Punk & Collision​

“WBD released a statement claiming that Punk was “not affiliated with AEW Collision,” but as of today, we’re told that there are still plans with CM Punk


“We’re told that Punk himself didn’t want to be announced for the Collision brand well ahead of time, but don’t know if that played any role in the altered press release.”


“Those that we’ve spoken to had heard weeks ago that Punk was also encouraging Ace Steel to be brought into the fold for Collision as well. We haven’t confirmed whether or not he’ll be back following the series of events surrounding the Brawl Out situation.”

FWIW, I've seen a few fans say that they're completionists who want to watch everything but just can't find the time and that I do kinda understand that, but you just gotta get out of that mentality. A decade ago I could watch every televised or live streamed show on the planet but now that everything is streamed, I had to just accept that I can't do that and pick and choose

Too much wrestling is a thing sure, I just don't see how it's a AEW issue to have the exact same amount of tv time as WWE (and I am being generous not counting NXT or ROH)

edit: especially now that they cut dark and elevation. its no longer 6 days of aew/roh programming

I think that's a personal thing though, if watching it all will burn you out then you have to make the choice to not watch it all. I literally can't watch all the wrestling I'd like to rn and if I did I wouldn't be able to get any sleep. Way too many promotions are now streamed from various countries and that's a great thing whether I can watch or not

You can also just look at the non-preempted Rampage ratings and see people already don't feel the need to watch all the content. Dark and Elevation were steadily going down in youtube views too. If it's not for you, that's perfectly fine
