I forgot all about it.

I went on AEWTix.com and apparently this is what it says for Platinum tickets:

Official Platinum Seats

What are Official Platinum Seats?
Official Platinum Seats are premium tickets to concerts and other events made available by artists and event providers through Ticketmaster. They give fans fair and safe access to some of the best seats in the house.
Are Official Platinum Seats resale tickets?
No. Official Platinum Seats were not purchased initially and then posted for resale; they are being sold for the first time through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster's Official Platinum Seats program enables market-based pricing (adjusting prices according to supply and demand) for live event tickets, similar to how airline tickets and hotel rooms are sold. The goal is to give the most passionate fans fair and safe access to the best tickets, while enabling artists and other people involved in staging live events to price tickets closer to their true value.
Why can't I buy Official Platinum Seats for certain events?
Currently, Official Platinum Seats are not available for all events. Be sure to check back often as new events are continually being added.
How do I buy Official Platinum Seats?
For events where they are available, please note that Official Platinum Seats can only be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com, and they cannot be exchanged, transferred, or purchased with Ticketmaster Gift Cards.
What is the Current Price per ticket?
The price you pay is the original price of the ticket. Official Platinum Seats were not purchased initially and then posted for resale; they are being sold for the first time through Ticketmaster on behalf of the artist or event provider.
Other amounts or fees may also be included in the Current Price, or may be added on top of the Current Price. If additional amounts are added on top of the Current Price, they will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
So they're definitely not resale. AEW is just having their cake and eating it, too. No worries, though.

But, they did sell out their standard tickets. I was looking at the shows 4-6 weeks out and they're all under $90.

Now I just have to decide if paying 10 times the cost is worth it.

So overall how did you guys like this show? I read through the thread, but I won't be able to watch a replay until later this week if I get around to it. It looks pretty good, but idk how I feel about some of the booking. Granted, reading results is never a substitute for watching bc some things just translate better when you see it. Jericho as their first champion feels like a big letdown to me even though I'm a huge fan of him, idk I think it would have been better if one of the Elite like Cody or Omega won it even though that would have gotten criticism for them booking themselves to be champs early on, but I just never thought Jericho would be champ as I thought he'd just be in the gatekeeper main event role to lose to top guys when they'd want them to get to that next level.

That tag and women's division really looks awesome though, I kinda expect to enjoy both of those more than the main men's roster from what I've seen at this point.

Tbh I think a big reason Jericho didn't just go back to WWE was because WWE was expecting him to play that role for the rest of his career. Guess he felt like he was worth a little more, and he's right. I do agree that if it was up to me, I would have liked to see someone else get the honor, such as Omega or Moxley, but I can't criticize AEW because Jericho is still one of my all time favorites and easily their biggest mainstream star.

As for the show as a whole... I'd say it didn't live up to my expectations. I mean, I enjoyed it, don't get me wrong. It just wasn't as good as Double or Nothing, which is what I was expecting. I'd say it was maybe as good as the average non-big four WWE PPV though. The ladder match was truly awe inspiring. Omega and Pac has a great little battle. Spears and Cody was pretty good up until the final minutes. The 3 way had its spots. The joshi match was decent. The main event was also pretty much just decent. If I was to give it a grad off the top of my head, I'd probably say a 70-75/100.

I thought the show was decent. My favorite from them so far has been Fyter Fest.

I liked Omega/PAC, Darby/Havoc/Janela in the Cracker Barrel clash, Lucha Bros/Bucks, and the main event.

Well All Out was a long...long...PPV to get through and rarely do I fall asleep, but I had to rest up to finish the rest of the Show. Anyways let's get to my whole post and some questions I have going into AEW's TV Show coming up in a few Weeks.

Women’s Casino Royale. I feel this was totally messy at times, but I did feel it set up multiple feuds going forward. Nyla Rose was the perfect choice to win this, but I'm not gotta lie in saying some of the ladies like Ivelisse, Tenille, and Sadie didn't get more moments in this Match I wished they did. People wondered how was Tenille there at the PPV, and it's due to her having a nighty deal with Impact that is locked in till October. She didn't act like she was staying with Impact for short time, rather a longer time, but money talks and bullshit walks. I heard that Bea and Sadie got into it backstage after the Match or Show, and it stemmed apparently from Sadie's Press Slam and Bea no selling it. I noticed it during the Show and was like come on Bea, and if true you can go with that and turn a feud into it if you want. I do wonder with all the talent AEW has with the ladies and tag division if we don't see people get lost in the shuffle and leave eventually like Rae did after last night. Time will tell how AEW uses all their talent and if fat doesn't get trimmed here and there.

Private Party vs. Jack Evans/Angelico. I knew I was going to enjoy this one and I did for sure. All four guys did in their thing in there, and Evans and Angelico turning Heels love it. I had a thought that could happen after Jack kicking away the shades during the Match, but if anyone knows Jack was awesome as a Heel in Mexico and Lucha Underground so I'm all in with this turn.

SCU vs. Jurassic Express. This was a very good PPV opener, that didn’t get too crazy but allowed everyone to shine and everything they did was over big. SCU in the role of vets that can work with everyone and are so over play extremely well in the opener. Jurassic Express is a great act with tons of merchandising possibilities.

Kenny Omega vs. Pac. This was where I started to fall to sleep and need a nap, but this was great overall, with a good layout and a string homestretch with the surprising winner in the best way possible I loved the finish. The Omega redemption arc begins.

The Cracker Barrel Clash. Okay Question: Will this Hardcore style be a thing weekly for AEW? All three guys nearly killed each other for our enjoyment and I wonder if this style will be loved and not be overdone going forward. I thought Darby Allin deserved this win more than others after the punishment he took in this one. The spot through the Table and The Cracker Barrel spot were crazy. Fun Match no doubt, but I wonder if this will be a thing going forward week to week, because I don't want to see these guys every week needing help to the back like that all the time.

Best Friends vs Dark Order. This was good and had a nice lay out but the crowd wasn’t into it as he Dark Order continues to under whelm crowds. They are a great team, but the gimmick isn’t connecting at all. The finish also came off flat for sure.

I never heard of Orange Cassidy in Wrestling and how you not become a fan of his, when the guy has both hands in his Pockets and dives to the outside.

Hikaru Shida vs. Riho. It took some time to get there, but I thought as the Match went on the Match got better, and the fans started to respond to the Action going on in the Ring. I'm not gonna lie in saying Shida vs Rose might be in the vein of Kong/Shida, but you can't go wrong with Riho winning this. Optically, the size difference played well, easily positioning Riho in a babyface role and allowing Shida to work as a heel without being heavy handed about it. This was really good and had a great pace and back and forth action.

Shawn Spears vs. Cody. I'm kinda in the middle with this one to be honest. I liked the antics with MJF, Tully, and Arn during the Match and I felt Cody brought it hard here, but Spears didn't at all. I said last night about Banks he had been hyped hard and the moment he had going for him he needed to respond, and Spears I feel was in a similar role here and dropped the ball I feel. I do like the MJF tease at the end, and people wondered why was he rolling with them duh it was to have a big feud down the line to where Cody might put over MJF who knows.

Escalera de la Muerte. this was an absolutely excellent and crazy ladder match, it was everything I wanted and more. It had great pacing great spots, and had a great ending and most importantly, didn’t overstay it’s welcome. This was exactly what I wanted, what it needed to be, and it absolutely delivered. Now it’s important to keep the Bucks & Luchas away from each other for a while.

I loved the Boricuas appearance with Ortiz and Santana. I knew it was them after the Street Sweeper Move from the top and just like the Women's Division, the Tag Team Division is stacked and not everyone is going get shine and people are going to be pissed eventually. Still Ortiz and Santana can go and they'll do fine with The Bucks or Lucha Bros as we know the history between those two teams so safe to safe things are cooking just fine in the Tag Team Kitchen.

Chris Jericho vs Hangman Page. I had some concerns coming into this, Page wasn’t built well and Jericho’s last few big matches have lacked a bit. I think it went a bit too long and with it being so late into the show, the crowd felt fatigued. The layout was good, but some of the work felt a bit meandering and Page unfortunately didn’t feel ready for the spot. It was good but far from great. But as the first champion, Jericho was the safe and right call.

That's what it says, but isn't much relevant to this weird rant he made about WWE and AEW.

That said, maybe he really just wants AEW to hire him. LU did create some buzz 5 years ago. :side:

Also worked for TNA......also producing Big Brother currently.....a show that has better ratings than rasslin.....just saying.

Not everyone is a shill or just wants jobs when they critique something.

His tweets weren't normal critique. They were clearly deluded. Who tweets about WWE not being afraid of WWE and WWE laughing at AEW? That's not critique. And then he ends his tweet rant about not being a WWE defender? The point that went over your head is he literally worked for WWE creative for 6 years so there's a clear bias that he himself recognized and tried to distance himself from.

You check out the replies.....it's basically this.

LOL being loyal because you once worked there.....I guess you need to go on podcasts and shit on them to be considered an non shill.
