On Saturday, August 31, 2019, the stars of All Elite Wrestling will be descending upon Chicago, Illinois, to compete live on pay-per-view from the sold-out Sears Centre Arena for ALL OUT. (Visit AEWonBRLIVE.com for ordering details).

The BUY-IN pre-show promises to be a banger with up-and-coming tag team sensation Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) squaring up with the free-styling, high risk duo of Angelico and Jack Evans. With the tag team division heating up, both teams know all eyes are on them and will stop short of nothing to prove they deserve the velvet rope VIP treatment saved for the victors.

As announced by the Chief Brand Office, Brandi Rhodes, the BUY-IN will also feature the Women’s Casino Battle Royale, with the winner receiving a guaranteed shot to compete in a match for AEW’s inaugural women’s championship. Expect some surprise entrants, but confirmed participants in this 21-person battle royale include Dr. Britt Baker (cleared in time for the match after suffering a concussion last month), Jazz, Teal Piper (the daughter of the legendary Roddy Piper), Ivelisse, Allie, Big Swole, Sadie Gibbs, Aerial Monroe, Nyla Rose, Yuka Sakazaki, and Brandi Rhodes herself. AEW’s female roster continues to grow and impress, and with a vacant women’s championship title looming large on the horizon, this match is sure to shine a spotlight on what makes AEW’s women’s division so special.

The pay-per-view portion of ALL OUT is a stacked card that promises to make AEW history. This is the perfect entry point for curious, new fans. By night’s end, the first ever AEW World Champion will be crowned! Paving the way to the main event will be a spectacular showcase of various pro wrestling styles and next level athletes determined to seal their fate and make their mark on the pro wrestling landscape.

In the “Cracker Barrel Clash” (sponsored by Cracker Barrel Old Country Store), three of of 2019’s most buzz worthy (and some may argue most controversial) competitors, Joey Janela and Jimmy Havoc and Darby Allin will take things to extreme levels to come out on top. Backstage at FIGHT FOR THE FALLEN, following an unsuccessful team-up earlier in the night, Janela, Havoc, and Allin were involved in a pull-apart by security. At ALL OUT, the three men will be able to settle their differences in the ring. Expect a buffet of brutality!

SoCal will be represented in Chi-Town when SCU (SoCal Uncensored—Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky) compete in a six-man tag team match against a rather unorthodox yet oddly perfect trio of Luchasaurus (He’s got a master’s degree!), Jungle Boy, and Marko Stunt.

At FYTER FEST back in June, fans were treated to Nyla Rose vs. Yuka Sakazaki vs. Riho, with Riho narrowly winning the match by a roll through on Nyla Rose. At ALL OUT, Riho will try to build on her momentum as she goes one-on-one with Hikaru Shida in a singles bout that many joshi enthusiasts have been clamoring for. Previously the two wrestlers were partners, having won a six-woman tag match at DOUBLE OR NOTHING. On August 31, only one of them will leave the Sears Centre Arena with a win.

At DOUBLE OR NOTHING, Best Friends, the quirky, fan favorite team of Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta, were attacked by the Dark Order and the Order’s masked minions. At ALL OUT, Best Friends are looking for redemption against the team they’ve described as “The Spooky Perverts.” There’s more on the line though, as the winning team gets a bye in AEW’s upcoming tag team championship tournament. The Dark Order may thrive on mystery, but they’re no strangers to tagging with one another, and one would have to think they’ve got more than a few tricks in their arsenal that the Best Friends have yet to experience.

The most personal bout of the night is hands-down Cody fighting Shawn Spears. And yes, when it’s this personal, expect this one to boil down to being a “slobberknocker,” as AEW commentator Jim Ross might say. Early in his career, Cody considered Shawn Spears to be a mentor. Over the course of time, people can change, and with that personal and professional growth, it can occasionally breed contempt and bitterness. Cody, an EVP of AEW, has enjoyed great success over the past few years as he set out and charted his own course. Spears may have taken inspiration from that, and set his sights on joining AEW. Cody described Spears as “a good hand”—and Spears took that as a backhanded compliment. At FYTER FEST, after Cody wrestled Darby Allin to a time limit draw, Spears seized the opportunity and assaulted Cody with a steel chair to the head. The chairshot resulted in 12 staples for Cody, courtesy of his one-time “mentor.” At ALL OUT, Shawn Spears, with advisor and legendary pro wrestler Tully Blanchard in his corner, will try to teach Cody one final lesson. Cody is allowed to have an advisor in his corner too, but he hasn’t revealed which member of the Nightmare Family is joining him at ringside. Perhaps the cunning Cody has already learned about the element of surprise from Spears’ playbook. Either way, this may be the most vicious and physical game of chess ever to play out in a pro wrestling ring.

In 2019, two tag teams have chased each other all over the globe for the bragging rights of being called the greatest. They’ve pushed each other to the outer limits of what is humanly possible: the Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) and the Lucha Bros (Fenix and Penta El Zero M). Both teams have a blood bond since they consist of brothers. This blistering hot rivalry has made this feud one for the history books, and the stakes are about to get a whole lot hotter in what is being billed as “Escalera De La Muerte,” where the current AAA World Tag Team Champions, the Lucha Bros, will put their gold on the line in a ladder match against the Bucks. As smooth and crisp and innovative as these teams are, the ladder stipulation could very likely redefine the high-flying risks that both teams are infamous for. All bets are off!

Kenny Omega was recently thrown a major league curveball. He’d been gearing up for months for a match against Jon Moxley, who due to doctor’s orders, was forced off ALL OUT to deal with a MRSA infection. In less than an hour, Moxley’s replacement was named: PAC. And without batting an eye, Omega accepted and at ALL OUT, it’s game on between Omega and PAC. But with fewer than 10 days to study footage and recalculate his strategy, Kenny Omega will be wrestling the man known as “the Bastard,” for the first time ever. PAC is looking to turn heads in the Windy City, and beating Kenny Omega would certainly be the highest profile victory of his career. The winner of PAC vs. Omega at ALL OUT would surely shoot them to the front of the line for a match with the AEW World Champion.

And in our main event, Hangman Adam Page and Chris Jericho will each look to make history as the first wrestler to hold the AEW World Championship. If Page wins, the young yet gifted wrestler will become the face of the hottest wrestling promotion in the world. If Jericho wins, the salty veteran, known for constantly reinventing himself, will make a strong case as to why he is the self-proclaimed greatest of all time. Jericho sees himself as the franchise and foundation that AEW is building itself upon and he demands a thank you for opening up doors for the startup company. Drunk on power and delirious, Jericho perceives Hangman Page as just a baby-faced speed bump in his way to world domination. At FIGHT FOR THE FALLEN, Page was attacked by Jericho, a stiff kick to the head busting open Page. That shot to the forehead may have stirred up something inside Page, and now Page is ready to do, in his own words, some “cowboy shit” to become the inaugural AEW World Champion. This is far from Jericho’s first rodeo, but when he walks down that aisle on August 31, his “Judas Effect” spinning back elbow finisher may fall short of bringing down the Hangman, who is fixing to be judge, jury, executioner, and AEW World Champion.

Moxley is out with an injury so PAC is in. I’m bummed because I was really looking forward to that match but PAC is a decent replacement imo and the match should be good.

Hopefully Mox has a speedy recovery.
Am I the only one who's even more pumped for this because Pac replaced Mox?

I was meh on Ambrose and Omega, but my body is ready for Pac and Omega to kill this shit.

This is honestly not too shabby a card.

What a boost for his career if Page gets put over by Jericho tonight.

Moxley has been on fire since leaving WWE so nah, I'm not more excited for Omega/Pac but I'm certainly not upset with it either. This means they can save Mox/Omega for the TNT debut and have a ready made main event that was already hot but now they can escalate it even further. Kenny's promo where he found out about Mox's injury was great.

Anyways yeah, all of the big matches on this card look like money. Rhodes/Spears could be great if they go the story telling approach, similar to the brother vs. brother match from Double or Nothing. Lucha Bros/Bucks will be a brutal spot fest and I'm certain they're going to pull out some shit we've never seen in a ladder match before. PAC/Omega is a battle of two of the finest in ring performers alive. Jericho/Page will intriguing if nothing else. Page hasn't quite reached his peak yet but he can go. Jericho is on decline physically but he's still one of the best psychologists in the business and makes everything he does compelling. Then you have to know they've got some surprises up their sleeve, and who knows what those may be.

I've ordered the PPV and I can't wait to see what goes down.

Ambrose has a long way to go to get me to care about him again. I also don't currently watch anything he's in other than AEW.

That said, Neville was a monster last time he was in WWE and I look forward to seeing him tear it down with Omega.

The card looks to be pretty decently stacked.

I think they need to hit this one out of the park to get people ready to pick AEW over NXT come October.

Well I strongly recommend you to check out his matches with Juice Robinson and Tomohiro Ishii. There's really no explanation needed for those matches, they're just plain awesome. I don't think Moxley has ever been better at any point in his career.

But PAC is still very dope, don't get me wrong.

Yet to figure out what the appeal of the Librarian gimmick is. This new flock of ladies has many potential winners in it. Britt Baker has to be a favorite.
