Also, mox's character was just his CZW one he had for years, but...that was CZW so who cares

Yeah Mox should have won. Look how Punk behaved post title win
Was just a shitty story told pretty shoddily lol. The dynamite match shouldn’t have happened, regardless of who was winning at all out

That’s clearly a lie, he lost his title defence to mox

do you accept that as a terrible booking decision yet btw? :p
title UNIFICATION , at least be technically correct :p. Mox lost his title defence to Punk. no the other way around :)

Also Mox as a character is a million miles above his WWE run and it ain't even close. I don't think anyone has that big of a contrast anywhere

I’m not seeing it. I wish I did.

Also what Jeff said. Punk never got a defence. Unification and defence are different. It got them a million rating both week and massive spikes in their segments. I do think it would have worked better over several weeks because i wasn't into Punk as an underdog and if you do it that short I prefer Punk to turn heel but the match was still good. 3rd best of the night

Yeah but how do you think it harmed the performance of all out? Obviously it popped a rating, the hype for the match was insane. Maybe one of the most hyped matches in AEW history. It should have been saved for the PPV. Their version just destroyed the momentum of the feud imo. I was originally planning to buy all out but I didn’t care about it when it happened. I know that’s just a personal anecdote but I’m a casual and probably not the only one that felt that way. Which is what I was trying to explain to gambit at the time when he was defending it as awesome lol

It was just a ratings ploy to get Punk babyface sympathy and a second reign and hindsight makes it look like a worse decision by the minute:lmao

This is why I wanted Punk to retain at a big show first, but that’s off the table now.

I stand by interim at Grand Slam, unification at Full Gear, 5 plus reign to Revolution.

Cool and I can find it awesome whilst you hate it :draper2 . I don't really give a single fuck about casuals like they don't care about hardcores

Actually it’s not having it on dynamite that I really think was the mistake tbh. If they had the match on dynamite for real and then moved onto something else for the PPV then fine. But what happened was shite

I’m sure it does matter because the island is basically just me dizzy and Poyser but I just don’t care for whatever he’s going for with his character whether be the dean Ambrose version or the Jon Moxley version.
I’m not really a fan either. I was really excited when he first came in because I wanted to see what he do outside WWE, and overtime I became uninterested

Also I think the sales will be good PPV wise, Forbidden Door was seen as a weak card and I had people predicting 35k buys but it did over 100k. I doubt All out beats last year but it probs beats most of the others

Yeah at the time I thought they wouldn't do something like that just to have a generic babyface Punk win in Chicago so I was like "Tony def got some 4D chess happening soon"

Welp :lol Gave Punk the babyface moment then he turns himself heel at the presser anyway
