ACW vs PWA

Ok, PWA has made their intentions known.

This is the place where we hash out the particulars.

A. Claressa wants to rebuild PWA, but is hampered by being blackballed by Eric Bischoff.
Bischoff was a big character in PWA for a while.
He crashed PWA and put out a bad word to all major wrestling organizations concerning PWA talent and staff.


B. ACW is gaining in the iPPV numbers and getting attention from sponsors
Maybe a TV deal is in the works. Reporters from respectable Wrestling publications are showing up and giving rave reviews.
The internet is abuzz about the Indy hit!
Maybe a TV PPV deal or a bigger PPV at an actual Arena.
Claressa is good at getting these kind of deals.


C. OK, how does Claressa think she can get control of ACW?
FORCE?
co-opting the talent?
influencing the sponsors and TV/Internet people with the PWA name and prestige?

They were a huge indie, then WWE bought them, and made them one of their brands.

That's what should happen here, too.

ACW is not going to be bought out by Claressa or anything like that.

Phoenix has had more than enough experience in the minor feds and the mega feds to know how to run things... pretty much she isn't going to give up control cause she sees the success that is coming from it and because of that she knows what it would take to get those sponsors, get those deals, and get everything rolling to break from the little community centers to the bigger venues.

Pretty much the only way Phoenix would allow anything is if they were to work together but she isn't going to let anybody buy her out or take her show from her.

We like ECW, only better funding so we aren't being bought out.

heh I think the end result is that there should definitely be a match but everyone will eventually merge under the ACW banner. But also due to the much larger roster and the such we will be in bigger venues and the such.

Ok, I ask this for storyline.

What threat really is Claressa?

That's what I'm trying to figure out too cause right now the way she is being portrayed is just a pretty face with money that can get advertisers and promotions. Other than that she doesn't have much. I mean she could potentially buy some muscle or something.

But I am thinking with the expansion of how things are... we may think about expanding into two shows down the road. Phoenix heading one, Claressa heading the other... but Phoenix is like the "overall head" and we ca have the shows feud at different pay per views

hadn't thought of that, actually. Got the roster for it, for sure.

Claressa can use the PWA name as clout, because they were traveling the world and getting a lot of attention and revenue before they folded.
This brings in advertisers and maybe a split and a war...hmmm

Also I think the only thing Claressa has to bring to the table is the PWA name/brand. Bronko and more like him bring ratings and numbers whether Phoenix likes it or not. Now, she's willing to do without them, for sure. But that seems to be the only thing Ressa has; the PWA brand and the $ it brings to the ACW.

Oh and.... JMac gets put on the next card... we're working him back in this thing. we got a plan

And shoot we can give fodder for her but we'll also scorch her. Ressa is nothing. And ratings... this guy that is coming brings the ratings.

Ok, if Claressa isn't threatening enough...lol...I can fix that. Her sway over the roster may be her strength. I've already had a spattering of guys wanting to look into a deal. Brandon Banks in particular.
