He's hard as hell with Kang too, but he's easier than the final battle, which makes sense since it is the final battle. Plus Kang's projectiles are more effective. Especially the low fire ball. The low fire ball is perfect because if you spam it excessively, not only does it work, but when he goes for the javelin throw, he'll either get cut off before he throws it, or it misses your head.

And yeah, Goro and Kintaro are nothing compared to Kahn. Goro was a little overwhelming though at first. Once you get his pattern down he can be taken down fairly easy. He spams the fuck out of that spinning clothesline.

With Kang, I waited for him to brag, and then I hit him with a punch, kick, kick, high fire combo. I added some more as it went on and used the x-ray in the second round to win.

Try Kitana versus him in the ladder when you get a chance and use the triangle fan attacks. You can mix in some throwing of the fans but just try and you will be shocked by how well she stands up to him.

I wouldn't be that surprised, Kitana is one of the easiest characters to play as, along with Scorpion and Stryker.

You want to toy around with Kahn, though, use Smoke. No matter what Kahn throws at you, you can just use the disappearing trick to go right through him and nail him with a combo afterwards.

Not big on Stryker, but I love using Sonya and Jade as well. Jade was easily the best match I had for max Kratos. Sonya just fucks any shit up that gets in her path if you know how to control her body

 

[Kingslayer]

I don't really like Stryker as a character because this is a supernatural world and he's really the most ordinary person in it, but his specials are immensely effective. The gun pretty much stops anything, as does the low grenade. The baton strike to the legs is also extremely effective and the roll is pretty easy to pull off, so all in all, he's got a VERY competent skillset.

Speaking of Kratos, as much as I play with him, he's got to be the most difficult character to use of the characters that I mainly use. I'm not happy with the way he plays, he moves like he's 400 pounds.

I guess they didn't think it would be fair for him to have the speed of the other characters.

I feel, how you feel about Stryker, about Cage when it comes to him being simple and effective.

I also hate Cyber Subzero

Should know that i've already defeated the Ladder thing once and currently half way through story mode on MK right now, I stayed up til 6am playing it :

Everyone keeps saying that Khan is hard to beat. I defeated him on my 2nd try last night, I discovered a move by Noob Saibot that keeps Khan away from you and he can't do his charging shoulder or hit you with his hammer.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
