I've been better, but I'm glad the week is over. Just gets me closer to getting off these damn crutches.

I've heard of Pope Alexander VI, but I didn't know they made a series about it.

Why are you on crutches?

There's been more than one series made about them, he's a fascinating character as are the rest of his family. Assassins Creed 2 and Assassins Creed: Brotherhood also revolve around him and his family, although those games take the fictionization to a whole new level. Terrible people, but the worst people make the best stories. The Tudors, the series that preceded it on Showtime about the reign of Henry VIII of England was fascinating as well for much the same reason.

Took a nasty fall ages ago, landed hard on my left knee and it never really healed. Been very swollen so I haven't been able to walk on it for a couple of weeks now. Had tests and X-Rays and was in hospital Wednesday getting more tests done. But hopefully if I can walk ok on it by Wednesday I can get off the crutches.

Ah ok, I had no idea so much had already been done based on that history. You're right though, it's easier and a lot more interesting to do a story based on a person people loathe.

Oh yeah, there's tons of stuff on him. He and his family are notorious. Like I said, this family was the inspiration used to create The Godfather.

Should know I just finished watching that pilot I was watching earlier. Holy shit, fucking awesome. This show's gonna be off the hook.

This is maybe the most impressive pilot I've ever seen, or at least certainly one of them. I was hooked right from the get go. I've been following the series's development since the first announcement.

I played the MK Demo as well and it looks amazing. The fact that Kratos is in the game makes it even more awesome. I'll definately be buying it

WOW. The special moves are awesome, all his GOW III powers seem to be there. The Blade of Olympus showing up is awesome, and the fact that he uses the cestus for his x-ray hit is epic. The God of War III arena where he fights Zeus just tops it off.
