No, he's not. Lita is regarded as the most popular WWE diva of all time and one of the pioneers of the women's division. Even Big Show says she received Austin like ovations. No other female connected to the crowd like Lita did. If she didn't get injured, she would have feuded with Jazz.

I like Trish but she is not as good in the ring as Molly, Victoria and Jazz. Due to Lita's injury, she became the face of the division and had to improve in many ways.

Just because Lita wasn't the best on the mic doesn't mean she isn't as good as we say she is. Bret Hart wasn't the best on the mic either but he's still one of the greatest ever.

Mind you, there weren't many women thay had excelllent promo skills anyway. Molly was fine at pronos but not particularly special. And so what? She is an amazing wrestler.

Re: A tribue to the greatest women's champion of all time

No where near the greatest, her matches were mostly sloppy and her promos pretty bland. I agree about her impact on women's wrestling mostly because of how the character became an idol for teenage girls, showing how girls could be inderpendent and stand up to men as well as being sexy. But I still give WWF more credit for her sucess than Lita herself.

Aja Kong, Moonah, Kai, Victoria, Trish, Molly Holly, Awesome Kong for examples all better.

How was Trish better? blonde and big fake tits? She was terrible on the mic and she improved yes, but she went from being shit to just being decent. Lita, Molly, Jazz, Victoria, etc. all the female wrestlers were still better in ring than Trish at her peak, she was just the best model.

No her heel character of 2004 was one of the best of recent years, and she had some of the best promos in the promotion that year.

Where the fuck were all of you when we voted for greatest women wrestler? People vot4ed, and voted Trish....Democracy spoke and said Trish was better.

Can't argue against the masses, because you can't be more vocal than the masses.

Lita was an innovator, but let's be honest, she didn't draw more than the HOFer Trish and she didn't bring the golden age of divas. She was injured during that time and injured for most of her in-ring career.

So, yeah, I was a big Lita fan, but I'm not a dillusional one. Also still think Megumi Kudo was the greatest womens wrestler of all time.

Manami Toyota and her were both eliminated way too soon in the tournament.

Could tell most of the people who voted in that tournamen think nothing happened before 2000.

Some people need to learn that shit happened before they were born.

But... but there is no way that the world could have existed before I was born. That would mean... the world doesn't revolve around me and my thoughts.

Lita and Trish headlined an episode of RAW by working the main event match of the night. Huge honor that shows that there was some serious respect and trust in what both women were doing. I don't see a problem with someone seeing Lita as one of the greatest. Trish gets my respect too. For all the weaknesses one might try to pick out on her, or anyone, Trish was a central figure that the WWE found they could build their women's program around. Nobody ever carries a show, and part of what made it work was having some very skilled women workers, Finley as their road agent and the WWE's willingness to run with what started out as a rib.

Since people are mentioning the fact that women's wrestling existed before 2000, I loved some of the matches that the Jumping Bomb Angels brought to the WWF back in the day.

So we should change our opinions based on a poll? Okay....

Trish isn't the greatest female wrestler of all time and neither is Lita but I'm entitled to like her the most.

Fuck, this is like the fourth time this week someone has brought up "I'm entitled to my opinion" Yes you are entitled to your opinion, so am I, and just because I disagree with you doesn't mean you can act like a stubborn child with your fingers in your ears. I gave you facts, but I guess opinions are better than facts. Fuck facts! I have a right to my opinion.

We voted, the people of this site spoke. Did I like it? No, but I'm not all fuck this place because I didn't get my way.

You're going to keep seeing it as long as you keep up with the whole if the majority opinion is this then you can't argue against it. No discussions would ever be made that way. If it is disputable like who the greatest woman wrestler is of all time then it that isn't a fact. All the poll settled was what the opinion of who the greatest woman wrestler was on this wrestling forum from those who decided to vote.

I gave facts, opinions are not facts, it's just that simple. The sky is blue, not purple. But someone can give their two cents about it being purple...It's still wrong.

Let's see....There was a whole tournament on this very site to determine the greatest womens wrestler of all time....FACT.

Lita didn't win it....FACT.

Lita's in-ring career wasn't very long and was injured during the golden era of the Divas division....FACT.

She's not in the WWE HOF like Trish Stratus....FACT.

She didn't win Diva of the decade because Trish did.....FACT.

And it still doesn't mean it is a fact that Trish is greater than Lita is all I'm saying. I'm someone who thinks Trish is greater than Lita but would never claim it was a fact.

And again all I did was state facts about why people heralded Trish alot more than Lita, hell my first post here said I liked Lita more than Trish, I also said I thought Megumi Kudo was the greatest womens wrestler, but it didn't matter because people voted...so my opinion was moot. Just keep pointing out how I don't think my opinion should be considered fact and I can't argue against the masses as that is akin to kicking water up hill. They are right, and I disagree. That is that.

It's like looking at ratings and seeing what draws and what doesn't. Am I going to say that it is wrong that John Cena draws more than CM Punk? No. Why would I? The market spoke. Just like I am not going to lie to myself and say that Trish was a bigger draw than Lita....A bigger draw has nothing to do with skills btw.

Wish people would just get that through their heads.
