A Good Day to Die Hard: Mafia with a Vengeance [Game Thread]

Dreams are Endless
I'm not really seeing where TFW doesn't seem confident by the way. He came in and started to question people, and look for things, and tried to get reads right off the bat, he really seemed to have confidence in what he was saying, at least that's how I am reading it. This is my first game with them, anyone care to give me some examples of pass game play?

It's the way he always qualifies his thoughts with "but I might be wrong" or something of the sort. It's normally not a great look but as CP said, it kinda does fit TFW. I've sussed him for being noncommittal in the past when he was town I'm pretty sure but I've found once the game goes on he makes himself look more town with how genuine he seems to be trying to solve the game after stuff happens even if he second guesses himself quite a bit

Thank you. I can’t say much about that, as I done that myself. My confidence sometimes in things isn’t exactly great :lol So I can totally understand TFW being nervous about wanting to commit to someone.

So the thing to look for is if he stops overcorrecting himself eventually. Good to know

This isn't what I said but okay lol I don't think he ever stops second guessing himself, I mostly just see if his game solving feels genuine or not despite the second guessing. I can't really remember a scum game from him either tbf, just more thinking about times I've incorrectly thought he seemed suspicious when he was actually town

Vote: Jeff

He's got about two pages of content and absolutely nothing to read him town on which isn't usually a good sign as it is often something that becomes obvious pretty fast.
Not a fan of this. What Haza says here isn't strictly false but the first 10 pages were all fluff so singling out Jeff for not doing anything seems nonsensical and a bit fake.

I like Haza's vote, but personally not confident in my ability reading Jeff to vote that way yet. Especially with not everyone posted yet. I'm always unsure on his alignment early on, I just didn't feel that town bite I like to see from Jeff. Felt like he was letting others push the direction.
Ye TFW town, he's put out a post earlier that would make sense of why he's sus of Jeff, and Haza has since voted Jeff, so I think TFW hesitating to vote Jeff here despite having plenty of reason to looks very non-scummy.

But you've liked tfws point which was also a bit part of my suspicion. Saying I'm singling him of a group of players that haven't done that same thing is nonsensical in itself , especially if you also agree that Jeff hasn't looked his town self which is what I'm assuming you're labeling as not strictly false?

We was fluff posting earlier when these two posts were made one after the other

I do plan on visiting NZ/Australia if/when covid fucks off so I'll hold you to that
I do love me some KFC, none on the isle of man tho sadly. Ditto five guys for whoever mentioned that. five guys is LEGIT

They both started a sentence with 'I do' and who starts a sentence like that, doesn't feel right. So I started suspecting Hans Gruber and Poyser to be scummates.

When you think you got a scum pair the immediate thing to do is test the connection

as a person, yes!

as a fellow competitor? null so far. still pretty much in the fluff phases atm and I'm not taking his Barry vote as anything other than the usual starting pleasantries

I have him pretty null tbh. I get what you were saying about him not trying to push the game forward early on but I’m also of the opinion there was legit nothing to work with at the time lol. No red flags for me yet, at least
Very similar answers, connection

:krillin2 obviously. why you gotta ruin perfectly terrible jokes.

Poyser following was interesting and am/was looking forward to how Lethal (or others) would potentially react.
Both vote Lethal, connection
