I don't care if they add a gay wrestler, It just would take more Focus away from what little the Diva's have.

How do you figure that?

The only way I can think of is if we start getting all male love angles, which takes away the one story women can apparently be a part of currently in the WWE. Aside from that I'm at a lost of how a male wrestler can take focus off of the divas, unless him being gay made him want the divas title.

Well, it's a very controversial issue. It would shift alot of the attention towards the male wrestlers. Even more at this point the Diva's division doesn't really need this.

I actually didn't consider having an actual male love angle (especially with another one of the wrestlers.) Possible, but even if it happened, I wouldn't want it to happen all the time. It wouldn't/shouldn't take any real focus away from the divas.

I would love it if that were to happen. Maybe in time it will. If they've heavily touched upon the topic of racism, I'm sure homosexuality/homophobia isn't that far of a stretch... maybe. Racism does have a wider comedic aspect, whereas homophobia is a bit more sensitive. Who knows. Again, I would love the concept/idea. It's really edgy and controversial.

They should do it as it would raise awareness. I remember when John OShea came out at Utd and the media were all over it in a mainly negative way. Fortunately his team and a lot of fans supported it and werent the complete homophobes that many expected.

Think it could help highlight the situation in America and hopefully open people up more.

I don't have a problem with the gay character thing, but I can see how the parents might step up and write mail to WWE telling them to take this character off of television, because it gives children some bad ideas. But me myself, I don't really care.

How dare you sir! Rick Rude is the manliest man who ever graced a wrestling ring!

Agreed. But don't forget, WWE tends to work with Blue people, and mainly listen to Blue people.
