Phins in talks with the Eagles about Wallace for Evan Mathis & a 3rd or 4th Rounder from what I just heard on the radio..
Percy deal not done in Buffalo.. seems the 9ers have joined the party.
Raiders sign CB James Dockery.. someone who hasn't started a game since 2012 and offers very little except for VERY cheap depth at the CB position and maybe a little on the Special Teams side..

I want to keep Wallace but if we can get Mathis our OL would be set, we'd get our 3rd rounder back, and it would, hopefully, clear out enough space to re-sign Clay. I would be all for that.

who gives a shit about backup QBs. the bigger story is Wedgie continuing to waste the early stages of free agency on shit that can be handled way later.
I do find it funny that we sign Ponder to be the backup... considering Carr's rookie season compares most favorably with Ponder more than any other recent QB

Look at how eerily similar they are in their first full season as starter:
Carr: 21 TD/12 INT, 3200 yards, 58% completion. 5.5 yards per attempt and 9.3 yards per completion. 76 rating
Ponder: 18 TD/12 INT, 2900 yards, 62% completion. 6.1 yards per attempt and 9.8 yards per completion. 81 rating

I care about back-ups! tis the one reason we were able to hang in there after Foles went down IMO.. if Barkley was in there I bet we'd lose all except 1.
Had no idea that tool existed.. that'll be a useful one.
Ugh I was fan of Ponder until the Vikings decided to inflate his value by taking him 40 picks too early IMO.
