When I feel down on my luck as a Raiders fan, I just think, hey, I'm not a Browns fan.

Browns accidentally reveal their FA board during a presser:

no words

The only thing more embarassing than revealing your FA plans is revealing FA plans that have Rex Grossman in them.

Roseman needs to make a move before there's only trash left on the field :(

1 Decent Safety in Malcolm Jenkins
1 Special Teams Standout; Not very good Safety in Maragos (Ex-SEA)
1 Alledged ST Standout; Not very good OLB Braman (Ex-HOU) who I've seen some stuff on and he was okay but idk, I know we have Special Teams issues but this isn't what Roseman should've done the first two days.

Saffold signs a 5 year deal with STL now... they don't care about his hurt shoulder apparently. hmm.

Herman and Fox said there was a strong disagreement on Saffold's physical condition. The Raiders had concerns about his shoulder; the Rams had "no concerns whatsoever" about his shoulder.

Herman and Fox contacted their doctors, Dr. Frank Cordasco at the Hospital For Special Surgery in New York, who studied Saffold's MRIs. His review indicated nothing was wrong with Saffold's shoulder.

Sounds like Reggie shit the bed after we lost Veldheer, overpaid for Saffold, and used this as an out.

We will see. Veldheer is far from an elite LT. He was the best player by a mile on a terrible O Line, but beyond that we will find out what he is made of. He was never really terribly consistent, and has problems with speed rushers. Have fun with Seattle twice a year.

oh god, stay tuned to this soap opera

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5856/rodger-saffold

NFL.com's Mike Silver reports it was Raiders owner Mark Davis who nixed the Rodger Saffold deal.
Davis apparently had concerns about the shoulder Saffold injured last preseason. Per Silver, Saffold "could have had surgery and been ready for training camp," but Davis wouldn't have it. It's a troubling development for many reasons. It shows a lack of faith in GM Reggie McKenzie, and is an indication that, despite his protestations to the contrary, Davis has some of his father's management style to him. Davis has left egg on his GM's face, and his offensive line without a left tackle. It's a sad state of affairs in Oakland.
