Ouch. Lance Stephenson bolts. Roy Hibbert is disappears randomly and now this.
The balance of the Eastern Conference shifts daily.
Rose looks good lately, though.

better than a knee injury. Leg breaks look gross but bones are easy to heal. He will be back after next season

Why not both? It's just as advantageous to be able to slash to the rim and dunk as it is to stroke J's. The Elites do both. I take it you prefer 3 point shooters doe if you had to choose between the two. Ight word.

Yeah, I'm a Larry Bird guy. And, no, it isn't as advantageous to slash because that takes more energy. The NBA has 3-point specialists not dunking specialists.
The Elites can do both, but nearly everybody in the NBA can dunk. Dunking is a dime a dozen, really.
Harold Miner was a fantastic dunker as was Robert Pack. Where are they now?

Cats like Ray Allen and Carmelo Anthony could play years and years. Slashing can earn you twisted ankles and shot knees like Dwyane Wade

Being able to dunk and slashing is two completely different things. You're the first person in the history of people I've talked to that says Slashing to the rim is not advantageous

You haven't talked to enough people. Of course, you said in your original post and I quote 'just as advantageous to be able to slash to the rim and dunk' so my argument centered on that point alone.
If a person says something in court, you have every right to use what they say against them. I never said slashing and dunk were symbiotic, you did.
