Here's the full version: The 20 Most Hated Movies Ever Made | Taste of Cinema

20. Sex and the City 2
19. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
18. Battlefield Earth
17. The Wicker Man
16. X-Men: The Last Stand
15. Alien vs. Predator
14. Highlander 2: The Quickening
13. Hulk
12. Catwoman
11. Lady in the Water
10. The Happening
9. The Last Airbender
8. Die Another Day
7. House of the Dead
6. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
5. Batman & Robin
4. Psycho (not the Hitchcock version obviously)
3. Twilight
2. Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace
1. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

I've actually only seen numbers 1, 2, 6, 8, and 16 and I really didn't mind them all that much. I get why they're on the list however but the main reason is because they weren't near as good as the beloved movies in their respective series before them. Still an interesting list though and lolshyamalan

The last air bender wasn't too bad but you would have to be a fan of the avatar series to understand it.

Good list. I'm not gonna lie I don't think Die Another Day should be on that list, although I can see not many people liking Brosnan's last performance as 007. I did like it more than Casino Royale honestly...

The Star Wars is an odd choice too, you'd think that Episode III would be the most hated, since the Star Wars fans were inevitably unsatisfied with how the the last film of the movie series was ended (darn them hardcore fans, never pleased with anything).

I hate to admit it but I've never seen any of the other movies before. Hmm..

I always heard that it was better if you weren't a fan of the series because M. Night raped it.

Well if you watched it without knowing anything about the series then you wouldn't understand it as much.

I watched the Last Airbender knowing nothing about the TV show. I enjoyed it a lot actually. A lot of these movies I enjoyed, but I generally enjoy what most people don't.

Screw that list, Batman and Robin is pure gold. Anyone that hates that film deserves to freeze in hell.

Also, X-Men Last Stand was not that bad at all. I really don't get the hate for it.

Me either, I get it was worse than the first two, but I still liked it. It's just a matter of people being upset that it wasn't as good as the ones before it, which is most of this list because that's the main reason people hate movies, it's because they expect something from them and it doesn't live up to the expectations.

Thats why I don't expect much going in to any movie. It can be getting 5 star reviews and mad praise and I will go in expecting it to suck. Makes it better that way because then I enjoy almost every movie I go to more now. If you over sell something and it doesn't live up to it, then its seen as a failure. Undersell something and it turns out better, then its a better over all experience.

Good logic. Too often I hear about this amazing movie then go see it and it just bores me to death. Matrix 1 and The Dark Knight Rises I just kept waiting for those movies to get good and they never did.

I can say that I didn't really care for The Happening... other than that part where the guy got ran over by the lawn mower... that was cool.

But I liked The Last Stand. So screw that list. But it does make me feel good to see Twilight on there :D

What a lame list, obviously the person who made it is 17 years old.

Where's Howard The Duck?

People would have had to watch the film to be anywhere near most hated, nevermind it is a b-movie favorite.

And about the X-Men 3 hate. They showed a fight with a fucking Sentinel in the trailer, and made it a goddamned Danger Room simulation without ever showing the full robot! Did you see Juggernaut? He isn't a mutant by the way. Any of the comic book movies that are listed are all overly hated by comic book fans.
