Nick FUCKING Bockwinkel!!! People just don't know. Great heel. Great worker into his late 40's. People think Curt Hennig was this great wrestler on par with Savage, Steamer, HBK and Flair. That's just not true. Hennig never had anything stellar after he left the AWA, his best matches were with...

They were NEVER good wrestlers. Ever. But as the Sheepherders, Butch and Luke were HEAT MAGNETS. Awesome shit between them and the Fantastics that carried over from the awesome SWCW to Crockett. These cats started riots, they were so good at heeling it up. 6.5. Rikishi.

^^^Pumpt, you're probably the only dude that knows enough about Sheik to truly rate him. I've seen some of his stuff against Abby and Tiger Jeet Singh but not enough to rate him. I understand his importance to the brawling style of wrestling(still behind guys like Funk, Abby and muthafuckin...

Ahh yes, Zbyszko, the master of the stall. Good heel in his day, not an overly great wrestler, definitely boring in his last run in WCW in the early 90's, a 6.5. Scott Hall

^^^Who the fuck is AJ Lee?? I don't even care. But John, you're being too fucking vague in describing that match.I'm not one to call someone a liar, but did you really watch that match? I Sorry , you just don't sound like you know anything about most of the people you are rating from back in...

Cena's a 9. The only real draw in wrestling and has outside media appeal. He's not a Rock, Austin or a Hogan, but he's more more than a Savage, HBK or Hart. And he's a very solid worker, not an Austin, HBK or Savage, but better than Rock and Hogan. In 2007 he was probably the best wrestler in...

I'm going to totally do Benoit objectively due to him being my former favorite wrestler and almost killing wrestling for me... So, Benoit, hands down, was the best straight worker from a wrestling aspect in North America from 98 till his death. No one put more into their efforts than him. What...

Really??? Like this thread hasn't been done before and didn't go fifty or so pages. I was just saying I wasn't the appropriate person to rate him and honestly probably the only people on this board who are truly qualified or actually know who Ivan Koloff is on this board without having to Wiki...

I'm not touching Ivan. I really only saw his run as the patriarch Russian when he and Nikita were running wild in Crockett and later when they added Krusher Kruschev and I've seen some of his stuff on some of those old AWA shows they run on ESPN Classic so I'm basically exposed to the later half...

Michael P.S fucking Hayes is a 7.5. He really couldn't wrestle much, but he could do two things better than so many people in his era. 1. He could bump, go watch anything from Freebirds-Von Erichs and this man makes even the softest punch look like it kills him. And second, he could talk...

    That one that drew money.

You're the fucking man. So right. And to add to Snuka he was the top face in that company, totally eclipsing Bob Backlund by and far but they say the reason he was never made champ was because of being an islande, despite a Latino and a Dago being the company's top faces for the previous decade...

Just for sheer influence and for being such a revolutionary worker, Dynamite is a straight 8.5. His matches 30 years ago are still better than the indy scrubs that try so hard to bastardize his style to this day. Rick Martel

RVD is a 6.5. Never great on the mic and for every good match he was in he had like ten sloppy spot fests. He did have something about him that made people love him, but if you've seen one RVD match, you've seen ten RVD matches. Barry Windham

Tully's an 8.5. Fucking solid worker, heat magnet, original Horsemen. Perfected the cocky, playboy role and he and Gino Hernandez, the Dynamic Duo were ahead of their time. I love Tully's I Quit match with Mags from the second Starcade. He drove a fucking wooden chair leg into Tully's busted eye.

Sabu : In his prime, a solid 7 despite the complete absence of mic skills. He was a new twist on a Sheik esque character and when he was on was probably the best hardcore performer on the ECW roster. Now: he's old and busted but when auditioning for a job can still work. He's a 5, still can't...

Masters is a 4/10. No charisma. Not a good wrestler whatsoever, no mic skills. He's just a physical specimen with an extremely outdated finisher and his tits have more work rate than him. Jay Briscoe.

Matt Hardy... he's a 5.5. In 2003 he would have been a 7 because he showed he had some charisma. When he returned for the Edge feud in 2005 he was a 6.5. Now he's a fat boy who has no charisma and no passion. He's a freaking 5 tops and it pretty much looks like this is it for him. He can go to...

Because the matches weren't that good. Remember the Duchess of Queensbury match? Yah....
  20. Rate the wrestler

He's a 6.5. Good worker. Strong talker. But outside of his awesomeness in 08, never made much of an impact in the wrestling world. Will make a helluva trainer just like Finlay did. Tajiri.
