Yeah Yi isnt on or is nowhere near Yao's level. I will say this for him five years from he could be but I doubt that. Right now I see Yi being a middle of the road player not Shaq or Duncan like but better than Kwame.
Yeah Yao has been in the league for what five years? So he is already established Yi needs to surround himself with better people or remove his head from his ass.
I hope Derek doesnt retire and he plays a few more years. If its LA so be it. Man how Francis has fallen went from The Franchise to nowhere. He did nothing in Orlando, nothing in New York, and he was only traded for because of his contract. He is not even 30 yet here is to hoping he gets his...
Yeah the Bulls weakness is in the post. Wallace will guard the rim defensively but not offensively. The Bulls guards are streak shooters and when they're not knocking down shots they need to be able to drop it in the post to get some easy baskets. The best teams in the league have that to their...
I mean understand how great of a player MJ was but honestly who is telling the moves he is making are good? I get they're an expansion team and young and they're slowly improving but c'mon. Brandon Wright for J-Rich? That was just ugggghh. A rookie big man with tons of potential vs an injury...
Im really interested in finding out if/where Carter goes. I thought for sure he wouldnt pass up the 16 million he was set to make next year, but he did.
Yeah Richardson and Allen moving might be the biggest of all but KG may still move and then possibly Kobe but those two are looking less and less likely each day.
Lewis, Billups, G Wallace, Boykins, Oberto, Grant Hill, Nocioni, Walton, Webber, Mutumbo. There are some pretty good names out. As far as blockbuster trades the best may already be behind us, with the exception of one or two more.
If the Bulls were to try and get Kobe then it wouldnt just be for Brown itd be some younger pieces as well. The problem is The Bulls dont really think they need Kobe.
I was laughing my ass off when I saw that. MJ is another case of being a great player but sucky everything else. Some great players are good coaches or GMs as well (Bird) some are not (MJ).
Yeah he is, if you talk to him tell good luck and Ill be definitely following his career.
Speaking of the draft I wonder how the 76ers will do I think they have like 3 first round picks or something, and after the AI deal they were a .500 team, and im interested in whether or not the Bulls...
Of all the teams The Bulls definitely have one of the more brighter futures. Other than Wallace their best players (Hinrich, Nocioni, Deng, Gordon, Duhon, Thomas) have yet to enter their primes.
I feel you Rell, but injuries are injuries. In 06 when The Spurs lost to the Mavs in the Conference Semis. Duncan, Ginobili, Parker there three best players all had nagging injuries but they still won over 60 games. Compare the Bulls lineup with that of the Lakers:
Bulls
Hinrich (two way...
Look at the Pistons, no real Superstar but five excellent players. 3 years ago they beat Kobe and Shaq, then a year later they took the Spurs to 7 games and nearly won it all. The Bulls are following the same path the Pistons took.
HA! Its no secret the West is far superior to the East, but the Lakers arent even in the Bulls league (well technically they are but you know what I mean). If the lakers were in the East then they'd be in the same exact position, they're that bad. The Bulls in the West would be somewhere 4-7th...
PeeP i've been saying this forever, but the Bulls dont need a "superstar" player the have the whole Pistons thing going on. 5 great players beat 1 superstar player. Next year whether or not KG or Kobe is in Chicago the Bulls will still be one of if not the best team in the East.
Rell bless...
Im not knocking Farmar he SHOULD be great but right away? I dont know, in a year or two perhaps. Bynum is wrought with potential but same could have been said for Kwame. Just to keep things in persepctive.
Yeah I completely agree PeeP but the Suns dont want to move Amare to get KG, which is dumb in my mind because there best player Steve Nash is already 33 either nearing the end of his prime or it just ended, and The Suns will have wasted his best years. With KG they have a great shot to win it...
