Can You Tell Me About: Lucha Underground

Cornette said that Jim Smallman, promoter and owner of Progress wrestling, a guy he had never met or spoken to. Should be hung in a trailer park. Cornette is trash and his opinions are trash

Can You Tell Me About: Lucha Underground

The wrestling is fine. The storytelling is very out there. Lucha Underground is more a TV drama than a wrestling show and is presented as such. You have everything from time traveling, aztec gods, immortal monsters to regular luchadors competing for championships. It is a wacky ride. It also...

Why have WWE kept these Trash Shows?

Programming to fill out the network. Simple as that

    Wrestling Challenge 2017

I've got like an additional 50 matches to write up now. As well as the new NOAH shows to watch. The start of NOAH becoming the stiffest company ever. I need to quit my job and start watching graps full time. Maybe Solidus will pay me.

Triple H Not Happy With The Current State of NXT - NXT SA Media Call

Yup. Look over to the Japanese system. They take in a class roughly once per year of between 5 and 10 for the bigger companies like Dragon Gate or New Japan, which evens out to about 3-5 making it through. Or between 2-5 guys per class for the smaller companies. These guys get the coaches full...

    Rate Raw 01/30/2017

What we think does not matter. Vince's opinion of a guy is sadly what matters. And he sets his opinion once and rarely changes it. He's had Dillinger in developmental for 10 years and just now brought him up for a crowd pop moment. That tells us exactly how he thinks about him. See also Zack...

    Rate Raw 01/30/2017

Dillinger will end up on Smackdown most likely. Since he isn't seen as a big deal. Dillinger is considered a solid hand, a guy ment to make main eventers look good. The dude has been a WWE developmental wrestler for just over 10 years. If you're a NXT main eventer you're going to RAW with...

Smackdown would have benefited more from Joe since the main event scene on there is still rather thin. Plus we would have gotten Cena vs Joe. 15 years in the making.

Triple H Not Happy With The Current State of NXT - NXT SA Media Call

I understand WWE wanting homegrown talent, I even endorse it. But they should probably focus on smaller classes, making sure that those guys are properly trained and then taking in a new class when the existing one is done rather than the current mass recruitment approach. But WWE has the...

What do you think is the most offensive moment in WWE History?

She compared her dad getting busted for steroid distribution/use to the September 11 bombings. She truly is that petty.

If WWE was like the UFC..

As a man who watches a lot of promotions who operate with actual weight limits. I'd wager that these limits would still largely be kayfabe. Guys would be able to move in between fairly easily if they just fit the right height criteria. Just put on about five - ten pounds of muscle mass and...

Lesnar, who was a legitimate heavyweight in the UFC (heavyweight champion even) would be classed as a light heavyweight in the WWE?

So when exactly did 3 hours of Raw became boring??

Week 1. People knew from the word go that WWE would not be able to book a 3 hour weekly TV show to be compelling.

    WWE Live Events

Probably because those events went up months in advance and they had to advertise something. The cards always say "cards subject to change".

    Too much programming

On the other hand. They need a steady stream of programming to justify the network. But yeah. There's quite a few hours of WWE in the week. I tend to just watch the PPVs now and watch highlights from the TV to see if anything catches my interest. I'm much saner that way.

Triple H Not Happy With The Current State of NXT - NXT SA Media Call

Giant Bernard (Albert) was fucking awesome. His run in Japan after being let go by WWE was great. The problem is not on the coaches. It's that it is pro wrestling mass produced. They try to churn out wrestlers like it was a car factory putting together engines. That in itself is detrimental to...
