Why have WWE kept these Trash Shows?

I am talking about Main Event and Superstars.Seriously who watches them?With the brand split,everyone more or less gets TV time now.Add to this NXT and 205 Live,these shows are more irrelevant than ever.I still remember when they had US Title matches on Main Event.But now nothing really happens except boring matches and recaps.
So,Should WWE get rid of these shows? Or maybe make them special show dedicated to Tag teams and Women wrestlers?
