Benoit winning the title was a big moment at the time, and had his life not ended the way it did, it's a moment we'd all still be talking about in a positive light and would likely still be seen in video packages and whatnot. But, his life unfortunately did end the way it did and the moment will never be held in high regard again. Even if it was, Hall jumping ship still meant more to the industry.

I voted for Benoit. I think the main thing for me was the celebration right after. Him and Eddie just holding their heads high, Benoit looking so happy. It was just a great moment. I personally don't give a shit about the murder thing. Sure it sucked, but why should that reflect on his wrestling before it?

Benoit easily here. This is a mark out tournament. I marked out when he won the title. Its not like at that time anyone in their right minds thought he was going to snap and murder his family. At the time, it was one of the biggest markout moments I've ever had.

Was never a fan of Eddie or Benoit so it does nothing for me, plus he's scum. Razor showing up on Nitro was a big deal though.
