:( I loved Chris Kunitz for the ducks, he's a player who works really hard and he finally worked his way to the top line. Which in reality made him worth more so he'd be subject to trade. He played Left wing, which is a big hole with the ducks. I guess either Ryan or Teemu will be playing left wing. Wierd since the entire top line is right-handed. I'm glad guys like Ebbett, Ryan Carter and Bobby Ryan get more playing time. Really good young guys who've been fighting hard to get a spot in such a packed team like Anaheim.

Whitney adds a huge boast, and fills in the hole of Francois Beauchimun who's been injured this season. Overall this is a great Trade for the ducks. Adds a bigger possibility for the playoffs and the future. With Both Niedermayer being free agents next year i'm glad they're beginning to fill the holes up before they get bigger.

I guess Kunitz will be the guy playing with Crosby. He's a great player who fights for the pucks and has been a little guy on a big player team for a long time and he's fit in quite well. He's going to be a star with the penguins and i'm glad, he deserves it.

^Are you a ducks fan?

Since day one haha. For my grade three pictures, I wore my Ducks Jersey that had Kariya's name on the back. I'm a huge ducks fan. even though i'm from central Alberta.

Hey guys, there's this team in the eastern conference. They're sitting in second place right now, they have one of the best goal scorers in the league as well...whats his name? Parise? Yea, that guy. Anyway, they're umm cup contenders this year. Also their goalie...Brodeur is his name? Yea, him, he posted 2 shutouts in 4 games as well as 4 strait wins. That guy is gonna break the record for wins and shutouts this year.

Hold on...its coming to me now...this team...the best team in the NHL...who are they again?

Oh yea, thats right...

THE NEW JERSEY DEVILS!!

JERSEY'S TEAM IS TAKING THE CUP THIS YEAR, WOOOO!!!

EDIT: To all Leafs fans, did you enjoy watching Johnny Oduya score the game winning goal in overtime to beat that team from Toronto in front of what was mostly a dead crowd? I did :)

Wanted to catch ECW tonight so only caught the first quarter of the Wings game but that hit on Hossa was so god damn cheap. But oh well Wings still whooped the Blue's ass 5 to 0 so I won't complain.

Trade deadline is over.

Some notables:
-NYI trade Bill Guerin to Pittsburgh for a draft pick
-Boston Bruins traded prospect Petterri Nokkelainen to Anaheim for rugged defenseman Steve Montador
-Dallas got forward Steve Montador from Anaheim
-Phoenix traded defenseman Derek Morris to New York Rangers for Defensemen Kalinin, Forward Petr Prucha, and Forward Nigel Dawes
-Ottawa traded forward Antoine Vermette to Columbus for Goalie Pascal Leclaire
-Toronto traded forward Nik Antropov to the NY Rangers for a 2nd round pick
-Toronto traded forward Dominic Moore to Buffalo for a 2nd round pick
-Calgary acquired d-man Jordan Leopold from Colorado for some prospects
-Calgary acquired power forward Olli Jokinen (YES!!!!) from Phoenix for forward Matt Lombardi, Brandon Prust, and a 1st round pick

I'm estatic and dissapointed. As a fan of the game of hockey, I'm excited, cause some fair, good trades went down. As a Leafs fan I'm dissapointed cause they did shit. But most importantly, as a Flames fan, I'm so excited, cause of the awesome moves they mae with Jokinen and Leopold. Calgary added a good defenseman, and a star forward, for soem prospects, and nmow it seems like we really could win the cup this year. The leafs ont he other hand, like I said, got rid of some veterans, but only gained midround draft picks.

Detroit's a bunch of pussy's. Yes in today's NHL it doesn't compliment the north american style of play but it's what it's what i want to see damnit
