LOL...

Well this week I pretty much had nothing on this weekend and I watched basically every game there was except for Sharks/Knights mainly coz I don't like either side lol. All the games were pretty good but my favourite would have been Panthers Vs Titans, good game and was pretty close and both teams are in my favourites list lol. I also just saw the Raiders hammer the Roosters!!! Awesome :)

Canberra Raiders officials have strongly denied a claim that ex-player Steve Irwin was asked to lie to police to protect the NRL club's star playmaker Todd Carney.

Police say they are looking into a News Ltd newspaper report in which Irwin alleged he was asked to tell police Carney was not drunk when he led officers on a car chase through suburban streets last year.

"They (Canberra officials) asked me to say he wasn't pissed and that would keep him out of jail," News Ltd quoted Irwin as saying.

An ACT Policing spokesman said officers had read the report.

"We are aware of the claims and we are looking into it," he told AAP.

Police had not reopened the Carney case.

Irwin, who was a passenger in the car with Carney during the chase, was sacked by the club afterwards.

Canberra chief executive Don Furner refuted the claim that Irwin was asked to lie to police.

"It's a load of rubbish, and I'll be leaving it in the hands of our solicitors," Furner told Sydney radio 2KY.

"I only read it probably 15 minutes ago but I'll certainly be sending it to the solicitors because I don't know what he's talking about."

Raiders chairman John McIntyre has also strongly rejected the claim.

The club was expected to issue a statement later on Thursday.

Carney was sentenced to 200 hours of community service after the car chase and his decision to run from officers after abandoning the car in a dead-end street while driving with his licence suspended.

Earlier this week he was suspended indefinitely by the club after an incident at a Canberra pub early on Monday morning.

A complaint to police that he urinated on a patron was dropped but teammate Bronx Goodwin will face court at a date yet to be fixed, charged with two counts of assault stemming from the same drinking session.

that was from NRL.com, so that will make the game be even harder and challenging for both teams :D I hope Titans beat Raiders :shifty:

^ Roosters played like shit but still just won, then again the cowboys still have their two star players out who had surgery. Roosters are gonna get owned in the finals and next year the cowboys will win it :D

I will also post results tomorrow sometime...

I can't believe the Rabbits beat Manly :smh

Raiders are good, but they can't beat the Storm. They seem to be unstoppable this season, they have ever since that Grand Final loss to the Broncos in 06

Raiders will make the quater finals imo but they will not make the semi's, they are a good team but won't make it the whole way. I think Manly and/or Storm will lose to some other team and won't make the final, not sure which one but the sharks or roosters or some other team will upset them. Lets go warriors :shifty:
