I was legit hoping he'd be an NWA Champion at some point but it never materialized before COVID.

So much fell apart for NWA during the pandemic... did Corgan get the disease? Is one of the symptoms of long COVID becoming a massive Tyrus fan?

Well, hopefully for him he finally got the vaccine because everything I’m looking in NWA right now seems to be massively different and he’s promoting it is a new era, so that’s good for him and in NWA.

I mean Triple H is to blame for the extended extra year for sure, but the first three years were Vince.

A bit off topic but first thing he should be doing is not booking 40+ year old champions. NWA desperately needs a youth movement.

You may be right there... the idea of "WWE is the draw, the stars are secondary" isn't just for trashing 50/50 booking, it has some benefits too

I think a babyface match can work at wrestlemania under two conditions. You make the story personal and they’re your two most over babyfaces. You can’t take the 5th place babyface and put it up against your number one babyface and get them to Care but if they’re your top two babyfaces they’re gonna be into that because it’s kinda like a dream match type scenario for them.

A bit off topic but first thing he should be doing is not booking 40+ year old champions. NWA desperately needs a youth movement.

I both agree and disagree.

I think NWA needs youth better for its overall card, but typically talent peak later. Wisdom and experience is something they’ll pick up. And fans tend to get more invested the longer they know a talent. That’s why the WWF New Generation bombed so hard. Fans want to see new talent, but familiar faces still draw first.
