Brian Pillman Jr. leaves AEW after his contract expires

Weird case, I do think he could have been booked better 100% and he shined at times to the point I thought he'd be a big star but then other times was very meh

Wish him the best though, I still wanna see him succeed in some role bc he def has something even if it's a career mid carder (which is fine idk why that's such a bad word now)

honestly I think they booked him well enough and he didn't deliver when they did push him. But I don't disagree the tail end could have been better, clearly they lost faith in him tho

I think the problem was he felt so start and stop outside of youtube shows. Like he'd never be on Dynamite until he all of a sudden was feuding with MJF. A lot of guys had the same issues that did end up breaking out tho like the Acclaimed and the Gunns, just a lack of TV time available before Collision was the main issue and we'll see if Collision even helps (so far seems to be)

fair point. Im not 100% sure Collision is helping midcarders breakthrough yet tho, seems like a pretty top heavy show atm. but its early

I mean they tried way to hard to push him as this babyface when in MLW his biggest strength was as a heel
