Varsity def got destroyed by hob I remember Malakai kicked his head off when he botched his springboard
An interesting name was recently spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, an indication the company has an interest in signing this person.
Brian Pillman Jr. was recently removed from the AEW roster on the company website before it was reported this week that his contract with All Elite Wrestling had expired.
Three years ago, Pillman signed with AEW, where he occasionally wrestled on Dynamite, mostly being booked on Dark and Dark: Elevation. His biggest match on TV was against now-World Heavyweight Champion MJF in 2021.
He had been paired with Griff Garrison. He had expressed his frustration in the past about the way they were used and wasn’t happy about Julia Hart being taken out of the Varsity Blonds group for The House of Black.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Pillman was training at the Performance Center on Thursday.
No other details were given, but with the company having him at the training facility, they were at least giving him a look.
at 29, in nxt 2.0, yeah I'm shocked too nglDamn that was quick, I really didn't think WWE would have interest so if he gets signed there then good for him
think NXT iis at least starting to be a semi third brand again.at 29, in nxt 2.0, yeah I'm shocked too ngl
It's also that WWE isn't really hiring much. They signed exactly 1 indie talent this year so I'm shockedthink NXT iis at least starting to be a semi third brand again.
Development yes, but i think it could have a similar roster vibe to those WWEECW years
Not much of a jumping of ship when the first company literally was not trying to keep you at all. And do TJ and Pillman Jr. have any documented relationship at all or...?
