This is a debate I've been having on skype with CiV so let me get my two cents in and then, interested to see what people have to say.
Submission Finishers should be allowed outright.
So long as noone uses the spamming system, this is completely fair. Good, fun, part of the game that people have a stigma against. People should aim to get better at them like they do with kickouts. Submissions and submission escapes should be other parts of the game like reversals and kickouts that define whether you're good. Also opens the door to more unique finishers. Bear in mind that noone is winning with a random boston crab xD
A match should be able to be won with any move (that isn't a submission) after 2 finishers have been hit. Signatures can be used to win matches after 1 finisher.
I'm torn on the normal moves. It makes kayfabe sense but I don't think it's necessary because the momentum to get another finisher doesn't take long,
and the new major reversals mean that hitting them will be much easier. The signature thing I am behind though, because they need to be made strong like finishers are tbh.
Also,
any move? What, you can win off a right hand? You'd have to get specific so you may as well stick to finishers.
Plus, it is more fun to win with a finisher and it's less annoying to lose off a finisher.
This is all just IMHO and I'm very openminded about all this.
