i like both but i'm gonna go with all eyez on me every track was a classic
the first double cd in hip hop lost of guests good producers & pac was fresh
outta jail but life after death was a classic too i love that album notorious thugs was a good song

Damn that is hard, ummmmm All Eyez On Me my reasoning may be flawed on this one but sue me. Life After Death came out right after Biggie was killed. So it was in the Media, and news and what not. Now the argument can be made that had Biggie not been killed it wouldnt be as big as it was. Classic nonetheless, but still. Pac was alive when he dropped All Eyez on Me and it has probaly my favorite Pac song on it I aint mad at cha, well idk if its my fav but its up there.

I'd have to agree with you there's hardly any if any tracks on all eyez on me that I skip the only one I do skip is "What's Your Phone #" I can't stand the beat to that song it annoys me alot and Life After Death seemed to have had alot of filler on it although it is still a classic in my opinion...

Coolio was cool, I wouldnt mistake him for Nas, Jay, or Em. But Coolio was aight, Gangsta Paradise was one of the best rap songs ever imo

Damn it, Defiant! lol j/k that's a real tough one though...

I'm going to have to say Illmatic because of it's significance with East Coast hip-hop, the lyricism is untouchable at least at that time, the production was top notch especially having DJ Premier, Q-Tip, Pete Rock and Large Professor handling the production that was unheard of at that time (alot of rappers at that time only used one producer) it revived the Queensbridge rap scene, and it's regarded as one of the most influential rap albums of all time...now The Eminem Show may be held in that same regard somewhere down the line but as of now it's not in my opinion...Bottomline- Illmatic had more of an impact...

Mat, as far as Coolio goes...I only like two of his songs and that's "Fantastic Voyage?" and "Gangsta's Paradise" other than that I don't see him as one of the "greatest" or "top" rappers...

as a rapper he's alright; he does bite pac's style a bit but who doesn't nowadays anyway as a businessman I think he's great...

Mybad Anigma I didnt think anyone saw my question so I deleted it lol But I agree with what you said Both are classic but Illmatic edges it out, down the line The Eminem Show will be looked at in the same light but not just yet.

Mat P does use Pac's Style but mixed in with that Nawlins slang, he was one of the first successful South Businessmen/rapper/CEO and whatnot. P isnt the one of the greatest rappers but he just made decent songs.

I think Snoop joining No Limit was great for his career because it made him more fresh and it seemed after he left DR that it was like a breath of fresh air...The Last Meal was a classic...that was the album he released on No Limit right?
