I find it funny how people seem to ditch their friends as soon as a guy/girl comes into their life.

It makes me wonder, if you ditch your friends, who's going to be your best man/maid of honor at your wedding?!

Good thing about my girl is that she lives a fair distance away which gives me time to hang out with my mates and not have to see her every day.

I'd never ditch my mates, my girl comes with me to wrestling shows with me and my mates at times and sometimes i go to the Tennis with her and her friends so it's fair equal

Seems like how it always goes spending every minute with the person and no one else then months later get tired of them, lol.

As for me single and prefer it that way for a little while.

Just speaking from personal experience. 50% of my friends from high school now spend their everyday with their girlfriends. Just wonder because I attended a huge wedding yesterday, who will be their for my old mates who have ditched all their mates.

Five years (with the same person!). We met at college and have a bunch of mutual friends, so that solves that problem.

I'm glad I worked things out with my girl, that was so shitty, I don't EVER want that to happen again.

I vacated from a 4 year relationship. Our split was mutual. I only miss the sex. Now I just go out on dates and get what I missed.

Prove me wrong
I am single right now, mainly because i'm not good with relationships. And have been told "I FEAR COMMITMENT".

But i'm enjoying the single life right now so i can't complain.
