Developmental News: World Championship Wrestling has signed a developmental deal with young superstar Samoa Joe. Joe will be sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling for a time. WCW has first dibs on whether to bring Samoa Joe to the brand, and has veto power over other brands bringing him in.​

So I should probably clarify the Developmental deal.

You guys may choose to have me sign a guy to go down to developmental, whether it be OVW or another company. You'll have exclusive rights to his usage in the companies, and you can choose to let another person use them for a time, but you will control their booking completely. You can also choose to waive your rights to them and basically sell them off to the other brands for a trade deal.

For the record, Smark owns the rights to Samoa Joe, CM Punk, and Kevin Thorn (when they inevitably sign, so don't fuck him over, or I will be angry).
