WWE Predicts That Batista Will Return

-- The latest issue of WWE Magazine looks back at the slew of grappling greats that debuted ten years ago—John Cena, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Brock Lesnar and Batista. In their write-up for Batista, WWE predicts that fans haven't seen the last of The Animal.

WWE states: "Although he left the company in 2010, many see the departure as a temporary one, and it's simply a matter of time before The Animal rises again."

I know that he has expressed his displeasure with some of the guys on the roster looking weak enough to get their ass beat, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him return.

He still has more matches in him. He has outside projects to push. He could walk in the door and outdraw any regular outside Cena. WWE also needs a main eventer and guy who wouldn't mind working SD over Raw.

Do you think it is possible he could be returning as well this year?

I think he could return this year but you never know what that guy has in mind. He did express his displeasure for some guys on the roster and I think that is a good thing, if he returns then he could have feuds with those guys? He would probably go to Raw if he returned but if he went to Smackdown, I wouldn't be disappointed.

He will be back eventually. He's too old to stay away, only has a few peak money years left.

That means nothing as far as them stating he could comeback as they've stated stuff as NWO coming back, hardcore title coming back etc. He seems really content not being in WWE and bashes WWE's PG direction that won't be going anywhere anytime soon so I can't see him back the more and more he speaks on WWE.

I'd mark the fuck out if he is a Surprise Rumble Entrant.

I'd love to see him back, he looks a lot in shape. (Face or Heel) I woudn't care.

He could be a Tweener? I think he could be a suprise Royal Rumble entrant but like I said before, you never know what he has in mind or the WWE has planned.

I doubt he'd return. He seems good where he is at. BUT if he were to return it'd have to be as a heel cause that was the only time he was entertaining. He was extremely stale as a face... even more stale than Cena.

I'd bring him back and have him on SD.

It doesn't matter whether any of us want him back or not, the guy is content where he's at now and definitely won't be returning as long as the current PG product is in place. The reason why Batista left in the first place was because he didn't see himself being a part of it, so why would he return now?

He definitely won't be a surprise Rumble entrant, so let's not be silly and begin thinking that. He's above making a solitary appearance in a match like the Rumble, and if he was to somehow return then it'd be something like how Jericho has returned to likely have one feud and leave again.

But please, no more "could be a surprise Rumble entrant" because it's getting silly.

I hope he does return as a face on SD. SD is really lacking top faces atm and especially with the injury to Sin Cara and Randy Orton and the rumours of Big Shows heel turn. He could be the star power that SD needs.

Scorpion King 3 ..... was advertised 4 times on USA during Raw, if that is what you are getting at

: Batista in Scorpion King 3 will be humourous. This guy doesn't have very good acting skills but I did enjoy the movie that he was in with Rob Van Dam though.

I think Batista could return in the very near future, possibly later this year or a surprise Royal Rumble entrant. He did say he is doing something major in January back last month on Twitter when he hit a certain amount of followers. He made an announcement once he hit the amount of followers he was aiming for but it was a very small one and I think he didn't reveal the big one and he has a bigger project on the cards (WWE?). Him returning at Royal Rumble though for me is highly unlikely due to the fact he is focusing on his MMA career majorly and with his gym. He also doesn't like where the current product is at and the PG rating, he constantly rants about it in public too.

As much as I'd like him to return as I was a massive fan of him, heel or face. I don't think it will happen during the PG product but if enough money is thrown on the table, I think he'll do it. Batista lives a very expensive lifestyle and without a good income source, the only way he is going to earn a good amount of money is returning to the WWE.

His latest movie was The Scorpion King 3 which I heard was a pretty crappy remake, a DVDRIP is up on torrent sites atm.

There's a slight chance he'd return, I mean I'd love to see him back but as you said he does hate on the PG Product so it'll be interesting to see if he does end up coming back or doesn't.
