Is he really a slight chance of returning? Yes, but two things would need to happen - the product would need to become more edgier, but also the money needs to be adequate. Other then that, you can rule out anything in the near future, so once again don't even think about a Royal Rumble return. He'll only ever be back part-time anyway, so a Royal Rumble return wouldn't make sense to me.

He may return but my god I can't look into this.

If Big Dave did return the only way I'd take him serious is if he was Heel. His face runs never appealed to me but his Heel run was golden and it really got Batista out of his shell imo.

I guess HomeMalone, but it's still something good to discuss and why just randomly put him there in the magazine all of a sudden? Also since WWE Magazine/WWE.com started talking about the Hardcore Championship, WWE have put it under consideration. With this, could WWE be hinting to Batista or the fans? Meh, I dunno. I hope he returns one day though.

Would they want him to bulk up again or let him come back at his current physique?

According to what? There is no need for a Hardcore title right now. They have a hard time booking their current champions.

I actually liked Batista in his last run. He was pretty entertaining. I don't know how he could pull that off as a face but I'd like to see WWE tweak his character so it might. I'd prefer he just returned still pissed off that Cena is the biggest star.

Yeah but it wouldn't really work and it wouldn't be very interesting either, CM Punk just had a major feud relevant to that last Summer.

With Batista in his current physique, I think he could put on great matches. He wasn't bad before but was a bit bulky.

It doesn't matter whether any of us want him back or not, the guy is content where he's at now and definitely won't be returning as long as the current PG product is in place. The reason why Batista left in the first place was because he didn't see himself being a part of it, so why would he return now?

He definitely won't be a surprise Rumble entrant, so let's not be silly and begin thinking that. He's above making a solitary appearance in a match like the Rumble, and if he was to somehow return then it'd be something like how Jericho has returned to likely have one feud and leave again.

But please, no more "could be a surprise Rumble entrant" because it's getting silly.
Happens every year with everyone saying this and this guy can be a surprise rumble entry then when the rumble happens only 1 or 2 surprise guys happen and they aren't the guys you thought.

It'd be weird if they tagged, they wouldn't have to tag at all and Jerry Lawler would be like... So who's in the ring now?!

I do see him making a return eventually it won't be a full time return but something like a six month deal which leads into a WM match. His career post WWE hasn't really exploded so I see him returning for a few very good paydays and WWE will be more than happy to have him since he was one of the top draws when he was around.
