Ok. Follow up question. And these are legit questions.

What makes someone deserving of a push?

Overness with the crowd, talent, how good they can represent the company, how they are with fans, etc. Someone who is pretty marketable. At least that's how I see it. Now you might see it different, and clearly Vince does also and yeah I don't run no muti-billion dollar company. Never said I do. Just that attendance is down, ratings are down, people are getting rid of the network...something is clearly not making people happy.

Look who has egg on his face after my post lol.
Naw....you said someone deserves a push.....even after she was the most pushed star in the company for more than a year.

That’s fair. Let me raise a counter point. Since you used Asuka as an example; wasn’t she undefeated for a year and woman’s Champion and the ratings weren’t still that good.

I get your logic, I really do. If they pushed her once and she didn’t really move the needle the way Ronda, Becky, Charlotte did; why does she “deserve” another push?

Ronda was the only woman to move the needle....plain and simple.

All that women's evolution shit was never going to get over anything the Bella's did ratings wise or general mainstream attention.

That was in NXT, now see with Asuka it's iffy with me. She deserves a good push, but nothing like she had in NXT. That to me was an over push. But as far as I remember, her push on the main roster didn't last that long, I might be wrong but I'm sure it was only like...what 5 or 6 months of a push? She debuted the end of Oct and by the start of April she lost.

I'll be fair and say that maybe that none of the people have what would be called enough star power nowadays to move the needle, and that's honestly another problem that I can't solve by just saying push this person or push that person. That goes way way back to when WWE was not making new stars when they could have, and had Cena, Orton, Etc just beating them.

Like I said tho, I still find shit I enjoy, the matches, or some of the stories. Hell I'm actually invested in something Roman is doing and I never really been a huge Roman fan. But I'm invested in this storylijne he has.

No shit....that's my entire point.....bitching and moaning about the "quality" of storytelling.....doesn't negate what the bottom line is......if you're going to paint anything with broad strokes like that....you'll look silly.

If they're making money hand over fist....someone's perspective of what they are watching on TV....doesn't mean much in the long run.

Which is why I've never knocked AEW selling out shows.....

But then again, I'm not getting any buyrates or quarterly reports for them.....which is weird.

No you said not to hate on Vince because the investors are happy and I'm saying they're happy cause WWE is doing well but as a fan i still want quality tv.

Well the world don't work that way....you can always leave the show off, if you don't like something.

End of the day.....what we all want or like are not going to be the same thing. We are a diverse audience that crosses over all spectrums of age, race, Creed, religion, social status.....there's a balancing act being done....so of course you're not always gonna get what you want.

Imagine if the Marvel universe was treated the same as the WWE universe.....we would've done away with Thor after the second movie and and complain about Thanos doing the job.

Thor 2 still got ok reception and made a profit and Thor was always going to be in the avengers films so I don't think that would've been possible lol.

Ah yes, it's so easy for a company to ride off hype like AEW. Why, I remember a few years back when TNA was formed and they sold out several 10,000 seat arenas in a row for their first string of shows and immediately landed a primetime TV deal on a huge network. I believe MLW, ROH and EVOLVE all did the same as well if I'm not mistaken.
