Alright, at the end of season 3, they show Jeff looking for his father, Chang at City College, Abed keeping a piece of his Imaginarium board, ect.

They only covered two of those. Chang and Jeff.

Chevy left the show and didn't shoot two episodes.
The co-main event Chevy wasn't there, but in the main event he was.
And in the main event Chang jumped in front of Jeff and yelled "Friendship!"

Fuck this is confusing, unless Chang was Kevin.

They re-shot it since Chevy wasn't involved in the scenes.

Yea they obviously shuffled the order around from the order they were filmed to the order they aired

The puppet episode was clearly panicky filler after Chevy left. It was terribly and didn't fit in with the rest of the season at all.
