FINALLY someone mentions the double kick up in a Lesnar/Rock match review! Nobody even mentions it in a Summerslam review but I thought that moment was awesome!

WWE Undisputed Champion: Brock Lesnar
WWE Women's Champion: Molly Holly
WWE Intercontinental Champion: Rob Van Dam
WWE Tag Team Champions: The Un-Americans
WWE Hardcore Champion: Tommy Dreamer

Eric Bischoff comes out on the stage and welcomes us to his show. He then promise's a historic night when the Hardcore Champion Tommy Dreamer will face IC Champion Rob Van Dam. And then we'll bestow a Lifetime Achievement Award to a great WWE Superstar. But first, welcome the new Undisputed Champion, Brock Lesnar!

Paul Heyman & Brock Lesnar come out and head down to the ring, Heyman gets on the mic and says "You can take Bruno Samartino, Superstar Billy Graham, and Hollywood Hulk Hogan, combine them all, and they still don't equal the Next Big Thing. He told us all this was going to happen, but no one would listen. He told us Lesnar would win King of the Ring, but no one would listen. He told us Lesnar would destroy the myth of Hollywood Hulk Hogan, but no one would listen. He told us Lesnar would defeat the Rock for the Undisputed Title, but no one would listen. It's about time everyone listened up" Brock then takes the mic and says he's twenty-five years old, and the youngest World Champion in history. He's the youngest ever, and nobody can beat him. Shawn Michaels' music hits, but Triple H comes out instead. AWESOME! He even does moves like Michaels would do too :lmao Triple H stands on the stage and says that it is the last time we will ever hear that crap again. Last night, Triple H crippled Michaels. Shawn didn't even belong in the same ring, and now he will never get in the ring again. In fact, Shawn might never even walk again. Triple H then starts walking to the ring and he reminds Brock that he wouldn't be Champion if it weren't for Triple H. Trips softened the Rock last week, and he told Brock that when he came out with his new Title, he would be waiting. Well here he is, and now Brock owes him. Triple H enters the ring and asks if Brock is man enough to "play the game" They go nose-to-nose, Suddenly Undertaker's music hits and he comes down to the ring. Undertaker says the way he sees it, Triple H is all wrong. The way he sees it he should get first crack at the young blood. He then calls himself the #1 Contender and asks if Brock is the "Next Big Thing" or "Next Big Bitch"! Taker gets in Brock's face, allowing Triple H to attack Taker from behind. He and Brock beat Taker into the corner; Triple H then starts to attack Brock which allows Taker fights back and knocks Triple H out of the ring. He then goes face-to-face with Brock and knocks Brock out of the ring with one punch. Triple H renters the ring, and stares Undertaker down then leaves the ring again.

Back from the commercial, And Bischoff is at the commentary table, he telling us that tonight, we will find who the Number One Contender is when Triple H and the Undertaker take on each other in the Main Event.

Booker T vs. Christian (w/ Lance Storm)
4 minutes of really good action here, they did tell much of story but just did a bunch of really good moves, Booker was really energetic but Christian would cut him off with simple yet effective moves, this happen maybe 3/4 times before the big comeback. I must say Booker's slap/chop back and forth combo in the corner is the most hilarious thing I've ever seen. The match ends when Booker is about to do the Spinaroonie, but Lance Storm runs in, only to be cut off by Goldust. Goldust battles Storm out of the ring, while Christian looks for the Unprettier. Booker pushes him away and hits the scissors kick for the win. **1/2

In the back, Christian complains to Storm, but Test comes up and tells them to cool down. It’s only one match Test then says he's got a plan that will have people talking about the Un-Americans for years.

Christopher Nowinski & William Regal (w/ Molly Holly) vs. Bubba Ray & Spike Dudley
Terrible, terrible, terrible match. Bubba hits the bubbabombs Nowinski for the win. Post-Match: , Bubba tries to powerbomb Molly through the table, but William Regal hits Bubba in the head with the brass knux! Nowinski catches Molly and saves her, by pulling her from the ring. Spike then tries to DudleyDog Regal through the table, but it doesn't break! :lmao and it appears Regal LEGIT injured his arm. But Bubba doesn't give a fuck and powerbombs Regal straight through the table! *

Backstage, Bischoff tells someone in the Special Guest Locker-room to stay in there while he goes out and to wait for their introduction to receive the award. Elsewhere Molly thanks Nowinski for being a gentleman and says that if there is anything she can do to repay him, just say so! She then gives him a hug.

In the ring, Bischoff says that it is his honor to bring to you one of the greatest superstars of all time: Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka! Snuka comes out and comes to the ring. Bischoff, holding a plaque, says that he has created a highlight reel of Snuka's greatest moments. The movie is highlighted by Snuka's famous flight off the top of the steel cage in Madison Square Garden. Bischoff says that it is with great pleasure that he presents to Jimmy Snuka the WWE Lifetime Achievement Award. How does it feel? Snuka starts to say thanks, but Bischoff takes the mic back and says these past three minutes in the ring have just been -- ...hold on, hold on. DID SOMEBODY SAY...THREE MINUTES?! The crowd boos, as Rosey & Jamal jump the rail and attack Jimmy Snuka! Bischoff laughs from the ramp as we go to a commercial, they show footage of it again as Snuka is being helped out, but Chris Jericho comes down dressed for a match, and puts Snuka in the Walls of Jericho, then laughs.

Jericho gets on the mic and wonders when they changed the name of this arena to Madison Square Hasbeen? Just like Flair, Snuka thinks that he deserves special treatment just because he's old. If anyone deserves an award, it's the King of the World. And if anyone should have won that match at SummerSlam, it should be him and not Flair. And he has footage to prove it. We see a replay of SummerSlam, where Flair tapped with one hand while he grabbed the ropes with the other. Well Jericho is pissed off, and he's going to take his anger out on Flair's little buddy Jeff Hardy. But first, since Flair disrupted his Fozzy concert last week, he's going to give us all a special treat: Jericho's own version of "New York, New York." Jericho begins to sing, but of course changes the song to make him dying to get out of New York instead of going to it. We come back to find Jericho still singing, until Jeff Hardy makes his entrance.

Chris Jericho vs. Jeff Hardy
This was okay but it did have a few mishaps, Jericho was really in Vintage loud asshole mode here so you know he was bumping his ass off for Jeff when needed. They did do this cool spot on the outside when Jeff does the runs on the security wall but Jericho watches him in mid-air and powerslams him on the floor, the next few minutes Jericho works on the back and Jeff has a average comeback. The match ends when Jeff tries a hurricanrana, but Jericho catches him and pulls him down into the Walls of Jericho, but Jeff grabs the ropes. Jericho refuses to break the hold, and the ref DQ's him. **1/4

In the back, Terri interviews Paul Heyman/Brock Lesnar she asks Heyman who he prefers as his #1 Contender, but Brock says that it doesn’t makes a difference! Elsewhere Test holds up a US flag and says tonight, this goes up in flames, and he has a blow torch. Christian comments that 'this is wrong...... it's perfect!"

The Un-Americans come to the ring, Test with the blowtorch and Storm with the flag. Test says that it's about time the Americans realize what the rest of the world thinks America. Storm and Christian unfurl the flag, but the fires of hell explode and Kane's video plays. But Kane does not appear! Booker T & Goldust come through the crowd and attack the Un-Americans instead they take out Storm and Christian, leaving Test in the ring with the flag. BOOM! The Fires of Hell explode again, and Kane appears! The Big Red Machine is back! He comes to the ring and beats Test down. Christian hits Kane with a chairshot that doesn't faze him. Kane clears the ring of Storm and Christian, then chokeslams Test! The Un-Americans back up the ramp, as Booker celebrates and Goldust waves the flag. Booker hits the Spinaroonie as Goldust and Kane look on. Booker starts to leave, but Kane stops him. He tells Booker that the people didn't come just to see the Spinaroonie. They came to see the Kane-a-roonie! Kane stares at his glove and spins around, then lights the ringposts. WHAT?

Unification Match: WWE Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam vs. WWE Hardcore Champion Tommy Dreamer
This was fun, it was standard Hardcore stuff. Nothing was phenomenal and we've seen all the spots done before. At one point RVD set dream up on the security wall and RVD put the ladder in-between the wall and the ring apron, he then got on it and jumped off with a flying side kick, which was pretty sweet. RVD even did that hilarious DDT bump when he lands on the top of his head. The match ends when Tommy stands on the ladder and tries to Superplex RVD, but RVD takes out his legs and Dreamer straddles the rungs. RVD hits a flying heel kick and then low dropkicks a chair into Tommy's face. RVD goes up top and hits the Five Star for the win. Post-Match: RVD hugs a tearful Dreamer then RVD celebrates in the ring with his Title while Tommy starts an R-V-D chant up the ramp. ***

As we come back, Stacy Kiebler comes down the ramp and says that she isn't in Fink's corner. She's just here to make sure Trish doesn't get involved. Fink says that “Stacy's getting involved with something in his trousers” HAHAHAHAHAHA! Trish and Lillian come down for the first ever Tuxedo/Evening Gown match, with the winner becoming the ring announcer for Raw. Fink says that Lillian has a nice gown, but hookers were banned from this city a long time ago. :lmoa I love this guy.

Lilian Garcia vs. Howard Finkel
DUD!

#1 Contender's Match: The Undertaker vs. Triple H
This was a lot better than their other previous 2002 match but barely, It was just a brawl and Triple H was in control for the most part and they just brawled for the most part all punched they did work in the sleeper but that was part of the story of Triple H working the head. The match ends when Taker whips Hunter into the corner, smashing Earl Hebner in the process. Taker again whips Trips into the corner, and again Hebner gets smashed. Taker calls for the end and hits the Chokeslam, but Hebner is out. Lesnar runs to the ring, but Taker knocks him off the apron. Triple H low blows Taker and goes for the Pedigree, but Taker back bodydrops him. Lesnar comes back in and nails Taker with the Title belt. Triple H begins crawling on top of Taker for the win. **1/4

In the back, Stephanie exits her limo, to be greeted by Bischoff. He tells Steph to get the hell out of his building! He then brags about how he has the Number One contender. Lesnar and Heyman walk up and Steph asks what Triple H is contending for. Bischoff says that the Undisputed Champion wrestles on both shows, but Steph opens the door for Lesnar and Heyman and tells Bischoff that it is the Champion's choice what shows he wrestles on. She has paid Lesnar a large sum of money to stay exclusive to SmackDown.

WWE Smackdown 08/29/2002 (MY BIRTHDAY :mark: It's my 10 birthday)
Mohegan

WWE Undisputed Champion: Brock Lesnar
WWE Women's Champion: Molly Holly
WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Jamie Noble

Stephanie McMahon comes down to the ring wearing this BANGIN' RED DRESS, she gets on the mic and welcomes everybody to Smackdown!, home of Undisputed Champion, Brock Lesnar! She says that the number one contender for the title is not Triple H as stated previously on Raw, but someone on Smackdown. So she announces a single-elimination series of matches and the last one will be named the number one contender for the Undisputed Championship.

acn9eiQ1.gif

Edge vs. Eddie Guerrero
Summerslam rematch YES! Edge comes down to the ring and Steph says "I'll scream if i want it" :mark: As for the match it was really good but not SSlam good, they start really fast trading moves but Edge gets the best of him so Eddie sticks out his and calls a truss :lmao but Edge doesn't take it and attack. But Eddie turns it around with a cheap shot. From that Eddie begins to work the head and arm at the same time, E.G. he would hit a suplex but then go straight to an arm bar but it would look like Edge was gonna counter it so Eddie would work the head instead. Edge's comeback was great as he was hitting all these moves and everything was smooth and connected perfectly. The match ends when Eddie brings two chairs into the ring, one hidden outside the ring apron, Eddie then purposely overthrows one of the chairs in the ring and Edge gets a hold of the chair, he threatens to hit Eddie. But the referee pulls the chair away from Edge, and takes it outside the ring. While the ref is doing that that, Eddie gets the other chair and Edge goes for the spear but Eddie counters it with the steal chair. ***

Backstage, Matt Hardy grabs Stephanie and tells her the fans at the Mohegan Sun love him! he then asks if he's the next one in the series. She says no, and says that Rikishi will face Guerrero. Matt says then he will obviously take on the winner of that match.... right? Steph says "we'll see!"

John Cena vs. Reverend D-Von
This was basic and fun, while it lasted they pretty much played the story of the "Exp veteran vs. the 3 month rookie". So D-Von was pretty much in full control for the majority and Cena hit a bunch of botched moves the worse being a "roll-up" just looked awful, anyway D-Von hit the Reverse Brain buster I think it's called the Curtain Call for the win. Post-Match: Batista destroys D-Von with a VIOLENT clothesline him the Batista Bomb and we get the BATISTA theme song that we would get until what 2005 when he became world champ. *1/4

A Rey Mysterio tribute video airs

Rey Mysterio vs. Rico
Mysterio exhibition :mark: but it wasn't a complete squash as Rico got some offense in which included a sideslam power bomb, a delayed vertical suplexes into a Falcon Arrow and the Goldberg snap powerslamb (pressed, then slammed) HOLY SHIT! Rico needs to be pushed. Rico then missed a moonsault which allows Rey to have FUCKIN' AMAZING COMEBACK which included springboard triple-jump moonsault but that only gets a two count. The match ends when Rey hits the 610 & the West Coast Pop for the win. **3/4

Hardcore Holly is trying to convince Stephanie that he should be in the number one contender title series. Dawn Marie interrupts and says Stephanie has an important phone call waiting; Steph goes into her office, leaving Dawn in the hall with Hardcore. Holly gets all in her face and asks what phone call is more important than Hardcore Holly?

In her office, Stephanie is on the phone with the Raw brand defector. She says that Dawn can deliver the papers now since the hotel is connected to the arena. Matt Hardy comes in and tells Stephanie he needs to talk to her. She stays on the phone, he hangs it up. She calls him a son of a..... And gives him a match with Lesnar. Hardy is excited and says that this is all he needs for his career.

Marc Lloyd interviews Rikishi and he says he was F5ed a few weeks ago he's got some unfinished business, and says that he will give Brock a 'piece of the kish' Eddie Guerrero jumps in and mocks Rikishi. Eddie tells Rikishi that his diaper’s too tight and that tonight he’ll be taking on Latino Heat, not Brock Lesnar, and Rikishi asks how to say “Back That Ass Up†in Spanish and they both walk away.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Rikishi
Eddie was great and tried his best to make this watchable but the problem is Rikishi is trash at this point. Eddie worked on the knees for half the match but Rikishi barely sold it and he won with a superkick. TERRIBLE BOOKING! Post-match: Benoit comes down and suplexes Rikishi. Guerrero hits a frog splash on Rikishi and then Benoit puts him in the cross face. Edge comes running out to save Rikishi. *1/2

In the back, Stephanie runs up to Benoit and tells him he must feel bad about losing the Intercontinental Title and he must want to take out that anger. She says he is in the title series and will fight Rikishi.

Shannon Moore (w/ The Hurricane) vs. Tajiri (w/ Jamie Noble & Nidia)
Noble high fives Michael Cole for being to ensure he talks good about him and or maybe it's because Cole and Knoble are part of the "I made out with Nidia" clique. AWESOME! Having to watch Moore attempt to wrestler is terrible but seeing Tajiri carry the shit out of him, kinda makes up for it. Everything about Shannon Moore gets me angry from his shitty silver/white pants to this awful fuckin' theme song to useless flips to that noodle hair, Moore wins with a roll-up. What a Diva. *1/2

Chris Benoit vs. Rikishi
2 minutes of BENOIT beating the shit out of him, which means it was AWESOME! Rikishi taps to the Crossface. *1/2

Mark Lloyd interviews Kurt Angle; Lloyd asks Angle what he thinks about the elimination series? Angle says that he wants to apologize to Snow White and the other 6 dwarfs for beating up their hero Rey Mysterio. Marc Lloyd says that Mysterio almost beat him many times that night. Angle tells him to shut up. Angle goes on to say that Stephanie has told him that he will face Benoit in the final match up for the number one contender series.

Funaki tries to interview Lesnar; Heyman says that it’s not a good idea to bother Lesnar during his before match preparations. Matt Hardy shows up behind them. He says that tonight marks a new era. No longer will it be referred to at WWE Attitude but WWE Matt-itude. Heyman tells Funaki that he learns something new every day, because tonight he learned that Matt Hardy has a death wish.

Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman) vs. Matt Hardy
Fun little squash here, Matt got so offense in and Brock being the great guy that he is bumped for all of it. But the best part of the match was Brock just having not a care in the world and just began throwing Matt around like a toy was great. This went on for around 3 and a half minutes which was perfect timing for what they wanted to accomplish. The match ends when Matt goes for the twist of fate but Lesnar counters with the F-5 for the win. Post-Match: Lesnar runs back up to the ring and power bombs Hardy twice. **1/4

Backstage Stephanie is presented with a signed contract with the Raw defector by Dawn Marie. Stephanie says that the main event will be a triple threat match between Benoit, Angle and the Raw defector. She tells Dawn to make sure Eric Bischoff is watching to see one of his superstars defect.

Benoit and Angle come down for the match; Stephanie comes out to announce who the defector is. It is the Undertaker! :mark: THE BIRTHDAY RULES~!

#1 Contender's Match: The Undertaker vs. Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle
This match was pretty great. An Angle/Benoit interaction was GREAT! An Angle/Taker interaction was GREAT! But the Benoit/Taker interactions AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I want more :( but we never got it, all I ever wanted was Benoit/Taker on SD for 8 minutes cause I knew we was never getting a PPV :( I loved the double team with Angle and Benoit just working on every part of Takers body for like a minute, they worked leg, head and back then just threw him out like trash. Once they did that Benoit/Angle did their usual sweet counters with each guy hitting 4 Germans each then punches and counter either the ankle lock or Crossface. Another thing I liked about the match was it was really face paced the match went around 9 minutes but it felt like 6 that's how much fun it was. The ending was AWESOME! Too with Taker delivers a choke slam to Benoit. Taker covers but Angle breaks it up, by putting Taker in the ankle lock. Benoit breaks up the hold. They knock Angle out of the ring. Benoit locks in the cross face on Taker. Angle comes from behind and gets the ankle lock on Taker while Benoit has the cross face locked in :mark: Angle goes from an angle slam but Benoit puts him in the cross face. Angle counters and puts Benoit in the ankle lock. Benoit reaches the ropes and Angle breaks the hold only to re-apply it. Taker rolls up Angle for a two count. Angle delivers the Angle slam to Taker. Benoit throws Angle over the top rope. Taker delivers the last ride to Benoit and covers for the win. ***1/4

That was one of the greatest ever summerslam, such a stacked card!

Yep that Steph dress was a knockout, Hunter really doesn't deserve her.

Disagree on Edge/Eddie, I think their Smackdown match was better and Unforgiven even better.

WWE Raw 09/02/2002
Milwaukee, Wisconsin

WWE Women's Champion: Molly Holly
WWE Intercontinental Champion: Rob Van Dam
WWE Tag Team Champions: The Un-Americans

Eric Bischoff comes to his ring carrying a briefcase and he gets on the MIC. He says that since Brock is exclusive to Smackdown! Then the Undisputed title is disputed, and the RAW fans deserve their own Champion, exclusive to RAW. Stephanie can call Undertaker the #1 Contender if she wants, and he can fight Brock Lesnar at Unforgiven. But we know who the real #1 Contender is; the man who showed Undertaker that it's was easy to jump to Smackdown! And be a big fish in a little pond. And staying on RAW would be like swimming with the sharks! Here is your #1 Contender, Triple H!. Triple H then comes to the ring and says that Bischoff forget to say why Undertaker and Brock Lesnar had to leave the sharks.

Brock Lesnar knew he couldn't hang in the ring with The Game. Hell, Lesnar shouldn't even be able to say Triple H's name. So when Triple H became the #1 Contender, Lesnar put his tail between his legs and ran. It turns out the Next Big Thing has no balls. :lmao Eric says that if he signed Triple H to Nitro, then the outcome of the Monday Night Wars would have been different. SWERVE! Bischoff opens his briefcase and takes out the old WCW Heavyweight Title and reminds us that Triple H was the last man to wear that Title belt. And now, Triple H is once again the Heavyweight Champion of the World! Triple H accepts the belt and celebrates. Triple H gets on the mic again and says that most people who say they didn't deserve this, but he's not most people, and says nobody deserves to be World's champion more than him! He then says that Bischoff is a good judge of talent, and definitely a better judge than his ex-wife. Suddenly, Ric Flair's music hits and he comes to the ring. Ric agrees that RAW deserves to have its own World champion and goes as far as to say that Triple H is the man, and has no problem with that. But Triple H has worn that belt once; Flair has worn it sixteen times. And he didn't have it gift-wrapped and handed to him. He earned it by busting his ass in this ring. So if Triple H wants the right to wear that belt, he should have to leave this building having won it. Bischoff says that for the first time, he and Flair completely agree. Eric makes the match for the main event TONIGHT! Triple H will take on Ric Flair for the World Title! Triple H says it would be an honor to wrestle Flair in the main event, and Ric says that he's the luckiest man to be the RAW title's first contender. Ric reaches his hand out to Triple H, but Triple H decides to shake Eric Bischoff's hand instead and smashes Ric Flair in the head with the microphone.

Backstage, Triple H is walks backstage with his new World title belt and Johnny the Bull & Steven Richards congratulates him. He then bumps into Bubba Dudley and Triple H asks if Bubba has a problem? Bubba says he doe, so Triple H claims that he is jealous of him. When you're as good as The Game, you get used to seeing jealous expressions in the halls. But unlike Brock Lesnar, he is going to give everyone a chance. So he'll get his shot he just has to wait in line. Bubba says that the Undisputed Title was everything, and then it went exclusive to Smackdown! And that that NEW RAW title is their salvation. He has the hunger that every guy in this arena has. The hunger and drive that sustains him, with the knowledge that if he works hard enough, he can stand as the World Champion. And if Triple H doesn't stop giving everyone that smug look, a guy like himself might come and smack it off.

Earlier today, Chris Nowinski cut a promo saying he'll send Bubba and Trish bursting through a table tonight, and will celebrate by bursting through something else. :adr: And by something else, he means Molly's hymen.

Intergender - Tables Match: Chris Nowinski & Molly Holly vs. Bubba Ray Dudley & Trish Stratus
You must put both of the opposing wrestlers through tables to win. Standard stuff here we've seen it for the past month and a half but now the added tables to the match. MEHH! Chris leaps off, Trish moves, sending Nowinski through the table outside the ring then Bubba follows up by slamming Molly through a table inside the ring to win the match. *1/2

In the back, The Coach says that even though the Tag Titles aren't on the line in their handicap match against Kane, Christian and Storm have something else on the line: pride. Christian laughs about an American talking about pride. Christian then says they were all set to burn the flag when Kane ruined everything. And they'll take great pride in beating Kane. Storm says that they're not the bad guys; they point out flaws in the system so it can change. Take Labour Day: a celebration of labour, performed by the fattest, laziest people in the world. How do you think a kid overseas working for 40 cents an hour to make our sneakers feels? :lmao Test comes in and says that they are gonna finish what they started last week.

Bischoff has Stacy and Terri in his office, both in robes. He thanks them for agreeing to be part of history tonight: Eric Bischoff's First-Ever Lingerie and Pillow Fight Match! Bischoff says that if this was about "assets" Stacy would win, but if it were about "pillows" Terri would be the winner. And that's what makes this so great. Stacy gets upset and says that at least her pillows are 100% natural. :lmao

Jericho approaches Flair and wonders what the hell Bischoff was thinking when he gave the first Title shot to an over-the-hill has-been. Flair says Bischoff was probably watching when this has-been made Jericho tap out to the Figure Four. Jericho says that now that he thinks about it, he hopes Flair does win tonight. Because he and Flair are going to have a rematch, and if Flair wins tonight, then after Jericho beats the hell out of him and take his title.

Booker T vs. William Regal
3 minutes of AWESOMENESS! Regal working the violent euro style with strikes and Booker was bumping like a champ for it; he even had a very Booker 2002/02 energetic comeback. Booker wins with the scissors kick. Post-Match: Booker gets on the mic and says that he's not done until he gives everyone what they came to see: the Spinaroonie. **1/2

Before the interview, we get a recap of the Michaels vs. Triple H match at SummerSlam. Shawn appears on the big screen sitting in a wheel chair, JR asks what his condition is. Michaels says he's not a doctor so he can't say for sure. He knows that he has feelings in his legs, but his mobility isn't what it was before the match. But he's going to work and do the rehab and eventually he'll be back and able to walk again. Lawler asks Shawn if it was worth it. Michaels says he's thought about that this week and he had to ask himself if the match was good enough to fulfil him and would it be good enough for the fans to remember him as the ShowStopper. Having seen it again on tape, he knows that it was worth it. He thanks God for giving him the opportunity to perform one last time. He reminds himself that it wasn't the match that put him in the chair; it was Triple H hitting him with a sledgehammer after the match. JR asks if Shawn has anything to say to Triple H. Michaels says that if anyone in the WWE knows him, it is Triple H, or at least he thought that. Shawn ends by telling Triple H "Don't hunt what you can't kill!" With this he picks up a sledgehammer of his own and says this is definitely going to come around again.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Ric Flair vs. Triple H
They worked the Top Wrestler vs. Old Veteran that still has some tricks up his sleeve story. This wasn't as good as the 2003 Raw match in charlotte and it doesn't even touch the two 2005 matches, but considering where both men were at this point with Flair in "0 confidence" and HHH in "Not giving a fuck" mode, but it was really enjoyable. I liked Triple H working on Flair's legs to show him that he's NOW the man and being so cocky that he wanted to beat him with his own move the figure-four. But late in the match during Flairs comeback they both completely forgot about the leg as Hunter just forgot to attack it and Flair just no-sold it. And he began to work on the knees himself, then the match began to break down again and both men totally forgot about the knees :lmao Anyway the match ends when Triple H hits a quick low blow before the ref can climb back into the ring and finishes it with a Pedigree for the win. Post-Match: Jericho runs down and puts Flair in the Walls of Jericho, as Triple H leaves. RVD runs down, knocking Hunter down in his path. He attacks Jericho, and Triple H comes back down to get some revenge on RVD only for RVD to kick him out of the ring as well! **3/4

Bischoff tells Show to calm down and trust him. Show says that he's not going to trust Bischoff, after Bischoff got him attacked by Rosie and Jamal. And he's not going to calm down, after Bischoff went out and just gave a Title to Triple H. If Bischoff wants to be on Show's good side, he can give him the #1 Contender slot. Eric tells Big Show to prove that he deserves a #1 contender fighting Tommy Dreamer. Big Show leaves and Eric's phone rings. Bischoff is pissed off to hear that a member of Raw is going to leave tonight and go to Smackdown to join a family member.

The Un-Americans (Christian & Lance Storm) vs. Kane
JR suggests maybe it is Kane who will joining Smackdown! to be with his brother. This was short and fun, both men bump around for KANE's offense in the early part but then was able to gain control as the numbers were too much and they began the heat-segment which was really solid and put together, it was the same formula they did at the SummerSlam just without the false hot tag. The match ends when Kane starts his comeback after the Storm and Christian begin to get cocky which allows Kane sidesteps a double team and Storm Superkicks Christian out of the ring. He Chokeslams Storm for the win. Post-Match: Test runs down with the flag and the blowtorch. He delivers a Big Boot to Kane. Test lights the torch and is about to burn the flag when Bradshaw hits the ring and takes out Test. **1/4

Big Show vs. Tommy Dreamer
This was basically am angle advancement match here where all show wanted to do was send a message by destroying Dreamer so it pretty much sucked. The match ends when Show grabs a chair, but hears the referee's count loud and clear. Show gets in the ring, as does Tommy with the chair. Tommy nails Show in the back with the chair, causing the DQ. Tommy nails Show with the chair again, then in the face and again in the face! Show falls to the mat, but Dreamer keeps nailing him with the chair. 3/4*

In the back, Triple H demands a match with Rob Van Dam in a match tonight. Bischoff says RVD has Jericho tonight and that's that. Triple H says that he's the franchise player here, and if Bischoff wants to keep him, he better get RVD tonight. Jericho comes out of his dressing room and claims that his match is set. As for Triple H being "the man", Jericho reminds him that he beat two men in one night to win the belt, and didn't just get it in some ceremony. Jericho steps in and demands his IC title shot against Van Dam. Eric makes a tag match with Flair/RVD vs. Jericho/HHH.

Jeff Hardy & Crash Holly come out for their match, but Bischoff interupts them, he says he knows Jeff Hardy was planning on jumping ship to get revenge on Matt, but a little notice would have been nice. Like, three minutes’ notice. Rosey & Jamal jump Jeff Hardy from behind as one goes up top; Bischoff says that this is what will happen whenever anyone wants to leave Raw. Flying splash to Jeff. Crash takes the mic from Bischoff and says that it's not Jeff who is leaving; it's Crash! Crash runs to the back and Bischoff looks at what he did to Jeff.

Lingerie Pillow Fight: Terri vs. Stacy Keibler
SHIT GOT REAL!

Chris Jericho & Triple H vs. Rob Van Dam & Ric Flair
Jericho and HHH using short-cuts and cheap heel tactic to control the match is a total WIN! They also mixed in aggression and beat the shit out of RVD who was in bumping mode here during the heat-segment. At one point in the match, Jericho nails RVD with a chair from the outside which allows Triple H covers but RVD kicks out Jericho tags in and goes for the Walls on Jericho on RVD, but Flair comes in and chops Jericho, causing him to break the hold. The match would end minutes later when Flair puts the figure four on Jericho outside the ring and Triple H brings the title belt into the ring, but RVD kicked it in his face and hits the Frog Splash for the win. OH SHIT! RVD holds up the World & IC title after the match. **3/4 - ***

WWE Champion: Brock Lesnar
WWE Women's Champion: Molly Holly
WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Jamie Noble

Rey Mysterio vs. Billy Gunn (w/ Rico & Chuck)
Rey tires tis hardest to work with this sack of shit but Billy is so bad that he makes Rey look bad. Billy's heat was boring and slow but I guess that's what he was going for to stop the quicker Rey and to keep him grounded, Rey's mini-flurries were great too and the crowd really became alive when he started busting out hit moves. The match ends when Rey hits a flash Victory Roll out of nowhere. Post-Match: Rico gets in the ring to console Billy on his loss. Rico says that after tonight this will be the greatest moment of his life. Rico says Chuck has something to say. Rico says now is the time. Chuck takes the mic and is interrupted by Rico. Rico says that he wants Chuck to dig deep in his tights and pull out love? Chuck digs in his pants and pulls out a box. Rico tells Chuck to get on one knee. Chuck tells Billy they have been partners in the ring for a long time, but now he wants to know if Billy will be his partner for life. Billy says YES!!!! Chuck puts the ring on Billy's finger and they celebrate with a hug!! **

WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Jamie Noble (w/ Nidia) vs. Shannon Moore
MOORE FUCKIN' SUCKS! AHHHHHHHHH! I HATE THIS GUY SO MUCH. Knoble same like Rey does the best he can with this sack of shit. Knoble's heat segment was solid and was the most enjoyable time in the match as Moore just bumped for him. The match would end when Moore jumps off the top rope and Noble counters with a power bomb. He then picks Moore up again and delivers a sit out tiger-bomb AKA Gibson Driver. **1/4

Backstage, Paul pleads with Brock to not take Randy Orton lightly tonight. Heyman then says he and Randy came up in the same developmental system and Orton is a 3rd generation wrestler and he know BROCK! More than anyone. Randy Orton steps in and says Brock should listen to his agent, Randy says that he's respects Brock, but doesn't sweat him. Lesnar says he will be.

Edge walks backstage and runs into Rikishi and asks Rikishi if he's gonna back that ass up tonight? Edge says that the stinkface is one of the funniest things he's ever seen! Rikishi says that the stinkface wasn't supposed to be funny. He says it’s the ass of life, and it stinks. People like him have been getting it for a while, so every now of then, when he wants his opponent to feel what he feels, he gives them a piece of the Kish.

Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) vs. Randy Orton
FUCKIN' AWESOME mini-squash, Orton taking the fight to Brock early was great but Brock just stuffs him with a sweet bell-to-belly. He then throws Orton over the ropes and chest first into the ring post. Brock's killing him with offense was the most brutal and prettiest thing I've ever seen at one point Brock whips Orton into the corner and goes charging in but Orton puts the boot up and Brock catches it and delivers this ridiculous clothesline which almost kills him again. My only complain about the match was during Orton’s belief comeback he should of sold the beating more. The match ends when Orton goes up top and does the Crossbody, but Brock rolls through and up to his feet and hits the F-5 for the win. **3/4

Billy and Chuck are backstage; Mark Henry comes up and congratulates them on their "engagement."

In Steph’s office, Crash Holly signs his contract and thanks Steph. Steph thanks Crash for humiliating Bischoff and wishes him good luck. Crash leaves. Reverend D-Von walks in and is steamed about the Chuck and Billy goings-on. D-Von says it’s immoral, and Steph says that’s too bad because Billy and Chuck already asked to have the commitment ceremony next week, right there on Smackdown. D-Von says last time he checked, the bible said "Adam & Eve" not "Adam & Steve"! She then tells D-Von to lower his tone with her and should stop worrying about other people and start worrying about Batista.

Mark Henry vs. Tajiri
Short but sweet, Mark used his power to dominate and Tajiri used kicks to keep Mark away while he could. The counter out of the Tarantula was great too; man I wish this gets a rematch with more time again. Mark wins with a running powerslam. **1/2

Stephanie is conducting the interview between Taker and Lesnar. Steph opens up with a speech, and asks Brock to speak first, Brock says he doesn't have a whole lot to say, that he usually lets his actions speak for him. Starting back to his amateur run and lists his accomplishments. then talks about winning King of the Ring, a year after his wrestling debut. Brock mentions how he crucified Hulk Hogan, whipping the blood of Hulkamania across his chest and recaps beating the Rock at Summerslam for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship. Lesnar says that he brutalized Orton without breaking a sweat. Lesnar brags that he is only 25, the youngest WWE Champion in history! Brock asks Undertaker how old HE is. Taker chuckles and says he has seen Lesnar's look before because he thinks he is on top of the world. Taker says that his experience is better than Lesnar's youth. Taker says that he recognises the look in Brock's eyes, and that he's seen that look many times in the past. He says Lesnar brags about wiping Hogan’s blood on his chest, and then asks if he’s ever wiped his own blood from his eyes. Ever felt for ribs poking where they shouldn’t, ever had to actually figure out how to win. No, he hasn’t, taker says he is gonna take Lesnar to somewhere he has never been. Taker talks about everything Brock HASN'T done and that Brock hasn't been beaten yet, but he is going to do it! Taker says that if Brock survives that, then he'll have something to brag about. Now Heyman asks if he’s done and mockingly claps. Heyman says that Lesnar is focused but Taker is distracted by his family situation. Stephanie says that this isn't about family. But Heyman begs to differ. While Brock trains only for the title, Undertaker has to tend to his pregnant wife Sara at home. Taker says to watch where he’s going with this. Heyman says that if anything happens to him at Unforgiven, Heyman would be more than happy to take care of the lovely Sara, but refuses to take care of the unborn child. Taker stands up, and Brock throws the table out of the way, stopping Taker. The two stare each other down. AWESOME!

Reverend D-Von vs. Batista
SQUASH!

Backstage, Matt Hardy shows Shannon Moore clips from last week of him on offense on Brock, and brags about going toe to toe with the Undisputed Champion. He says if Moore follows his advice, he may one day possess the “Mattributes†to be a success. :lmoa Hardcore Holly comes up and says that Hardy left out the part where Lesnar F-5ed him. Hardy says that Holly is jealous that his star isn't shining as bright as his.

Nidia says Billy & Chuck have got her thinking, and asks Jamie Noble if they will get married. Noble hugs her and says they’ll have the best wedding in the trailer park but looks horrified while he hugs her.

In the back, Kurt and Eddie talk and Guerrero asks what Angle could get for his gold medals at a pawn shop. Angle says take it easy homes. Eddie says no, he was robbed out of his title shot last week by Rikishi and should be #1 Contender. Angle says he would be #1 Contender and calls Eddie “Cheech†and says that his “amigo†Chris Benoit is the one who got pinned last week, not Angle’s Olympic shoulders. Angle starts calling Benoit the Rabid Puppy Dog and the Rabid Chihuahua and Guerrero notices Benoit over Angle’s shoulder. He and Benoit start laughing, then Benoit gets in Angle’s face and Guerrero breaks them up.

Matt Hardy vs. Hardcore Holly
Matt is in the same homeless bum look he would bring back in 2005 when he feuded with Edge. Matt is good here really showing that he's in the top 5 wrestlers in the company that know how to throw sweet punches and he looks very mid-card ready, but as for Bob he was trash like normal. He FAKE! Tough guy role is awful but he was above his normal shittyness in this. Holly wins when Holly, reverses a rollup by Hardy with the tights but Bob again reverses it to another rollup. *1/2

Backstage, Smackdown’s #1 Announcer Funaki who is wearing a “Smackdown #1 Announcer.†T-shirt asks Rico about the wedding next week. Rico says that people won’t believe what they’re going to see. Rico says that he’s not only planning the event, but he’ll be the best man for both of them and walks off. Funaki looks confused.

The Hurricane vs. Crash Holly
I actually didn't watch this, so i have no idea if good or not.

Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero vs. Edge, Rikishi and The Undertaker
Taker and Kurt start and they have a really fun back-and-forth couple of minutes, and Benoit gets the tag Benoit/Taker :( was electric but short, dammit I want more. Rikishi is garbage in this he can only his trademark moves and it doesn't look good at all. Thankfully Edge takes the heat-segment in the match Eddie, Benoit and Kurt just beat the shit out of him with strikes and suplexes/backbreakers. The GOAT team even got quick tags in to show unity. The cut off hot-tag to Rikishi, just to give it to taker instead was AMAZING! Taker's hot tagged ruled too, but Eddie stops with a low-blow and Benoit hits him with a German. Late in the match Rikishi gives Angle the stink face, Benoit flings Rikishi into the ring post. And Benoit laughs about with. Angle and Benoit start a small scuffle. Guerrero tries to break it up but is pushed aside by Benoit. Angle and Benoit begin to fight. Angle sling shots Benoit into the steel steps outside the ring. Guerrero is left alone with the three faces. The look on his face when he turns around is priceless. Guerrero tries to make peace but gets slugged around. Spear by Edge, Stink Face by Rikishi and chokeslam by Undertaker finishes the match. ***

WWE Tag Team Championship: The Un-Americans vs. Kane & Bradshaw
Storm and Christian work best when they are either beating up talented baby-faced who can bump well and understand the basic yet really stable tag formula. Or when Storm & Christian bump around for 2 big men and made their offense look great and this was the match with option two. But this wasn’t all Kane and Bradshaw as, the heel would eventually get on the heat-segment on Kane which was really good and Kane sold it well and surprisingly Bradshaw’s hot tag was really good too he really bought the goodness here that he would again later find in 2004. The match ends when Storm goes up top for a flying dropkick, but Kane sidesteps and Storm nails the ref. Test runs down and Big Boots Kane. Bradshaw comes in and gives Test the Clothesline from Hell, but William Regal sneaks in and nails Bradshaw with the brass knuckles, and Christian covers for the win. **3/4

In The Ring, Eric Bischoff says that he hears that some RAW superstars were upset that Triple H was given the World Championship. So tonight's Main Event will be a Fatal Four way Elimination Match to determine the #1 Contender. Chris Jericho vs. Jeff Hardy vs. The Big Show vs. Rob Van Dam. The winner will get a World Title shot at Unforgiven. He then turns his attention and complains about the mainstream media covering Smackdown!'s “commitment ceremony” Bischoff calls it a publicity stunt. The New York Times, Variety, the New York Post are all writing about Chuck and Billy and Smackdown. But Raw has a commitment too: providing quality to each and every fan. If Stephanie is going to have a same-sex controversy, Bischoff is going to do her one better. For the first time in the history of this company, some beautiful women are going to take part in some H.L.A. Eric clarifies that HLA stands for "Hot Lesbian Action"

Backstage, Terri asks Jericho about the four-way for the #1 Contendership, Jericho says he was a chance to be the #1 Contender to Triple H's World Title. The same Triple H who changed his Title shot against Rob Van Dam. The same Triple H who was handed the Title. But Jericho has a plan to bring the Title back where it belongs: across his beautiful waist.

Coach asks who Triple H would prefer to wrestle at Unforgiven then asks Triple H if he doesn't want RVD to win, seeing as Van Dam pinned him last week. Triple H asks if he's supposed to fear RVD just because he got lucky last week. He doesn't care who it is. Bubba comes up and asks Triple H about his match tonight with Spike Dudley? He then suggests Triple H afraid to face him but he heard a Dudley issued a challenge, so he figures it was the most competitive one: Spike. Bubba says that he has a match with Steven Richards tonight, he's going to... Suddenly Bubba is attacked from behind, sending him into a cement wall! Stevie tells Bubba to stop worrying about the Champ, and start worrying about Steven Richards.

Trish and Terri are walking backstage; they see a door marked "LESBIANS."

Steven Richards vs. Bubba Ray Dudley
This was a Bubba SQUASH! Match whom is weird to see, but he got all his shit in Richards got a small bit of offense in. The match did nothing for me. NEXT! *1/2

Trish Stratus & Terri vs. Stacy Keibler & Victoria
Jerry Lawler keeps expecting "hot lesbian action" to break out during the match! Terri hits Stacy with a crossbody from the top rope for the win. The Trish/Victoria stuff was fun; I was kinda upset Victoria didn’t FAKE an INJURY AGAIN.

In the back, Regal is now wearing a Un-Americans shirt, and Nowinski asks why. Regal says that he's been an Un-American since he first joined the WWE. Nowinksi accepts Regal's decision and says he's gonna get ready for some Hot Lesbian Action. Regal smacks him and says he's the smartest man here, and all he can think of is lesbians and rogering Molly Holly? He's a Harvard graduate, and it's time he acted like one.

Chris Nowinski comes down to the ring and gets on the mic, he says a friend of his just made him realize that Iowa State is being graced by a Harvard graduate. Nowinski says Iowa State isn't really an institute of higher learning; they're about one yard short, a reference to their loss to Florida State. But there are a lot of similarities. Harvard has Rhodes Scholars; Iowa State has dirt roads. At Harvard, they have a saying: “it's alright, it's okay, and you’ll all work for us someday” he then says another line “5, 10, 15 bucks we’ll own the company, you drive the trucks”:lmao Tommy Dreamer interrupts in an Iowa State shirt, holding two Singapore canes. ! Tommy then says Roses are red, violets are lame, and why don't I beat you, with my Singapore canes? Nowinski suggests Dreamer drop the canes and fight him like a man Dreamer hits the ring and spinebusters, Nowinski down then hits a neckbreaker. Nowinski slides out of the ring and nails Dreamer with the cane. He ducks the second and hits a Russian legsweep. As they go back into the ring Tommy nails Nowinski with a new cane, then pulls his shirt up and canes him across the back.

Spike leaves his dressing room and passes two women. They ask if he knows who they are. They're the lesbians. They wish Spike luck, and then ask for some of their own. Spike asks what they need luck for. For Hot Lesbian Action, of course.

Triple H vs. Spike Dudley
Triple H showing flashes of his AWESOMENESS! Here as he pretty much carried all of this, I loved his asshole taking Spike lightly at the start of the match just to have Spike get some moves in and have quite a few really good near-falls in. This was also one of the times when he really wanted to impress Flair and show him “Hey I’m just like you” he bumped like Flair would cheap heel tactics that you would of seen Flair do on Nitro. The match ends when Triple H Pedigrees him, but he rests instead of pinning. Triple H smacks Spike around to try and revive him. He then pushes the ref away, allowing Spike to lowblow Triple H. Dudley Dog by Spike 1-2-foot on the ropes. AWESOME NEAR-FALL! Spike then tries another Dudley Drop, but Triple H pushes him into the turnbuckle and locks in a sleeper. The ref checks on Spike and, finding him unconscious, calls for the bell. Triple H won with a sleeper. Post-Match: Spike falls to the mat and Triple H kicks him repeatedly; Bubba runs down to make the save and they have a stare down. **3/4

Backstage, Coach asks Jeff Hardy about his opportunity to become the #1 Contender to the World Title. Jeff says that it has been his dream since he was a kid to be World Champion. But he's afraid he's not at 100% tonight. He sees Bischoff and walks over to him. Bischoff apologizes for the whole Rosie and Jamal attack, but he put Jeff in this match to make up for it. Jeff takes offense, saying he earned his way into this match. He was *this* close being the World Champ against the Undertaker in the ladder match. He has obsessed over that every day, and now, he's going to make up for it. eff warns Eric not to try any of that "Rosey & Jamal" crap again or he'll show him the true meaning of extreme.

Jericho leaves the room telling Big Show to "think about it” Johnny the Bull asks what that was about. Show says Jericho wants them to team up tonight and increase their odds of being #1 Contender. Johnny says Show should listen to him, but Show chokes him and tells him to shut up and to mind his own business. :lmao

Coach asks Booker T about William Regal joining the Un-Americans, Booker talks about what makes this country great. Goldust comes up in a Kane mask, saying that what makes his country great is being able to team up with a man like Goldust. Goldust shakes and says that Kane just kinda snuck up one him there. Bradshaw steps in and tells Booker T & Goldust that their match is very important, Bradshaw asks "Who wants to watch some HOT LESBIAN ACTION?!" Kane raises his hand and says "I do!" :lmao Booker says this is what makes this country great. Only in America can you get a beer-drinking Texan, a big red freak, a gold freak, and the five-time WCW Champion, all getting together to take in some hot lesbian action.

Booker T & Goldust vs. The Un-Americans (William Regal & Test)
Good when Booker, Goldust and Regal were in. Test now so much.

Eric Bischoff is in the ring after break he brings out two lesbians. Eric introduces the Lesbians to the audience; Eric says that as much fun as it would be for him, the people don't want to see them with him; they want to see them with each other, in some hot lesbian action. He then gets the crowd chanting for HLA! HLA! HLA! Bischoff asks if Jenny wants Tanya, which she does, and if Tanya wants Jenny. Tanya says her body aches all over for Jenny. Bischoff asks if Jenny wants to touch Tanya, which she does. Jenny rubs Tanya up and down, but Bischoff says you can't really feel her with that top on. Jenny takes Tanya's shirt off, and then her own. Bischoff asks if Jenny wants a handful on Tanya's tight, firm buttox. Jenny does, and then starts smacking Tanya's ass. Bischoff tells Jenny to take Tanya's skirt off, which she does, and then takes her own off as well. Bischoff asks for a warm hug, which they do, with lots of extra rubbing. Bischoff tells them to go for it, but to take it slow. Like a slow, warm, wet kiss. They appear to oblige, but we can't get a good look, but we do see Tanya attempting to take off Jenny's bra. Bischoff says that we've had plenty of sex, but not enough violence. And they've had lots of sex, but they've gone on about THREE MINUTES Too long without violence. Jenny and Tanya turn around to see Rose and Jamal. Jamal super kicks Jenny down and Rosie presses Tanya, then tossing her into Jamal's slam. They set Jenny and Tanya on top of each other, and Jamal goes up top for a flying splash on the lesbian sandwich. AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME!

Backstage, Taker arrives with his wife Sara who is pregnant.

Eddie Guerrero and Chavo Guerrero vs. Edge and John Cena
Guerrero’s beat the shit out of Cena & Edge Guerrero style, as both men got the heat-segment. Edge’s was longer and better as he was the all-round better wrestler at the time. Cena was still green around this time but showed flashes of really goodness. Chavo is just a watered down version of Eddie. But Edge & Eddie was just too good right now. Whenever they are in the ring together it’s just gold. The match would end when Chavo delivers a brain buster to Cena and Eddie hits a frog splash for the win. Post-Match: Edge and Chavo attempt a stick face on Edge but Edge counters and shoves Eddie into Chavo butt instead! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! ***

Backstage, Eddie yells at Chavo for “not whippingâ€

Marc Lloyd asks Taker about Taker bringing Sara to the arena for Smackdown. Undertaker says that Sara has family and family in Minneapolis. Matt Hardy congratulates Taker on soon becoming a father and he wants to congratulate the mother and tries to push his way into the locker room. Matt says that it would be great to have a 'little Undertaker' running around, and someday he'd like to have a 'little Matt Hardy' v2.0 walking around. Undertaker grabs Matt and says maybe we should have this conversation another time; he throws Matt across the hall and returns to his dressing room. Matt says that 'SOMEBODY needs a Mattitude adjustment'.

Rico is on the phone with the cake people saying he needs to grooms on top, he then goes in to see Steph and asks her to reconsider and attend the ceremony. She says that she has really bad luck at weddings of all types and she doesn't want to jinx it. Rico says it’s not ok, the flowers haven't arrived, the singers are stuck in traffic and the cake is screwed up. Rico says he needs a witness and can't find one. She said if he needs one for the ceremony to be legal then she would be honored to do it. Rico thanks her and leaves.

Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio
Rey used his lucha offense early on to piss off Kurt and get him out of his game; he even hit some wrestling moves on Kurt. But the best one was he slaps Kurt and runs away then he run into the ropes and does the 619 but as Kurt comes charging in he goes flying out. Thing settle down and Kurt challenges him to mat wrestler him and they do, Kurt obviously gets the better of this but Rey uses his quickness again to hit some AWESOME! Moves like he hit the double springboard , Kurt takes over when Rey tries a bulldog but Kurt counter into a German and Rey does the full flip landing on his mid-section and Kurt goes to work, with Rib breakers, backbreaker and a Belly-To-Belly. He then slows it down with rest-hold. But Rey fights out and tries an enziguri but Kurt ducks and hits two Germans. They then hit the move of the SHOW, WHEN REY COMES RUNNING IN BUT KURT THROWS HIM OVER HIS HEAD BUT REY LANDS ON HIT FUCKING FEET ON THE TOP TURN BUCKLE, HE THEN WAITS FOR TURN TO TURN AND ROUND AND HE HITS A MOONSAULT WITH REY’S KNEE HITTING KURT RIGHT IN THE FACE! They also had a great near-fall off the 619/West Coast Pop. The Match ends when Rey goes up top again looking for another high move but Kurt runs the ropes and hits a angle slam off the top for the win. ***1/4 - ***1/2

Backstage a limo pulls up and it's with the wedding party.

Chris Benoit vs. Rikishi
Benoit does what he can but it sucked, that time off Rikishi took from 2001 really killed how good he used to be. The match ends when Benoit gets on the top rope and attempts the head butt but Kurt Angle comes out and knocks him down. The bell sounds. Benoit falls into position for the stink face. Rikishi delivers as Angle hold Benoit's arms, preventing him from moving out of the way. *3/4

ii3.gif

Backstage, Benoit is MAD! And is talking to Stephanie about Kurt Angle. He demands a match with Kurt Angle at Unforgiven. Matt Hardy comes in and says he needs to talk to her. Stephanie says that at Unforgiven it will be Angle vs. Benoit. Benoit leaves. Matt Hardy demands a match with Taker. Stephanie says since he is so full of "Matt-itude" he can face Taker. Matt says that tonight he guarantees victory.

Billy and Chuck's music hits and Rico makes his way out to the ring. Rico shakes hands with the justice of the peace and comments that he is old. Rico complains about everything in the ring being wrong.

Stephanie comes down to the ring. Rico says tonight is a breakthrough for WWE and network TV, two men will boldly go where none have ever gone before. Rico signals for the singers to begin sing. Billy & Chuck are introduced and they come to the ring to "Raining Men" performed live HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! The justice of the peace begins the ceremony. He says that Chuck and Billy have written their own vows. Chuck says that when he first met Billy he knew he was a great tag team competitor and his name was Mr. Ass.. Chuck says Billy has captured something better than tag team gold, he has captured his heart. Billy looks up and says "Damn that was mushy!" and says "That's what I love about you" Billy puts a ring on Chuck's finger and says he wants him to be his tag team partner permanently. Rico shows a video about Billy and Chuck. The minister asks if anyone thinks Billy & Chuck should not commit to each other, to speak now. Suddenly the Godfather's music hits and out comes the Godfather with at least 10 whores. Godfather says that when he heard there was a party going on he knew that Minneapolis was the next stop for the “HO†train. Godfather says he likes how Rico dressed but he needs to stop this ceremony. Godfather asks Billy what happened and said Billy still has the pimp in him. And Chuck was one of the legendary skirt chasers a bad ass Palumbo brother. Godfather said Chuck liked the hefty ladies. Godfather asks what the hell is going on. Rico jumps in and says he will not allow this interruption. Rico says that no one wants to see the Godfather and his "good time girls." Rico tells him to leave. Godfather tells Rico that he doesn't know what he's missing by passing up the “HO†train. Rico tells them to go to the end of the ceremony. The Minister asks Billy if he pledges to commit to Chuck. Billy first looks nervous but eventually says "YES" The Minister asks Chuck the same thing and he looks at Rico, who encourages him to 'just say it' Chuck reluctantly says "YES" Billy and Chuck stop the ceremony. Chuck says it wasn't supposed to go this far, that it was only publicity stunt and that they are not gay. Billy says that this was only supposed to be a big publicity stunt. Rico says he knew that they would back out at the last second and that the whole idea was his and they were ruining it! The justice says that a commitment is a very special thing, Billy and Chuck's bond is sacred. The justice says it doesn't matter if it lasts 50 years, 16 months or 3 MINUTES! Suddenly the Minister's voice changes! "Did I just hear myself say... THREE MINUTES!?" The justice unveils himself as Eric Bischoff. Billy & Chuck attack a smiling Rico, but Jamal & Rosey hit the ring and Kill Billy & Chuck Bischoff even holds Stephanie McMahon in the corner so she can’t get away. Jamal & Rosey destroy the 'wedding' set then Jamal give Stephanie a Samoan drop! HOLY SHIT! Bischoff, Rico, Jamal & Rosey are chased from the ring by Edge, Cena & Rey Mysterio, Hurricane, D-Von, Shannon Moore Chavo & Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle checks on Stephanie.

Torrie Wilson vs. Nidia
Torrie is AWMAZINGLY HAWT!

azy.gif

The Undertaker vs. Matt Hardy (w/ Brock Lesnar & Paul Heyman)
Heyman tries to distract Undertaker before the match by throwing a chair into the ring but the referee takes it away; the referee gets fed up with Heyman and bans him from ringside! Suddenly Paul Heyman comes up on the big screen. Heyman enters the Undertaker's dressing room and harasses pregnant so Taker runs back stage and finds Heyman in the dressing room and he grabs Heyman by throat, but BROCK! Comes out of nowhere and smashes him in the head with a steel chair. He then turn super “CLB†and walks up to Sara puts his hand on the belly and says “LIFE’S A BITCH†and acts like he’s gonna hit here. WHAT?

I didn't catch the show cause the audio was all fucked up and Video quality sucked balls. Oh and the tape cut out before the main even. UGH!

Smackdown 09/19/2002
Colorado Springs, Colorado

WWE Champion: Brock Lesnar
WWE Women's Champion: Molly Holly
WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Jamie Noble

Rey Mysterio & Torrie Wilson vs. Jamie Noble & Nidia
Rey/Knoble interaction was GOLD, the divas’ not so much. The match only went around 3 minutes. At one point in the match Rey tries to give Nidia the Bronco Buster, but Torrie stops him and says she wants to do it! And she does. Jamie Noble pulls Nidia's body out of the ring and climbs in and lays in the corner, Jamie Noble tells Torrie that he wants a Bronco Buster too Instead, Rey jumps over Torrie and delivered a Bronco Buster to Noble :lmao Rey then finishes it with a Sunset flips into a powerbomb for the pin. **1/2

Backstage, Reverend D-Von is complaining to Stephanie about Batista, she tells D-Von that she wants Batista on Smackdown! And D-Von better do something to keep him here. D-Von leaves and Paul Heyman enters, and Stephanie asks what he wants. Heyman says he is worried about Brock Lesnar. He says he has hired off duty cops to protect Lesnar. Stephanie says that Sara went into false labour this morning and Undertaker went with her to the hospital. Steph tells Paul to keep his security handy; Paul leaves the room and tells Brock that the Undertaker is on his way.

Stephanie comes out to the ring, and gets on the mic. She says that he forgot that no one screws with a McMahon. She says she got even on Raw and she shows the footage of her attacking Bischoff with the aid of Billy and Chuck. She addresses the inter-promotional tag team challenge and the stipulation that went along with it. She accepts the match, but says they'll talk about the stipulations later. Stephanie then introduces the 'greatest tag team in WWE history', Billy & Chuck! HAHAHAHAHAHA:lmaoHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Billy tells Stephanie that they want to set the record straight, they want to take on Rosie and Jamal at Unforgiven. Billy says that he's thinking of being a singles wrestler after Unforgiven. Chuck takes the microphone and jokes that it's okay for Billy to go both ways. Everyone laughs at the gay joke. Billy says they can’t wait for their match and if Bischoff a problem with that, HE'S GOT TWOOOO WORDS FOR YA!!!! Suddenly, Kurt Angle's music hits and come out on the stage. He says that he feels like he's watching a bad episode of Three's Company, and that last week was the worst attempt at a publicity stunt he's ever seen. Kurt then says that he generated some of his own publicity at the 96 Olympics. Kurt says he didn't do it trying to make out with Carl Lewis! He did it by winning a gold medal! Chuck asks what Angle thinks the people mean when they chant "You Suck!" Angle says he isn't gay. Angle says gay people love him and everyone loves him and he is adorable. Angle issues a challenge for one of them to face him in a match tonight to see which one of them sucks. Steph says that she wants Billy & Chuck to wrestle a tag match tonight to get ready for this Sunday. Kurt says he has no problem with that and says he'll let "Will & Grace down there" pick his partner. Stephanie says that Angle will team with Benoit. Kurt complains about that decision and says that "That's a hard one to swallow!":lmao Kurt says that he wants to be the one to "Climb on top of Billy or Chuck for the 1-2-3!" :lmao Kurt stumbles over his words a few more times before leaving the stage.

Heyman, BROCK! And the guards are walking around. Heyman leaves the guards at the arena entrance since they can't come down to the ring with them.

Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman) vs. John Cena
FUCK YEAH! Brock squashing two of the biggest future stars in back-to-back weeks. This wasn't as good as the Orton match a week prior but still really damn good. Brock pretty much threw Cena around on the level that he did back at ER 2012 just not as violent. The match ends when Lesnar blocks Cena's crucifix and counters with a F-5. **3/4

Backstage, Eddie and Chavo Guerrero are getting ready for their match. Eddie is still complaining about getting the stink face last week. Eddie promises that after tonight Edge's face will never be the same.

Eddie Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero vs. Edge & Rikishi
Edge, and the Guerreros’ are great in this, but Rikishi is just a waste. Rikishi got way too much offense in but thankfully the Guerreros’ made his shit look good. The match ends when Chavo hits Rikishi in the head with a TV camera while Edge and Eddie go at it outside the ring. Chavo covers Rikishi for the win. Post-Match: Edge runs in and hits Chavo with a spear, but Eddie runs in with a steel chair and destroys Edge's face with a nasty chair shot. Edge is busted open and Eddie gets down and picks up Edge's bloody head and screams at him! **1/2 - **3/4

Stephanie asks how Eric's "Bischoffs" are doing. Bischoff says he wonders what it like when the McMahon family sees Stephanie performing HLA. Steph says that HLA is all about cheap, sleezy thrills and Eric says he'll give Steph cheap sleazy thrills this Sunday at Unforgiven when his team beats her team and she has to perform HLA. Steph accepts the stipulations that Eric Bischoff except for one thing. When Billy & Chuck defeat Rosey & Jamal and Eric has to kiss Steph's ass. Steph says that if Rosey & Jamal win, and she has to perform HLA, she just might like it.

Matt Hardy vs. The Hurricane
Matt debuts the " I CAN SLAP A TORNADO~!" theme but it's not the V1 tron. Matt gets on the mic and says that Hurricane is probably wondering why he asked for this match. Matt says he considers Hurricane a friend so he wants to give Hurricane the privilege of stepping into the ring with someone who beat the Undertaker. The crowd chants "We Want Jeff!" and "We Want Lita!" This was really fun for what it was, they used a lot of their big offensive moves and told a really good story of how well these two know eachother so they knew what the other was gonna do before he did it. So that forced the other to bring something new out. The match ends when the ref turns away and Matt delivers a low blow to Hurricane. Matt hits the twist of fate and he covers Hurricane for the win. **3/4

Backstage, Heyman is pleading with Brock to leave the arena because the Undertaker is waiting. Heyman realizes that Taker is probably in the parking lot so they decided to stay in the dressing room. Paul & Brock sit back down to wait it out.

Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle vs. Billy & Chuck
Leave it to Benoit & Kurt to give the world’s shittiest tag team their best tag match to date. The heat-segment on Gunn was brutal as fuck as they play the "Whatever you can do I can do something different and more violent", and to his credit Billy sold everything like a champ. Chuck's hot tag was respectable for what it was, the match ends when Chuck goes for a super kick but angle counter and puts him in the ankle lock. Benoit breaks it up and throws angle out of the ring. Benoit locks in the cross face on Chuck and Billy breaks it up. Benoit gets back in the ring and Chuck hits him with this sweet Superkick for the win. SWERVE! Post-Match: Angle delivers the Angle slam to Benoit then puts him in the ankle lock. Benoit taps.. Benoit reverses and puts Angle in the cross face. Angle taps. *** - ***1/4

The Undertaker enters the building.

Undertaker comes out to the ring. He calls out Lesnar for what he did last week with taunting his unborn child and saying life's a bitch. Undertaker says that he is here to say that "Payback's a bitch!" Brock Lesnar comes out with Paul Heyman, who is trying to hold Lesnar back Lesnar walks down to the ring. Lesnar shoves Heyman out of the way and gets in the ring with Taker. Lesnar rams his shoulders into Taker. Taker turns it around and uses Heyman as a punching bag. Matt Hardy comes down to the ring. Taker beats on Hardy. Hardy gets back up and attacks the Undertaker so Heyman and Lesnar can leave. Undertaker turns his attention to Matt and beats him down; Undertaker leaves the ring and goes backstage to hunt for Lesnar. Heyman commands Taker to stop and says BROCK HAS BEEN TAKEN INTO PROTECTIVE CUSTODY! :lmao Heyman & Lesnar get into a police vehicle and drive off as Undertaker watches.

WWE Champion: Brock Lesnar
WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Triple H
WWE Intercontinental Champion: Chris Jericho
WWE Tag Team Champions: The Un-Americans
WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Jamie Noble
WWE Women's Champion: Molly Holly

The Un-Americans (Christian, Lance Storm, William Regal & Test) vs. Booker T, Goldust, Bubba Ray Dudley & Kane
The crowd was hot for the whole match. And that really made this fun for the 9 minute it was given, at one point in time everyone got a moment to shine. But it wasn't all perfect as there was some awfully blown spots and terrible sloppy moments. The heat-Segment on Booker was good when Christian and Storm was doing the work but for some reason, Regal was the Regal we all love he just seemed off his game at times. He even wore a t-shirt for the whole match, Test is garbage. Kane's hot tag was fun. The match ends when Kane blocks another superkick and chokeslams Storm for the win. **3/4

Backstage, Stephanie McMahon is talking with Billy and Chuck, as she says their win is for Smackdown. Chuck assures that they will win and Bischoff will kiss her ass.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Ric Flair
There was really nothing exceptional about this match, it had some good back-and-forth action and that was okay. The match ends when Jericho did a lionsault, and landed on his feet and FAKED! a knee injury. Jericho locks in the Walls and Flair taps. **1/4

We see Eric Bischoff and 3 Minute Warning getting ready for their match, and Bischoff says they are representing him and tells them that Rico will be in their corner.

Edge vs. Eddie Guerrero
Fuck yeah this rules, Edge comes out super strong and just trying to get revenge for the concussion Eddie gave him on Smackdown, but Eddie took everything Edge threw at him and took over with a AWESOME! Leaping of the middle buckle for a Tornado DDT and then begins working on the head with violent, yet simple head submissions and strikes. Edge's selling was great, he really took what Eddie was dishing out and made it look ten times more brutal. I loved the way Edge got his comeback in as Eddie, started getting too cocky and allowed the opening for some quick roll-ups but that only gets a two. They do this AWESOME! Sequence late in the match when Eddie loosens the turnbuckle pad, so the ref calls him on it. This allows Edge to schoolboys Eddie for two, Eddie runs up the ropes and goes for a huracanrana, but Edge counters to a powerbomb! The match ends when Edge sets up for the superplex, but Eddie slams his face into the exposed turnbuckle and finishes with his SICK sunset flip bomb, and when i mean sick the sound that Edge's head hit the mat. WOW! ****

Backstage, Triple H enters the Raw face locker-room to see RVD. Hunter claims that RVD doesn't have any passion which will keep him from ever winning the World Title. He then points to Ric Flair, saying he used to have that desire but not anymore. He calls Flair a loser and RVD says he rather associate himself with Flair than HHH any day.

Three-Minute Warning (w/Rico) vs. Billy & Chuck
3 Minute warning doesn't have the GOAT theme yet, it's this AWFUL generic "Samoan" music with the intro of Eric saying "Did I just hear myself say, you have 3 minutes" If i was booking this would have only been 3 minutes long, cause that's their gimmick and Billy & Chuck would not of gotten the amount of offense in. Rosey is pretty average, Jamal showed he was better than him but not on the Umaga level yet and Billy & Chuck still suck. The match ends when Jamal hits a Samoan Drop for the win. *1/2

Jonathan Coachman interviews Eric Bischoff, who says he knew 3MW would come through and laughs at what Stephanie has to do tonight.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Triple H vs. Rob Van Dam
The chain/mat wrestling at the start was hilarious as it looked awkward as fuck, that had to of been HHH's idea. Lawler asking if RVD's dad was jean claude van damme :lmao RVD imitates Hunter's water spitting gimmick was the best thing about the match, I liked that they told a story with whatever Triple H tried to do in the early portion RVD would counter it into a headlock to further piss off Triple H. Things begin to pick up and Triple looks sloppy as fuck in transactions, he fucks up a jacknife pins counter, a bridge up and even the backslide. Triple H rolls out and RVD tries a Flip Senton plancha, but Triple H smartly moves out of the way and RVD takes a nasty bump on the floor. The splat sound was sickening. This allows Triple H to take over but he really doesn't work the back it's mainly punches and kicks as RVD has a couple of mini-comebacks which ruled. Late in the match he ref gets bumped, so he’s unable to count when Rob hits the Five-Star Frogsplash. Hunter grabs the sledgehammer, but Van Dam kicks it back in his face. Ric Flair runs down and grabs the sledgehammer. And SWERVES! US ALL and hits RVD with the sledgehammer. Hunter looks on confused but he gets up and hits a Pedigree for the win. **1/2 - **3/4

WWE Women's Championship: Molly Holly vs. Trish Stratus
5 minutes of nothingness. Molly dominated the majority of the match, showing how what a good wrestler she is. And Trish hit a Bulldog for the win. *

In the back, we see 3 Minute Warning and Rico celebrating with several ladies as Eric Bischoff says he couldn’t have done it without them.

Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit
Both were heels going into the match, but Kurt was the bigger heel. Both men brought everything they had to the table and delivered a 14 minutes wrestling clinic. And the given was perfect, hell it's quite the forgotten match. This puts all their other match prior to this to shame but the silly and crazy thing is they would out-do themselves in 4 months’ time at the 2003 Royal Rumble. The match starts with this collar/elbow tie-up which sends both men outside of the ring, then they run back in the ring and go at it again, but this time it's AWESOME! Mat wrestling that makes RVD/HHH's look like one month rookies. The match was really back-and-forth with neither guy getting an advantage for anything longer than a minute. They also worked the story that both men knew each other so well cause they feuded back in 2001 so they had to come up with new moves and counters just to sustain being on offense. Angle rib work did seem like a time waste cause it didn't come into play at all during the finishing stretch, and Benoit barely sold the rib work anyway. Benoit's arm work was AWESOME! Though and it made sense. The finishing stretch is where this match really begins to stand out and it just Benoit/Angle, Angle sets up for the Angle slam, but Benoit lands on his feet and hits the Full-Rotation German! Benoit goes up for the headbutt, but Angle runs up and hits the superplex. Benoit surprises him with a rollup, but Angle reverses it to the Ankle lock. Benoit shoves him away and hits a Tombstone Shoulderbreaker. That sets up the Diving Headbutt for two. Benoit applies the Crossface, but Angle counters with the Ankle Lock, which Benoit reverses into the Crossface. Angle escapes again and hooks the Ankle Lock, but Benoit gets to the ropes only for Angle to lock the Crossface on Benoit. Angle pushes the ropes away from Benoit, AWESOME! But the ref catches him. Benoit rolls Angle up and uses the ropes for leverage for the win. ****1/2

Marc Lloyd interviews Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman, who says this has been personal since the start. He says if Undertaker wants to be personal with Brock, they will be personal with him. Paul says trying to take Brock's title made this personal, so they got personal with The Undertaker. Brock says he’s not sorry for what he did to Taker’s wife and will not be sorry for what happens tonight, and he will be unforgiven.

Eric Bischoff comes out with the two lesbians, Bischoff says that he knows L.A. stands for Los Angeles, but tonight it stands for “Lesbian Actionâ€. He says he’s interviewed many women, but it came down to the two with him, named Peaches and Cream. He asks for a sneak preview and the two women start fondling each other, but get stopped before they kiss and Bischoff introduces Stephanie and she comes out to the ring, he suggests that the lesbians take off some of their 'restrictive' clothing. Bischoff then offers to hold Stephanie's jacket and notices that Steph is a little tense, and tells the lesbians to give her a massage. The two ladies take off their tops and take Stephanie’s jacket off, and then start rubbing her back. But before they go further, Bischoff tells them to head to the back and tells Stephanie that he found the ugliest, fattest lesbian he could find and brings her out. A large, ugly lesbian comes out to the ring and joins the two GMs in the ring. Bischoff introduces the lesbian as Hilda something. Bischoff tells them to get it on. Steph looks horrified at first but ends up kissing her, who then turns around and hits Bischoff with a superkick. She reveals herself to be Smackdown’s Rikishi in drag, who then splashes Bischoff in the corner and gives him the Stinkface. Steph & Rikishi celebrate in the ring with a dance. FUCK THIS COMPANY!

WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) vs. The Undertaker
Taker debuts the "Dead Man Walking" with lyrics here AWESOME! He also has no bike which means SHIT IS SERIOUS! I remember not being a fan of this match at all I thought it was just some ridiculously silly clusterfuck that was more of a long angle advancement match to set up the Hell In A Cell match next month, well boy was i WRONG! The opening 30 seconds are magical as BROCK! Being the badass that he it just straight up walks up to taker and goes face-to-face with him and Taker just shoves him away. Brocks then tries to go for a single leg take down but Taker still has his hand up and BROCK! Cowers in the corner :lmao I must say that the early exchanges, are so AWESOME! with Brock getting a power-move in and he would try another but Taker would show the rookie he knows more and cut him off, which would get Brock pisses and loss his shit on the outside. Matter of fact that is how it went for the first 5 minutes or so before Heyman would provide a distraction. Allowing Brock to work on Taker's ribs, with basic yet effective moves. I did like the Rib work he did on Rock at SSlam more but that was because Rock's selling of it was great. Taker's comeback was alright but it wasn't one of his finest ones, he just seemed really slow and slightly gassed. However I did pop for the Taker blade job as it wasn't sickening like the HIAC one a month later but the way it happen was great, so Taker rams Lesnar into the barricade by the timekeeper’s table. But it was this hilarious lazy throw like "get off me" The ref gets distracted by Heyman, which allows Lesnar to nail Taker with the title belt, and back in the ring Brock just pounds away on the head. By this point Taker has completely forgotten about the rib work. The match ends when The ref gets knocked out and Taker hits the chokeslam, but Matt Hardy runs out to help Lesnar but Taker just gives him a Last Ride. Taker walks into a spinebuster from Lesnar as the ref comes to, but Taker kicks out before three. Lesnar pounds away at Taker, only for Taker to hit huge DDT for a two count. Lesnar escapes a Tombstone attempt and shoves Taker into the same ref that earlier got KO'ed so now he down again. Heyman throws a chair to Lesnar, but Taker blocks it with a big boot. Taker grabs the chair and KILLS! BROCK! The shape of the chair is a fuckin' mess. He hits Lesnar again but this time knocking him out of the ring. Taker knocks Heyman into the crowd and puts Lesnar in the ring, and Lesnar is also busted open. Taker pounds on the open wound and hits a big boot and legdrop, but that only gets a 2.Lesnar blocks the Last Ride and looks for the F-5, but Taker counters and Taker and Lesnar slug it out until in the corner, until Brian Hebner calls for the bell and the DQ. DA FUCK! Post-Match: Taker gives Brock 2 low-blows and a Chokeslams, as Brock NO-SELLS. Taker decides he's not done so the two fights up the entrance where Taker throws Brock through the Unforgiven sign. ***1/2

Nice review overall.

1. Eight man was the perfect opener but sounds like it should have got a bit longer.

2. Remember the Jericho/Flair rematch being better than the slam effort but still not great.

3. Loved the finish to Eddie/Edge better, but different too to their other PPV meeting.

4. We agree on the 3 Minute Warning match, it at least served its purpose to advance the storyline.

5. How can you rate the world title borefest over a Molly/Trish match? Was it Trish dragging it down or just the fact it was only five minutes long, still would rather watch it than Trips/RVD anyday.

6. That lame angle should have been left for TV just doesn't fit on PPV.

7. Found that Brock/Taker match to be overlong, overbooked and a mess. Hell in the Cell was much more fun.

You know what is coming up now the Edge/Eddie SD hardcore match :mark:

Yeah Trish was one of the reasons i did't like it, she was getting better and better but for some reason she decided to suck in that match. And with the 5 minute's i wouls of liked them to of told a story but instead we got a bunch of moves with no purpose.

Now as for HLA it was completely stupid and a waste of time, you know what pisses me off the most is they have guy Rey, Knoble and Tajiri on the roster but they get bumped off for that.

WWE Raw 09/23/2002
I didn't watch the show cause just like the other video the audio was all fucked up and Video quality sucked balls. The vid was 40 minutes long and I skimmed through it.

Chris Jericho/Goldust happen
The Hurricane debuts as KANE's partner
That’s it.

WWE Smackdown 09/26/2002
San Diego, California

WWE Champion: Brock Lesnar
WWE Women's Champion: Trish Stratus
WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Jamie Noble

Rikishi vs. Chavo Guerrero
This sucked, Rikishi is still garbage and Chavo is not Eddie so he can't make Rikishi's shitty offense look respectable. The match ends when Chavo tries to hit Rikishi with the camera but Rikishi hits him with a sidekick sending the camera into Chavo’s face. He then hit the Banzai Drop for the win. *3/4

Backstage, Torrie Wilson prepares for a bikini contest.

fd4.gif

Tazz, Billy, & Chuck are in the ring to judge a bikini contest between Torrie Wilson & Nidia. What? Tazz announces Torrie Wilson first. Then after she comes out, Tazz announces Nidia. Nidia comes out in her robe and she is wearing sneakers. Nidia goes first, she is dressed in a black two piece with sneakers, and she begins to dance like a trailer park whore. Chuck gives Nidia a 6, Billy gives her 9 #69! Torrie disrobes Billy and Chuck both give Torrie a 10. Nidia gets mad and runs away. Billy and Chuck get in the ring with Torrie. Jamie Noble and Tajiri come out. Noble says that Nidia ranks higher than Torrie. Jamie then challenges Billy & Chuck to a match NOW.

Billy & Chuck (w/ Torrie Wilson) vs. Jamie Noble & Tajiri (w/ Nidia)
Noble and Tajiri are the shorter version of Eddie & Benoit, so they were great on picking apart Billy's leg. And e did a great job of selling it, Chuck had a somewhat good fun hot-tag but that's because Noble and Tajiri bumped around for him. Billy & Chuck hit the Code Red on Tajiri for the win. Post-Match: Torrie and Nidia catfight for a bit after Nidia throws her gum at Torrie. Billy holds Nidia while Torrie spanks her. **

Backstage, SMACKDOWN #1 ANNOUNCER Funaki knocks on Brock Lesnar's Door. Funaki asks him if he can ask a hard hitting question. Brock rubs Funaki's head and tells him to go ahead HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Funaki asks if it is true that he will not give Taker a rematch, Brock says he’ll answer his question, in the ring. Funaki’s excited about the scoop.

38s.gif

Stephanie McMahon is on the phone, and Kurt Angle come in and tells her that he enjoyed what she did to Bischoff at Unforgiven. And says that Steph set Eric up 'perfectly' Kurt then asks Steph for a rematch with Chris Benoit tonight. Steph said she knew Kurt would request this tonight, but she has a better idea, Rey Mysterio walks in and waves at Kurt :lmao Steph says that tonight it will be Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit vs. Rey Mysterio in the main event! Kurt asks why Rey would be put in the main event, just because it's his hometown. Just because he was born here 8 years ago?! :lmao Angle says he is gonna get the 1 2 3. Mysterio says not if he hits Angle first with the 619.

Funaki is on the ring with the steel chair that Taker used on Brock Lesnar at Unforgiven, and he brings out Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. He shows Brock the chair, but Brock instantly shoves it away and beats up Funaki. AWESOME!

Dawn comes up and sarcastically Congratulates Torrie on defeating 'hillbilly' Nidia in a bikini contest, Dawn then suggests some day Torrie may have the guts to challenge someone who has a little more to offer. FUCK YEAH!

No Disqualification Match: Edge vs. Eddie Guerrero
This is magnificent, I loved that they started it off as a normal match but started giving the crowd more and more till the point that they had them in the palm of their hands like puppets. The match starts off with a real good feeling out process as they don't wanna rush anything which was great, as their two prior matches both men came out real aggressive to start. So after the feeling out process Eddie begins to target the head, because he's been "Concussed" for a week now and you can't get over that in a week. But Edge keeps fighting him off, by working the arm they do some good back-and-forth action until Eddie hits an enzuigiri followed by a vertical suplex which only gets a two count. Eddie applies a chinlock and begins to talk shit in Spanish, Tazz translates to say that it means “I've got him in a rear chinlock.†:lmao Edge begins to fight out and starts a mini-comeback and heads up top but Eddie cuts him off and hits a beautiful superplex off the top rope but that only gets a 2. Eddie begins to work on Edge’s head with vicious elbows and forearms but gets on Edge's shoulders but Edge counters that into a hot-shot onto the ropes and then clotheslines him to the floor. Edge gets a ladder to a pop. He goes to hit Eddie with the ladder but he ducks and Edge accidently KILLS! The ref Mike Sparks with the ladder. I'm not sure why you needed a ref bump in a street fight, Eddie gets a chair and waffles Edge with it across the back a few times then heads top and goes for the Frog Splash but Edge moves and Eddie eats mat as we go to a commercial. Late in the match Edge escapes the Sleeper and hits a face plant for 2. He then heads up top but Eddie hits a hurancanrana off the top rope, and gets a two-count; Edge then reverses a second hurancanrana into a powerbomb, and now brings the ladder in again. Eddie dropkicks the ladder back into Edge. Which allows Eddie to now brings in another ladder and Euro uppercuts Edge down onto the ladder in the bump, the sound of that was SICK! Eddie now stacks another ladder on Edge and hits the TOP CON HILO ON TWO LADDERS! AWESOME! But that only gets a 2 count. Eddie sets up a ladder and gets on the top rope and on the top of the ladder. Edge climbs up the other side, and they begin to punch each other. Eddie delivers a sit out power bomb from the top of the ladder for a 2 count; man that near-fall was epic. Edge somehow rebounds and backdrops Eddie onto the ladder in the corner, just crazy. The match would end like a minute after that when Edge now sets up a ladder in the opposite corner, but Eddie comeback with him on the top but Edge gets him to the ropes and then hits a TORNADO EDGE-O-CUTION OFF THE LADDER and that's enough to get the win. Edge celebrates and goes to the backstage leaving Eddie lying in the ring; the referee helps Eddie to his feet where he receives a standing ovation from the crowd. Another one of my personal favourite matches of the 2002 year. ****1/4

Backstage, Mark Lloyd interviews Benoit and asks him about his thoughts on his triple threat match. Chris Benoit says that Angle doesn’t suck. He’s not the only gold medallist in WWE history for nothing. He’s one of the toughest, most technically sound SOBs he’s ever faced and he can’t wait to face him again. As far as Mysterio, he may have been born in San Diego, but Benoit was born to hurt.

Matt Hardy is showing Shannon Moore clips of his match vs. Hurricane last week. Matt brings that he ran Hurricane off Raw, just like Matt Hardy Version One, Sensei of Mattitude has done to Taker lately. Moore says that has more to do with Brock than him, and Matt tell Shannon Moore to sit there and watch what happens in his match NEXT. Matt leaves the locker-room and we see Brock Lesnar watching him.

The Undertaker vs. Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy extends his hand. Taker grabs it and doesn't let go. Taker throws Hardy into the turnbuckle. Taker ran towards Matt, but Matt got the boot up. Matt attempts the twist of fate, but Taker chokeslams Matt. Then picks up Matt and delivered a last ride for the win. As soon as Taker gets up, Brock has run down, and KILLS Taker with a WWE Title shot to the head. Taker slowly gets up, and Brock hits him with the title again. Brock leaves, and Taker is bleeding heavily. He refuses to accept help to the back, and stumbles up the ramp.

Angle says for some unknown reason the main event was made into a triple threat match. He says that being from San Diego is nothing to be proud of. Angle says Rey may think hes good because of his 619 but tonight he is gonna teach him a new number 911. Angle says Benoit must be feeling proud for beating him at Unforgiven by cheating.

Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio
This was great, I liked the story that they used here with Angle/Benoit throwing Rey out of the ring cause they wanted to continue their match from Unforgiven. But Rey wouldn't stay down for long, but when he did comeback in he would get killed via with brutal offense. This gets at least nine minutes, and they do some wicked counters and spots. The finishing stretch was magnificent, with Benoit hits a release German and signals for the headbutt, but gets missile dropkicked by Rey. Angle tosses Rey and drags Benoit back in. Chop block to Benoit and Angle grabs the ankle lock but Benoit makes the ropes. They both hang on the second rope, and Rey comes in with a double 619. Mysterio goes for the west coast pop but Angle rolls him up for two, Benoit locks in the cross face on Angle. Angle rolls over but Benoit still has a submission locked in. Mysterio jumps off the top rope and hits the spring board leg drop on to Benoit. Angle then goes for a Angle Slam but Mysterio floats out of the Angle Slam and dropkicks Angle into Benoit. Benoit suplexes him over the top rope. And Rey finishes it with a springboard Huracanrana off the middle rope to win. ***1/2
