WWE RAW 18th March 2013 - HHH Responds To Brock

Pretty disappointing RAW and that crowd was one of the worst I have ever seen. 15k there yet it sounded like there were 15. Never understood why a fan would buy a ticket to a wrestling show and then not get involved.

I usually don't say much about the crowd and all that but they no sold the fuck out of stuff tonight.

I wasn't particularly thrilled with the announcement regarding the Brock/Triple H match. I guess I was expecting too much by actually hoping there would be a creative stipulation to the match. It's pretty sad when I actually thought the first 3 proposals Paul Heyman suggested were actually better than the real one. That was extremely anti-climatic.

I mean great, No-DQ, I guess that figures. But Triple H's career being on the line? I don't even see how that is something that could be enforced. First of all, Triple H's career practically already is over, because seriously, how often does he even wrestle anymore? And assuming he loses, what's to stop his wife or any of the McMahons for that matter in reinstating him afterwards? Considering he's, you know, Stephanie's husband? I mean, how many career-ending matches has Chris Jericho been in? It sure hasn't stopped him from coming back whenever the fuck he wants and he's not even married to a McMahon.

Just a really weak stipulation and I actually think the match would have been better off without one. But frankly, this entire ppv feels like one huge clusterfuck.

Yeah all the stuff you mentioned just makes the stip really dumb. Guess they figured it doesn't matter since HHH is going to win anyways and funny enough probably end his own career regardless. Should have made it for control of the company esp when Paul was already trying to get a position of power anyways before this.

Yes, something like that would have definitely been more of a shocker. And of course all these ECW loyalists would have immediately jumped all over that shit, since apparently Paul Heymen can never do any wrong when he's in charge *cough cough*. But it would have been more interesting for sure, and you would have probably divided the audience between people who just root for the babyface and people who legitimately wanted Heymen to take over.

But Triple H's career on the line? pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffft

I mean while we're at it, why not just include another bonus stipulation that he also has to divorce Stephanie because that would really shut the door behind him. I mean honestly, it couldn't be any dumber than it already is.

I hate it when they add a career on the line or must quit WWE stipulation to a match since 99% of the time it makes the result that more obvious. Like whenever they add it to a Cena match it is just pointless. With HHH someone that is married into the company and is a high ranking executive that will never leave there is no point adding this stipulation to the match. Why not just make it No Holds Barred and stick with that.

that crowd is specifically why I hate sharing my state with Pittsburgh..... Philly will surely be better next week..... That Raw was just horrible, start to finish

Really a holding pattern show tonight. Taker could easily bring more interest by "breaking kayfabe" and do some worked shoots on Punk. Talk about his career and why people in the locker room respect him and why noone will ever respect Punk....y'know something along those lines.

And Trips putting his career on the line is fine with me, I don't know what other stipulation, anyone would want. Pretty ultimate in the eyes of casuals. Wrestlemania isn't for us, it's for the other million people who are going to buy this PPV who don't read dirtsheets or discuss wrestling everyday. It's for those people who actually Tout for Raw.

No Holds Barred is an OK gimmick, Trips can show clips of his last No Hold Barred match with HBK and tell Heyman and Brock this is my bestfriend and look what I did to him. Imagine what I'm going to do to you at Mania...so on and so forth.

One segment with Cena? Don't like it, liked Titus tho, give that man more mic time. Could be a giant black version of WCW Jericho.
