Brawl for All and this are too completely different things. Yeah they're based off of MMA/Boxing style fighting, but the reason Brawl for All was so poorly received was because it was a shoot, and a poorly performed one. This is nothing more than a title with specific rules during it's matches.

And since it's gonna be worked, matches and all the jazz will be worked to a tee. Hopefully, at least, that's the expectation.

No actually they are not two totally different things. One may be a shoot fight while the other isn't, but they are still MMA style fighting on a pro wrestling show.

The most common chant during the Brawl for All matches was "We want wrestling." It was not "We don't like this because the winner isn't pre determined." It was the style of fighting that made it fail. Because most wrestling fans do not turn on pro wrestling to watch MMA style matches.

And don't put words in my mouth. I didn't say there was anything wrong with them doing this. I said it was a bad idea and I think it will fail. That doesn't equal me thinking there is something wrong about them doing it.

Honestly I couldn't care less if TNA succeeds or fails and if this works for them, good for them. The ONLY point I have made is that I think it will fail.

Ironically enough, I never said you said it was wrong for them to do this. I said it's too early to jump the gun on if it's bad or good. Because as many promotions have taught, MMA style matches can be very good. Promotions like ROH, IGF and New Japan, to a much smaller degree.

But that's the thing. Judging by the overall idea of the title, it's just a title that has a rule set. It's won't change anything about the show. It isn't throwing the idea of pro-wrestling out of the window. It's pro-wrestling with some kayfabe rules. And it isn't even that complicated.

Yeah I misread the "nothing more" as "nothing wrong." I apologize for that. But I just think it's another bad idea in a company that has made so many bad ideas in the past 7 years that they can't afford to keep racking up failures. They need to work on correcting there many current problems before developing new ones. Just my opinion.
