Man.. These guys have a couple of great shows lined up.

From DGUSA.tv

- August 11th: The flash on the main page of DGUSA.tv has revealed that Brian Kendrick will square off against CIMA on the September 6th "Open The Untouchable Gate" event in Chicago at the historic Congress Theater. We promised we wouldn't over hype things when we launched DGUSA and, yeah, we don't have to hype this. Tickets are now available in the DGUSA.tv Store or by calling 267-519-9744 with credit card.

-Highspots.com presents WWE Hall Of Famers Jim Ross & Jerry "The King" Lawler for a special autograph session before the show. Autograph tickets are available at www.Highspots.com and you must have a ticket to the DGUSA card to get into the autograph session.

-Golden Ringside ticket holders will get in early to see FRAY! featuring Johnny Gargano, Hallowicked, Mustafa Ali, Louis Lyndon, Shiima Xion, The Great Malaki and two others to be announced. There are still a very limited amount of 2nd & 3rd row Golden Ringside seats left.

Gabe talks about Kendrick's signings, and his other possible choices to have wrestled CIMA.

Dragon Gate USA executive Gabe Sapolsky says he reached out to Brian Kendrick immediately after he was released from WWE, but didn't expect to sign him for the next Dragon Gate show. When he saw that Pro Wrestling Guerrilla booked Kendrick for their August show, Sapolsky says he called up Kendrick to offer him the last remaining slot on the Sept. 6 card in Chicago.

Sapolsky says he was waiting to fill the final slot in a singles match against Dragon Gate star CIMA. He says DGUSA was considering former PWG champion Human Tornado, Jack Evans, 2 Cold Scorpio, CHIKARA wrestler Hallowicked, and Ring of Honor wrestlers Tyler Black, Jimmy Jacobs, Chris Hero, and Delirious.

"There was really no rush to book someone since there was a wealth of talent available on the Sunday," Sapolsky said on his MySpace blog. "Then last Thursday I saw Kendrick was already taking dates since he was booked for PWG so I shot him a call and left a message saying we had a spot open against CIMA in Chicago. He called back 20 minutes later.

Sapolsky reports the conversation: "You want me to work CIMA in a singles?" Kendrick said in an excited voice. "That's great, I'm in."

Sapolsky says Kendrick vs. CIMA is a match he "never imagined possible just that morning."

Sapolsky says his relationship with Kendrick started at the very first Ring of Honor show when wrestlers from Shawn Michaels's Texas Wrestling Academy drove north to work. He said he bumped into Kendrick again in Texas during WrestleMania weekend when Sapolsky was finalizing details on the DGUSA promotion with Dragon Gate's Houston office and Kendrick was in town for WrestleMania 25.

When Kendrick was released from WWE two weeks ago, Sapolsky says he reached out to Kendrick with a phone call. "After all, I now consider myself an expert on getting fired and can offer some advice on dealing with it," Sapolsky said with a slight blow to ROH.

Now, CIMA vs. Kendrick takes place on September 6 in Chicago along with other U.S. independent wrestlers vs. Japanese stars from Dragon Gate match-ups.

DGUSA Open The Untouchable Gate Results:

From PWPonders Twitter (via Chikarafans)

-Johnny Gargano wins FRAY, eliminating Hallowicked to secure the victory
Order of FRAY elimination: Arik Cannon, Shiima Xion, The Great Malaki, (The) Flip Kendrick, Hallowicked

-Dragon Kid defeats Masato Yoshino in the opening bout.
"Wow" was the general sentiment. Kid and Yoshino are now tied at one win a piece!

-Quackenbush & Jigsaw def. YAMATO & Gran Akuma when Quack pins Akuma.
YAMATO attacks afterwards, Hallowicked saves. Jigsaw may be hurt.

-JIMMY JACOBS IS AT DGUSA. Prince Mustafa Ali is with them. He says he's recruiting, and he beats up The Young Bucks. Age of the Fall, back? Genki Horiguchi and Ryo Saito help Jimmy beat up The Bucks. Bucks fought back and hit their finisher on Ali. New stable?

-Return date to Chicago for DGUSA is January, 28th

-Naruki Doi defeats Bryan Danielson in a damn fine bout.
In a post-match speech, Danielson puts over Davey Richards in a very big way. Thanks the fans for their support.

-Intermission time! Some of the guys are around signing autographs. I know Dragon Kid, YAMATO, and Yoshino are for sure.

-CIMA defeats Brian Kendrick in a good (but not great) match.

-Davey Richards vs. SHINGO is up next, meaning The Young Bucks main event! Wahoo!

-Davey defeated SHINGO in an easy MOTYC.

-Davey turned heel on Bryan Danielson as Danielson figuratively passed the torch.

-Ryo Saito & Genki Horiguchi defeat The Young Bucks in a great main event. The match involved mist blown in the face and a ref bump.

Sounds like another great card.

Dragon Gate + the best of Chikara and ROH + Gabe as booker may make this my favorite promotion, and quick.

These look like a great collection of matches, but i think Dragon Gate USA is still a long ways from ROH. It could be the history of ROH, or the actual fact the wrestlers in ROH speak english. But none the less, Dragon Gate is off to a good start.

This match was described as ‘iffy’. A lot of the guys were green and the match was not as good as the fray that took place at the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup that is on the “Open the Freedom Gate†DVD.
They did the stuff with Bob Saget and he is the special ring announcer for the match between Yamato and Luke Hawx.
Jon Moxley comes out and says that he wanted to be in the match. BxB Hulk comes out and attacks Moxley and they fight to the back.
Match Number One: Yamato versus Luke Hawx with Special Ring Announcer Bob Saget
Yamato defeats Luke Hawx with a brainbuster.
This match was filmed for the A&E series that Bob Saget is involved with.
Match Number Two: Susumu Yokosuka and Genki Horiguchi versus Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw

Match Number Three: Yamato versus TJP
Yamato defeats TJP with a sleeper.
Match Number Four: Paul London and Jimmy Jacobs versus Jon Moxley and Brian Kendrick
Brian Kendrick and Jon Moxley defeat Paul London and Jimmy Jacobs when they get a rollup on Jacobs. Moxley attacks Jacobs after the match. London took a really nasty spill right before the finish and it shows on his back. Moxley and Jacobs brawl and Jacobs sets Moxley up on the table outside for London to put Jon through. London and Kendrick are now in the ring talking. Kendrick is on the mic telling him that it's not worth the cheers to do this. He tells Paul that it isn't worth it. Teddy Hart comes out and says that London has lost his balls. Hart does a moonsault and puts Moxley through the table.
London tells Teddy to do another moonsault and Teddy backflips into the ring. London and Kendrick attack Hart.
Teddy is now attempting to get back in the ring and is asking where is Jack. London and Kendrick come out and are attacking him but Teddy makes a comeback and eventually dives from the ring onto them. Teddy left and London and Kendrick also leave.
Hart appeared to have hit his head hard on the ground when he made the dive to the floor.
Match Number Five: Masato Yoshino versus Shingo
Yoshino defeats Shingo with the Sol Naciente in what was described as a great match.
After the match, Jon Moxley comes out to help Shingo.
It is now intermission.
Match Number Six: LA PARK and Hijo De Rey Mysterio versus Derrick Neikirk and G.Q. Gallo
LA PARK and Hijo De Rey Mysterio defeat Niekirk and Gallo by disqualification after Gallo hit LA PARK with a low blow.
This match went over twenty minutes and has had the most crowd heat so far.
Match Number Seven: BxB Hulk versus Naruki Doi for the Open the Freedom Gate Title
BxB Hulk defeated Doi with the E.V.O.P. to retain the Open the Freedom Gate Title.
BxB Hulk had one dancing girl with him tonight.
Before the main event, Jack Evans gets on the mic and says that Teddy Hart is supposedly on his way to the hospital with a broken clavicle. Evans wants London and Kendrick in some form tomorrow night.
Match Number Eight: CIMA, Gamma, and Dragon Kid versus Jack Evans and the Young Bucks in a Dragon Gate Style Six Man Tag Match
CIMA, Gamma, and Dragon Kid defeat Jack Evans and the Young Bucks when Cima pinned Matt Jackson with Meteora.
After the match, CIMA thanks everyone for coming to the show and apologizes because 'his English is s***'. He promoted the Warriors/World-1 Six Man Tag Match (CIMA, Gamma, and Dragon Kid versus Masato Yoshino, Naruki Doi, and BxB Hulk) tomorrow night. What do you guys think of this card. I'm probably goign to this show, and it looks like more of a filler show, but im sure it will be good action. The Chikara tag will be good. I was kinda hoping for a better match for Cima, and more of a hardcore match of Jacobs. Not too familar with Phil Atlas off the top of my head. Excited for the 2/3 falls, and im not huge on tag main events, but again it should be exciting. Seeing Quack and Pac live for the first time makes this worth a little drive.

I suppose hype for the anniversary never happened here. The show was fun but maybe not their best show and they're October show being moved to New Jersey is such an awesome move, the venue is abit more friendly for good fan seating.
