I think that once NBA Playoffs are over there won't be any sports competition for them

TNA should have spent more time promoting the new timeslot two weeks ago instead of promoting the debut of Brooke Hogan

Hulk Hogan and Bischoff are gonna end up running TNA into the ground like they did WCW. lol.

Finally I found a ratings breakdown for the first LIVE Thursday Impact

prowrestling.net said:
The following are the quarter-hour ratings for the May 31 TNA Impact Wrestling television show.

Q1: 0.72 rating - Opening with the announcers and match introductions, Bobby Roode vs. Sting in a Lumberjack match

Q2: 0.85 rating - Roode vs. Sting continued, Hulk Hogan out to announce Slammiversary main event, Madison Ryane backstage, Bully Ray and Joseph Park in-ring verbal exchange

Q3: 0.81 rating - Ray and Park continuation, Crimson video, Chris Sabin introduction, Austin Aries accidentally sprays Samoa Joe backstage, Aries vs. Sabin

Q4: 0.75 rating - Aries celebrates win, Hulk Hogan talks with Taz about adding him to the Gut Check panel, Bruce Prichard, Al Snow, and Taz talk backstage about Gut Check, Jeremy Borash backstage with potential TV Title contenders

Q5: 0.97 rating - Dixie Carter in-ring announcement regarding TNA Hall of Fame, Dixie introduces Brooke Hogan, Daniels and Karazian talk backstage, Devon enters, Borash reveals Jeff Hardy as the winner of the fan voting

Q6: 0.99 rating - Devon vs. Jeff Hardy with Robbie E and Robbie T interference, James Storm on the farm video, A.J. Styles, Kurt Angle, Daniels, and Kazarian video recap

Q7: 1.03 rating - In-ring Gut Check segment with Borash, Prichard, Snow, Taz, and Joey Ryan, main event introductions

Q8: 1.01 rating - A.J. Styles vs. Christopher Daniels, Kazarian interferes in the main event, Angle attempts to make the save, Daniels and Kazarian play the latest Styles and Dixie video, Dixie out to shut down the show

Powell's POV: The first hour really dragged down the show with some ridiculously low numbers. Obviously, the time change was a major factor, as those numbers are far below the company's average rating. Hour on drew a 0.782 rating, and hour two drew an even 1.0 rating. The overall show drew a 0.89 overall rating.

Quite simply the time change caused the rating to drop, the second hour delivered the normal rating TNA receives for a show but clearly they didn't promote the new start time enough and fans tuned in too late.

This past Thursday night's edition of TNA Impact Wrestling drew a 1.03 cable rating and took in 1.34 million viewers.

This is up from last week's show that drew a 0.98 cable rating with 1.25 million viewers.

Good news for them that the rating has gone up each week with people getting used to the new starting time. Still need to watch this show too.

Moving in the right direction but still a bit off from the 1.2 that they were averaging for most of the year. Maybe they should have done things one at a time and changed the starting time a couple of months ago before going live. That would have given a better reflection on whether going live made a difference or not.

The 6/21 edition of Impact did a 0.95 rating with a timeslot low 1,237,000 viewers.

Dropped back down again, wonder how many tuned out for the mainevent? Not looking good for them at the moment, really starting to think that they should have gone live without the time change to get a better reflection on whether going live made an impact.

Keep in mind that the final game of the NBA Finals were also on though. I'm not saying that was much of a factor, but if the second hour is worse than weeks prior, then that would basically prove it.

I keep forgetting about the NBA finals, not used to it because it airs on random days so one week it goes opposite RAW and then now opposite Impact. The breakdown should appear within the next few days.

A fan wrote to Brooke Hogan on Twitter and said that she should "go home" because TNA's ratings are going to keep dropping now that she's on the roster. She replied:
"ratings went up 31 percent hunnnnayyyyyy"

What? What a dumb bitch.. They've been down lately. And even if it was up once or twice it sounds like Brooke is taking all of the credit for their very slight rise in the ratings.

Btw, they're lucky they don't have to go against live NFL.. yet.

No idea where she dragged that number from especially since the total viewers is the lowest they have had. Using the 0.95 rating they got this week a 31% rise would mean that they had a 0.73 rating which they haven't had for a very long time. My only other thought is that possibly she was talking about quarter by quarter breakdowns which we haven't seen yet.

I'm assuming it is quarter based. Or she's just an idiot. Or both.
