All I know is I'm getting more and more tempted to buy a ticket.. I've seen all these old guys live in action before but that was like 25 years ago.. this could make it come full circle if they all end up being there.

I'll mark out for Sting, but honestly I don't see what he can do for WWE, even if it's just a 1-time deal. I'd rather see him pop up at TNA every now and then, he's a legend there and will probably get big pops there. I'm just too afraid of him coming to WWE and the fans not knowing who he is, and so Sting doesn't get a big ovation.

I can't imagine the WWE Universe butchering it any worse than they did for Bret Hart.
Of course, Bret's memory was kept alive by the screw job (but still)

Flair's gonna be a mess if he shows up and I'm not gonna bother watching that shit.

From what he did and how he looked at MSG the other day I'd say you're wrong about that.

I think he is seriously digging in again.. he passed the physical in order to actually wrestle.. I wouldn't be surprised if this run might be memorable.

I'd be perfectly fine without seeing Flair or Hogan or Batista ever back again.

Flair in a non-wrestling role can be good if he's cleaned up. I'll wait to see if he's good to go, but I'd enjoy some more of the Nature Boy.

I could get behind this storyline. 65 year old Ric Flair comes back, calls out Cena and says

CENAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

15 TIME WORLD CHAMPION???

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

WELL BUDDY YOU'RE LOOKING AT THE

WOOOOOOOo

::Struts across ring::

SIXTEEN. SIXTEEN TIME WORLD CHAMP

AND CENA

::takes off suit jacket::

IF YOU THINK I'M GOING TO SIT BY AND WATCH YOU BREAK MY RECORD

::throws suit jacket to ground:: WOOOOOOOOOO

YOU ARE SADLY MISTAKEN

::runs ropes, elbow drops suit jacket::

BECAUSE AFTER I BEAT YOU AT ::insert next PPV here::

I'LL BE THE 17 TIME WOOOOOOOOOOOOO WORLD CHAMP

::removes tie, starts to take off dress shirt::

Flair can go on like a year long title chase where he comes up short at MITB, loses a #1 contenders match, loses the Royal Rumble and then finally gets one last title win at Mania.

Bernard Hopkins can be a boxing champ at 50, Flair can win a scripted championship at 65. would still be better than that last rocky movie they made

I realize your post is dripping sarcasm D'Z but....

Ummm.. no. If Ric Flair gets into a serious wrestling match or earns a title shot in some way then I give up on the WWE, because that means they are truly scraping the bottom of the barrel. Now, him being named RAW GM and taking a few bumps every once in a while is a different story and I would love to see that.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Sting is not signed as of this morning. It was also said that fans tuning in to RAW tonight to see Sting won’t be disappointed but he won’t be there live.

Ric Flair may as well keep going. He may end up like Muhammad Ali.
What I would concern myself with is the age of the noodle in his dome.
I'm not saying he's Benoit level, but that noodle can't be right, can it?
Who knows what one concussion could do to the cat? I suppose it doesn't matter. The cat is made of steel.

You can't beat time. It's all I'm saying.
