Former TNA wrestlers Chris Harris and James Styorm made their WWE debut as America's Most Wanted last Friday on Smackdown. Backstage are said to be very happy with how the pair started and see a bright future for both of them in the WWE.

JIM ROSS: Hello everybody and welcome to Backlash. I’m Jim Ross alongside by good friend Jerry Lawler and King what have show we have in store tonight.

JERRY LAWLER: That’s right; Randy Orton will get his rematch for the WWE Championship against “The Game” Triple H!

JIM ROSS: Now let’s send you to our Smackdown colleagues, Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman…

*The camera turns to Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman at their announce table*

MICHAEL COLE: Thank you very much Jim. Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman at ringside and Smackdown has some great matches on offer tonight.

JONATHAN COACHMAN: That’s right Michael, Ric Flair tries to win his 17th World Championship tonight, but he faces a tough task against The Undertaker.

MICHAEL COLE: Now let’s send you to our ECW representatives, Joey Styles and Tazz…

*The camera turns to Joey Styles and Tazz at their announce table*

JOEY STYLES: Thank you Michael. Joey Styles and Tazz representing ECW tonight and ECW are sure to surprise many of you.


CM Punk defeated Chavo Guerrero to retain the ECW Championship at 12:43


*The cameras go to the back where Josh Matthews is standing by with Ric Flair*

JOSH MATTHEWS: Ric tonight is the night where you have an opportunity to become a 17-time World Champion. How are you feeling?

RIC FLAIR: I’ll tell you Josh. I’m so proud to get a chance to take on The Undertaker again and this is going to be the match of the night. But this isn’t going to be friendly because tonight I have the chance to add another World Championship to my resume, and I’d like nothing better than to be a World Champion one more time. Tonight is going to be the toughest match of my life but I won’t give up without the fight of my life.

*Ric Flair leaves as the crowd shout woo. Ric Flair returns and grabs the microphone*

RIC FLAIR: WOO!

*The cameras go to the entrance ramp as Deuce and Domino’s entrance music plays. The WWE Tag-Team Champions come down to the ring to a chorus of boos from the 13,000 fans in Baltimore, Maryland*

JUSTIN ROBERTS: This contest is set for one fall and is for the WWE Tag-Team Championships. Introducing first from the other side of the tracks they are the WWE Tag-Team Champions, Deuce and Domino!

MICHAEL COLE: Well Deuce and Domino won the WWE Tag Team Championships a few weeks ago on Smackdown, but we may be seeing a short reign for the 2-time Tag-Team Champions.

JONATHAN COACHMAN: Michael there is no way Deuce and Domino will lose their belts tonight.

MICHAEL COLE: Why do you seem so sure?

JONATHAN COACHMAN: Come on Michael, without Edge those two aren’t nothing.

*The cameras turn back to the entrance ramp where The Major Brothers music plays and they come down to the ring to 70% cheers from the crowd*

JUSTIN ROBERTS: And introducing their opponents, from Long Island, New York, Brian and Brett Major. The Major Brothers.

MICHAEL COLE: Well I’ve got to disagree with you John, The Major Brothers have been on a role since disbanding from Edge.

JONATHAN COACHMAN: Did you see what happened on Smackdown? AMW destroyed those brothers.

MICHAEL COLE: That’s a great point John. The Major Brothers aren’t 100% after their match 2 nights ago on Smackdown.

JONATHAN COACHMAN: I’m always right Michael.

*The bell rings and Brian Major starts for The Major Brothers while Deuce starts for Deuce and Domino. The two stare each other down and lock up in the centre of the ring. After a few seconds of grappling, Deuce throws Brian back into his corner. Brian looks at Deuce and sarcastically claps, frustrating Deuce. Domino calls for the tag and gets in the ring, Brian gets a blind tag before Domino and goes to the top rope and executes a Missile Dropkick on Domino, sending him crashing to the mat. Brian taunts Domino and goes down to the floor and picks him up. Brian hits a series of punches on Domino but Domino battles back with a knee to the gut of Brian Major. Domino applies a headlock on his opponent and wretches back on the head of Brian. The referee tells Domino to stop wrenching back on Brian’s head but Domino carries on. The referee has no alternative but to start a count. 1…..2…..3…..4….. Domino breaks the hold and quickly picks up Brian again. Domino executes another knee to the gut of Brian and brings Brian to his corner and tags to Deuce. Deuce goes to the top rope and hits a Double Axe Drop onto the back of Brian Major. The crowd begins to cheer for Brian to reach his corner and tag to his partner. Deuce keeps the advantage in his teams favor and rolls Brian into the ring ropes, Deuce ducks down attempting a Back Body Drop but Brian executes a Neckbreaker sending Deuce to the floor. Brian tries to get up with help from the ropes, but Domino illegally comes in the ring and sends Brian Major over the ropes with a clothesline. The crowd boos heavily at the dirty tactics of the Tag-Team Champions. Brett does a bit of dirty tactics himself and goes to the top rope and hits a Cross body knocking Domino to the floor. Brett quickly goes to the outside of the ring and rolls Brian back into the ring and goes onto the ring apron. Brian slowly gets up to his feet and tags to Brett. Brett hits a flurry of moves sending both Deuce and Domino the floor. Brett knocks Domino the floor with a Dropkick. Cherry goes up onto the ring apron to distract The Major Brothers. Brett goes over to Cherry to get her out the way, but Deuce rolls up Brett and goes for the pin. 1…..2….. Brett kicks out and rolls Deuce over to go for a pin. 1…..2….. Deuce kicks out before the three count. Domino gets back in the ring and knocks Brett Major from behind. Domino positions Brett on the floor and holds Brett upright. Domino rolls into the ropes and comes back with a kick that doesn’t reach Brett’s face. As Brian hit a dropkick on Domino before he could kick Brett’s head. Brian goes towards Domino, while Brett rolls up Deuce for the pin. 1…..2…..3!*

JONATHAN COACHMAN: How did they do it Michael?

MICHAEL COLE: Well if you didn’t see it the first time then watch it now.

*Highlights of the finish of the match are shown on the screen*

MICHAEL COLE: Brett Major rolled up Deuce to win the belts.

JONATHAN COACHMAN: I still can’t believe it Michael. What a match!

MICHAEL COLE: The Major Brothers win their first Championships in the WWE at Backlash.

*The screen goes black as numerous wrestlers are shown one by one until Batista’s face is shown*

NARRATOR: Retribution will be served.

*Batista is seen in a prison cell punching away at the wall*

NARRATOR: All sins will be rewarded.

*Batista continues to punch the prison wall and gets angry*

NARRATOR: Judgment Day is upon us.

*Batista turns around and sees the camera and smashes the camera. The screen turns to a Judgment Day Logo with information of the event*

NARRATOR: Judgment Day, live May 18th only on pay-Per-View.

Great first match and opening promo. I will review the show when the full thing is up, but first off I am glad to see The Major Brothers as the Tag Team Champions.
