Anyway, depending on the championship matches, my picks for winning the Rumble are

2) Randy Orton

Yep, I agree with your top picks. Well im going to the rumble in like 7 weeks or so, so i figured this thread might get my interest up for the event.

As for the Rumble matches i would guess..

Cena vs Orton

Edge vs. HHH

Seems pretty accurate, although I think we'll get Cena vs Jericho in a gimmick match for the World Heavyweight Championship. It's not like the WWE to book a re-match without a gimmick like they have at Armageddon, so I reckon this feud could stretch till the Rumble.

Barring anymore stupid stuff, I fully expect Jeff Hardy to win the Rumble in 2009, then go on to win a title (Probably the WWE Title) at Wrestlemania.

If Jeff Hardy doesn't win the Championship at Armageddon, then it's either the Royal Rumble victory or the Money in the Bank win at WrestleMania.

I would prefer the Royal Rumble victory, it would be something fresh.

Maybe a No DQ match or some sort of gimmick match.

Winner being Edge going to Mania to face Hardy

MVP vs. Gregory Helms

There is room for one or two more matches just not sure on them yet. Once I see the Armageddon full final card then we will know because most of the time the matches are the same in the three weeks they don't build up anything new its just new sorts of matches between the people.

The final four are Batista, Kane, Triple-H, and Umaga. Batista eliminates Umaga, Batista and Triple-H both eliminate Kane, and Triple-H eliminates Batista to win. After the match, Hardy comes down with the belt over his shoulder and has a staredown with Triple-H to end the show.

WWE Championship Match
Edge (Champion) vs. Jeff Hardy
Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate, but Edge reverses and hits a Spear. Edge, hurt and tired, waits 5-10 seconds before covering Hardy, who kicks out at 2. Edge picks Hardy up and slams his head into the top turnbuckle. Edge whips Hardy to the opposite turnbuckles, but Hardy goes up the ropes and hits Whisper in the Wind. Both men are down as the referee begins a 10 count. Edge and Hardy get to their feet at 5 as Edge goes for a right hand. Hardy ducks and catches Edge with the Twist of Fate. Hardy climbs the top rope and hits a Swanton Bomb...1...2...3!

World Tag Team Championship Match
CM Punk & Kofi Kingston (Champions) vs. Cody Rhodes & Manu
Before Royal Rumble, Punk defeats Manu and Rhodes defeats Kingston in Royal Rumble Qualifying Matches.

For Batista/Orton the winner is #30 in rumble, loser draws #1. For the tag teams it is for the championships.

Rey Mysterio v William Regal

Intercontinental tournament match, Rey wins and becomes triple crown champion.

John Cena v Chris Jericho

Make it a gimmick match of some sort. Maybe falls count anywhere?

Edge v Triple H

Edge wins and stays champ.

Undertaker v Umaga

I expect this feud to start pretty soon.

Matt Hardy v Vladimir Kozlov

Hardy wins after his brother comes out. They celebrate together.

Royal Rumble Match

Jeff wins and goes to face Edge at WM.

I would love for Randy Orton to get the win. Orton, still, has such a bright future so catering to him now is key. Winning the rumble does major things for your career.
