Jack Swagger ARRESTED for DUI & Pot

WWE is strict as hell now, no way they can let this slide. They are just going to let knuckleheads like him get arrested without repercussions? This isn't TNA. The only way they can save this is maybe have Otunga bring back the lawyer gimmick and have some even more crazier segments to try to fight the case in storyline.

Do you really think WWE wants to publicize this story anymore than they have to?

He'll still go to wrestlemania more than likely he'll end up losing and then be suspended. Or I could see them claiming that the last year that he had off will apply towards that (maybe). This close to the event very unlikely they'll change it.

Good point, just a random idea that I saw. Don't think he should get released or anything, but there should be a punishment. Plus they want to keep Bruno happy, who will probably be bitching about Swagger now.

About him being punished:

The way I see it, Swagger should be punished but WWE shouldn't punish themselves in the process. Same reason R-Truth wasn't suspended until after his Survivor Series main event a couple years ago. So I don't see Swagger being taken out of 'Mania.

The difference is Swagger was driving and has three different offenses. Truth was just smoking. I'll admit Swagger was definitely starting to turn some heads with new gimmick and gaining steam, but I'm just not a fan. If he's still at Mania, then fine but I seriously doubt it with WWE being so strict. The fact that this idiot didn't take this push for granted after the last two years of jobbing is pathetic.

I disagree. I see your point, but R-Truth was essential to that match. It was Awesome Truth. They needed him to compete. Swagger can easily be replaced with a mulitude of talents right now. Orton, Jericho, Henry, Big Show, and more could all fit the spot as a credible world title contender.

Honestly, Swagger is the lowest in terms of star power, and Del Rio himself is not yet high in star power. This may be a blessing in disguise as it will open up the spot for someone mentioned above to step in and add a little star power to the world title match.

I doubt WWE Jeff Hardy's him, they don't like re-writing advanced storylines, it's pretty obviopus they had this thing planned from jumpstreet and are not going to let some fuckhead ruin it all, because he wanted to ride alone.

Plus it's weed people.....WEED. Nothing, a drink or two and a dime bag.

Plus this is Swagger's amerika........Do as he says, not as he does.

So basically the same shit we see every week? No more Big Show, that shit got old fast.

As a pot smoker myself, I'm going on record and saying that he was an idiot for getting behind the wheel. I don't think he should be taken out of Mania, because I love his current gimmick and I need more of that Zeb beard.

2nd DUI. He got his first in FCW while the champ there for driving drunk. Then he got suspended for the synthetic weed. Now he got busted and for possession to.

He should either set the record for quickest tap out ever at Mania. Or he should get destroyed and thrown out the match to be replace by the other 3 chamber non fuck ups. (Sans Hell No)

Jesus, what an idiot. Shame, I was rooting for his chamber win to get something different at Mania. I was expecting a good build too.

I still don't see why WWE didn't take the route of Jericho winning the chamber, and Ziggler cashing in. Made the most sense obviously.

Henry vs. Del Rio is fresh. Heel Orton vs. Face Del Rio would be a new spin on their earlier feud. Just Jericho vs. Del Rio would put on a good match. All of those options beats Swagger vs. Del Rio, in my opinion.

How so, I think Swagger is pretty good in the ring. Plus his gimmick works so perfectly against Del Rio.

I can see Swagger vs. Del Rio stinking up the place. Both are passable on there own, but they seem to me like a pair that just wouldn't click in the ring. And I think it would be weird to see the American getting booed, and the Mexican getting cheered in a Feud about Races. Guess it could be like JBL/Eddie and Angle/Eddie, but it still just seems a little odd to me.

I don't think the match will be that spectacular, and lacks the star power to be for the world title.
