But didn't one of the slightly larger networks only want to take TNA if they could pick them up in the summer? And seeing as how they need TV pretty much all throughout the year, with no house shows and PPVs, they had to go for Destination America and their promised extra show bullshit.

Extra show bullshit? What's the bullshit. TNA were not promised extra shows. They were promised the possibility of extra shows if they delivered well enough in the ratings and business game.

Could there have been more shows for TNA? Yes, but DA is not in the wrong for not putting out more of a product that did not deliver up to expectations.

I don't really know, it's been a while since I last read those things... but on Friday nights did TNA not consistantly pull out ratings of at least 500k a week? So that's some of the network's highest views on a bad TV night when they were starting out.

Those ratings tanked after about the first month. The reason they were moved to Wednesdays was to see if they pulled better ratings on a more traditional TV night. If you have a show that pulls well on a Friday you keep it on a Friday unless something else comes up.

DA is part of the Discovery network, and those people are not stupid, they get TV and how scheduling and such works. Look at ROH on DA. The 10/11pm airings are drawing solid number with small fluctuation in general, averaging between 180-200k. Whilst the 7/8pm airing differed a lot more, which is bad. So they moved ROH to only 10/11pm because it looks better for ROH to be a solidly drawing TV product, and it looks good for DA to have a program that draws solid numbers. TNA has for as long as I have been watching wrestling always had the problem of high fluctuation in their ratings. DA has tried all they can to make it work. They would be stupid not to try and make something they have invested money in work. I don't buy the TNAMecca style propaganda of them being completely heartless towards TNA. TNA got close to a year and DA

Just how many times have impact moved their programming? Like I feel they've tried everyday of the week and moved time slots dozens of times

On DA they've only done one move. But on Spike and maybe on Fox sports they got shipped around a bit. Which sadly isn't a good indicator. Most networks likes to find a stable spot for a show. Since when it airs is a big part in marketing it. Tune in at 9 on tuesday for this or that or whatever.

Geez, that sucks for them, Raw has always has the Monday night slot and Smackdown only moved like 4 times. If i'm correct TNA also had a moment where they had impact on the web because they flunked a tv deal?
