I am getting the real feeling that the Hardy vs. Hardy match and feud will bomb beyond our wildest i-magi-nations. Matt Hardy isn't that great in the ring anymore, isn't in the best shape, and really toned down the personality he used to have. Sure, it might seem like he is trying to become a new character, but it's not believable and I still see boring ass Matt Hardy. Jeff Hardy will pull the whole match with a random flip here or there, but Matt Hardy will destroy the match. Even if the match is halfway decent, it still will look like crap compared to the other matches. There is no possible way Matt vs. Jeff can steal the show at Mania.

The only argument that I might consider is they are so close they trust each other way more than anyone else so they might pull off some insane moves, but once again, it's Matt Hardy, so I doubt it.

I have this same feeling... And it scares me..

This match should be one of the best EASY on the card with the hype it had going into it and the chemistry they SHOULD have...

But I do get a feeling it will tank

Spoiled or not, how could the WWE pass up Christian for Matt Hardy? Do they know how much Matt Hardy's game sucks right now? Christian is 5 times better than him ring wise and would have had interest in the whole "Christian Returns" angle, sure brother vs. brother is great, but in this case it isn't. We have seen it before a number of times. I would have actually preferred Jeff in MITB.

Prejudices aside, I think this feud sucks. After watching the Smackdown promo, it felt like some lame soap opera. I mean, even more soap opera than usual WWE, even with a slight lean towards B-grade porno.

Neither can work the mic well, and they've put a lot of pressure on Matt to perform on the stick, which he can't do if he doesn't even have a definitive character
Watch Smackdown and you'll get what I mean

Matt sucks without a ladder or Edge involved, so I see this feud as no different.

Interesting thoughts all round.

This has the potential to be the surprise packet of Wrestlemania, and IMO match of the night.

Most importantly, it will have/has an epic storyline behind it that demands you watch the end result at Wrestlemania.

^^^ What's so epic about this feud? I been thought this feud was dumb. Jeff was head over heels wanting to get Edge cause he thought he was the one that was messing with him. He finds out it was Matt and all of a sudden, he doesn't want to fight him? That's bs. Matt beat the shit out of Jeff at the ppv and prevented him from being in the title match, he almost killed Jeff and his gf by running them off the road, almost killed Jeff again by screwing with his pyro, cost him his title to Edge, contantly costing him his matches, and as of now, cost him his shot at mania in MitB, and Jeff doesn't want to fight him cause he's his brother? That's fucking stupid.

After Matt did all of that, the only way it would make since for Jeff to actually want to fight Matt, would be for Matt to strap a bomb to Jeff and tell him either they fight or he pushes the little red button.

You know, this feud is really making Jeff Hardy take the bitch position.

He is the high extreme risk taker right off his first title run, then WWE turns him into a little bitch who "doesn't want to fight?" WTF is up with that?

I think that its should be a good match, but in a few moment the Hardy'z will be back ... well I think. Jeff Hardy will have a match for the WWE championship and probably Matt Hardy will come with a chair. The opponent will say «hit him» and Matt Hardy will hit the opponent of Jeff Hardy. Jeff will win the title and Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy (The Hardys) will reunit.

If WWE was smart, which they aren't, they would keep the Hardyz separated because if they reunited in the very near future it would make this storyline even stupider than it already is.

You're an awful troll.

Anyway, the match will probably be meh at best. They've wrestled a couple of times before and it was rather crappy, so I expect this to be much the same.

I think it's becuase he could have either played the reckless face or the honest face here, and the WWE chose the latter, which doesn't coincide with how his charachter has been recently developing.
