Is Davey Richards still out with injury? 'cause I remember Thatch saying he wants an EVOLVE title match with Davey.

Evolve is closing in on their 50th show. Let that sink in, 50th. And somehow it doesn't really feel that special. It doesn't sound like it'll be that big milestone show it should be.

It needs some serious oomph.

Davey Richards is too busy getting ready for Bound for Glory. He has a big tag title match against Myers/Lee.

The only ones that did feel special, imo, were 10 and 40.

I think it's kind of a new brainer that Tim is gonna win. Gabe built this guy up and pushed him to the moon, and to have him lose (again) to his best competition is pretty lame and counter-productive move.

Well, certainly. It'll still be great, though.

Riddle recently appeared on The Roman Show and says WWE got him the job with EVOLVE.

"I did a tryout with the WWE,” he said. “The tryout went extremely well, as well as it could. The WWE was nice enough to set me up with EVOLVE to wrestle with them. It’s a process. From what I see it’s on the right track. It’s not like the transition I had with the UFC."

Riddle also commented on his pro wrestling experience.

"When people see me wrestle, I am not too bad,” he said. “I know what I am doing and I’ve been wrestling pro wrestling my entire life. I’ve had about 40 matches in the ring in front of a crowd but I probably had a couple of thousand in the backyard, you know what I mean. I’ve been doing it for a while, just not at this level."

Again, never heard of the cat, but curious to see his debut in EVOLVE.

Yeah rumors of NXT and EVOLVE doing a working agreement have been thrown around all weekend.

Good for Gabe. Probably laughing at ROH now while throwing darts at a Delirious picture or something.

WWE really appreciates Gabe for producing some of their biggest stars. Either that or they just like that he's affiliated with Heyman.

These two matches are gonna be great at 49. I can't wait, honestly.

This is definitely just to screw with ROH and I guess test out some geeks before they sign them.

I honestly think WWE would do the same with ROH if they didn't have a national TV deal and a national PPV deal.

They did. Only without a deal on paper. ROH was mentioned a fair deal by WWE's web department before becoming a full blown national company.

This is to spite ROH and try to make indy guys not go there.
