Best Movie of the Year Discussion

I would have to say Cloverfield.

Oh yeah, this isn't a "Best Movie of the Past Century" thread. My bad.

I know. I've made a Cloverfield reference in this thread before. Shut up! >____>

I agree with Horrible Bosses. That's probably my Comedy of the Year. Did "Take Me Home Tonight" come out in 2011? If so, then that's a close 2nd.

30 Minutes Or Less was funny too.

I need to watch some of these films. I usually just watch whatever rented DVDs are in my house.

Oh yeah, 30 Minutes or Less. So unless I can think of others, that's my top 3 comedies of 2011.

1. Horrible Bosses
2. Take Me Home Tonight
3. 30 Minutes or Less

I highly recommend Take Me Home Tonight. Freakin' hilarious movie.

Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son was pretty amusing IMO and so was Paul. Bridesmaids was probably one of the funniest films of the year.

Hell yes Horrible Bosses! I absolutely loved that movie! Take Me Home Tonight was good too but not near the top for me. Topher Grace is awesome though.

Fuji Vice

Hall of Famer
Take Me Home Tonight was horrid...and I love the 80's. I couldn't believe how badly I wanted to turn it off.

I forgot about Super. That was one of my favorite movies of the year. I also liked Take Me Home Tonight. Horrible Bosses was okay there were a few funny parts. Bridesmaids was funny. Thought Hangover II was a huge let down.

However I did NOT turn it off, I watched the whole thing.

Still sucked, but I wanted to make sure you knew I sat through it.

I'm glad you sat through it but I gotta disagree, man. I fucking loved that movie. I don't know. I felt good watching it. I thought everyone did a great job making me laugh my ass off.
