second half of the feud has been much better than the setup, ill admit thatChris said:I actually think the feud has been fine but it's getting there where I'm questioning the overall point, hopefully resolved at Dynasty. Jay apparently couldn't go to Canada bc of his visa so thats why they just did the segments but maybe the Gunns shoulda been losing instead during that and Jay have a big return here
sigh lolChris said:Also I know I shouldn't expect Tony to unify any titles at this point but I was really thinking the two trios would and should be but now there's new ROH 6 man belts so
I’m thinking now it could be, but I do think a lot of this was AEW getting back at Punk for his interview.@Kross Rhodes I think after tonights episode, we can confirm the Jack Perry stuff is 100% an angle
I'm referring directly to the cry me a river and scapegoat lines from the Bucks. They traditionally always pull through when they tease this stuffI’m thinking now it could be, but I do think a lot of this was AEW getting back at Punk for his interview.
Not that I mind, for the record. I’m not a loser crying over jokes on tv.
this reaction to Jay getting a DQ on some corners of the internet is cringe. Do people not understand how feuds work? Jay broke into Billys house, and he's supposed to squash Billy too? Do people forget a feud ends at a ppv and its ok to keep both teams with heat?
This was my issue too. Of course Billy was gonna get his heat back. This is basic booking as was said, and the DQ makes sense too, but it went too long and it looked like Billy was killing Jay lmaoI overall didn't like the segment at all but I'm not stuck on the DQ lol I just would have liked it to happen sooner bc Jay just got his ass beat through two segments. Again not bc I feel that buried Jay, it just felt kinda boring lol
I have no doubt they might reach out now, but I don’t think they say that if not for the interview. Between those lines, Adam and Dax, it was very much a pro-AEW night following that interview. Again, none of that bothers me. Always speak up for your company.I'm referring directly to the cry me a river and scapegoat lines from the Bucks.
