I wasn't sold on this until tonight. What an incredible set up during the last segment. Orton looks like a legit psychopath. HHH looks like a fuckin madman. I really kinda marked out for the first time in many years over HHH tonight. I really think we're going to get that old bad ass HHH in this one. Night this watered down HHH we've been getting as of late.

I totally agree. I marked as well. I'm a huge Orton fan, and I actually wanted Triple H to kill Orton.

I love the badass HHH. The WWE has certainly missed that character. You are correct about the watered down version. The comical/sarcastic version of HHH doesn't fit the bill. Its almost as if he has been running on cruise control for the last year.

Orton played his role perfectly once again. And how about the way Stephanie sold that RKO? She took it better than just about 90% of the actual wrestlers on the roster.

WWE - HHH(c) vs. Randy Orton (I see Steph being in HHH's corner and at the end of the match HHH is down and Orton is about to hurt Steph when Shane comes out and helps Orton to win - we've seen bigger swerves in the past so it would not really shock)

HBK vs. Taker (come on - did you really doubt this one happening??)

Priceless vs. Cryme Time vs. Mizorrison vs. The Colons (unification match - winner gets both tag belts)

Jericho vs. ????? - it won't be Flair or Piper or Austin - so who do we really have left that could actually hold a match? best Raw in FOREVER - loved the ending - was thinking HHH's music would hit but this was so much better to have him jsut run out - sickest RKO ever taken by Steph - I marked out for real!!!!! This is gonna be epic - HHH actually crying and fuming (i could see the steam coming from his head, lol) was jsut awesome!!! Oh yeah - I still think Orton will win at Mani with Shane's help. You all know we can't have ALL the McMahons on the same page, same side - they have to feud with each other.

WM excitement, Part 2

A while back, someone, I forget who (Montana, maybe?), made a thread called "Wrestlemania excitement". Thsi was back in like, December or January though... It was to see if we were excited about WM yet, and if wwe was doing a good job getting their fans into it.
Well, clearly thatw as too early, because the RR hadn't even happened yet, so for the most part, not too many people were excited about 'Mania yet.
However, now that the RR and NWO have passed, and it looks like we could have

Taker vs HBK
HHH vs Orton
Edge vs Cena
Chris vs Swagger
Hardy vs Hardy
Jericho vs Rourke or Flair or Piper

How is your excitement about WM now?
Are you pumped and excited about what's going on leading to WM, or are you not feeling it this year?
I figured now would be a more appropriate time to ask the Q.

As for me, I can't wait. I actually love tuning in to Raw now, and can't wait for 'Mania.

I wanted to go to sleep, and wake up next week, just to see what happens next.
That was fucking sick.
I had a hunch he may come out, but not until Stephanie got on the phone. It was pretty awesome.
It puts a good twist on HHH vs Orton, and makes it seem newer, even though we've seen it before.
I'm really excited about it, and hopefully they both appear on Raw and SD for a while until Mania.
