John Cena brought back the colours of RAW :shifty:

Everything went good as expected, Miz and Morrison winning the Slammys was surprising though.

^^^Why would MnM2 winning be a suprise? ...They're by FAR the best tag team on the roster.

Who do you think should/expect to have won it then?

The best revenge Cena haters can get is to stop watching now. As long as all the people who are unhappy with the current product continue to watch, Cena will be champ. Thats why Cena is the top draw. People hate him enough to keep watching in hopes that he will lose.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not gonna start hating on Cena... I think he's pretty good n'all that, but it could simply be the case that they enjoy the rest of what's going on with Raw right now - Orton/Priceless, IC Tourney, Sanatino segments - and feel that Cena as champ is simply worth putting up with cos they don't wanna miss the rest of it.

No they're not, the creative department is just out of idea's.

Nobody should have won the award.

That's just plain dumb.

1. No matter how shitty you think the tag divisions are there will always be a "best" team.

2. I can see it now....

Vince, Steph or whoever: "And the award for best tag team goes to...... No-one. Our tag teams suck!"

They're Kayfaybe awards.

MnM2 held a tag title for the majority of the year... No other team came close to that.

This weeks Raw:

So-so... Thought the tag championship match was great. Shame I already knew the outcome. ME match itself was decent also. As already stated in another thread, I don't wanna see ANOTHER Kane sex-pest storyline (Serioulsy, I like Kane and all that, but please either build him up and give him some title shots or job him to the midcarders on the climb.).

Big up the Legacy tribute to The Bushwhackers!!!

I'm not going to like this Kane/Kelly Kelly storyline. We've seen Kane in this role before and yes he's good but do we need to see it again? Besides, it took up too much of the programming for me.

Tag match was excellent, I just love seeing anything Punk vs Morrison though.

Overall a very average RAW though, I hope it picks up again next week.

RAW sucked imo. The Kane thing seemed like it was the only thing going on in the show, I was happy when he fucked up Miz though. This could be alright again like it was last time but this goes to sho that they don't have much left for Kane. Tag match was great, one of the best matches on RAW in a while, good end to it. I don't know whats going on with Rey, getting his ass kicked by Knox so much, I also thought Snuka would be joining Priceless. Main Event wasn't to bad, they made "Legacy" look good. Orton pwned Batista at the end which made it worth it imo. Nothing special about this show but the next two weeks should be good with the World title Tournament being announced. The 4-way elimination match should be awesome in two weeks time.

Erm i'm not 2 sure on raw this week it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Santino was pure gold as always he rocks lmao. HBK n HHH crimbo promo was good and kinda took me by surprise. As did the HHH i would av helped segment as trips is on SD. There were some matches that were pretty solid. I kinda like the way HBK helped out JBL that was done good but i think if they want HBK to gather some heel heat then they are gonna have to work harder than that. I kinda see This HBK leading some were but as of right now it could be endless options. Personally IMO I'm hoping for HBK/Taker at Wm but that seems in jeopardy now. so IDK fingers cross it still happens.
All in all not a bad raw but not great.

someone held my "cuck fena" sign! trish getting cheered and cena getting booed was awesome.

oh, and am i the only one who knew trish was coming back for a night? cuz i remember reading here or on wwe.com that beth issued a challenge to trish or something and saying "will she respond?"...so they were kinda teasing it. i knew it was trish as soon as they said cena's gotta pick a diva.

one more thing, did kofi ever say he's half-african before the last raw? cuz it seems like he's trying to make up for his mom's phone call or whatever happened months ago.

The Canadian crowds are awesome, cheering the hell out of Jericho and booing Punk as well as booing Cena and cheering for Santino etc. They are great.

Anyways it was a pretty good show imo, they had some pretty good matches/segments. If it wasn't for me knowing that Batista was injured when watching it I would have been pissed of since he was meant to face Orton, Orton had a pretty good promo after that too. HBK made the show kind of interesting by helping JBL win and winning himself as well as is talk with HHH. Chris Jericho Vs CM Punk made RAW worth watching imo, great match and the crowd were into it as well as Jericho. I don't think Cena/Trish Vs Glamarella should have been in the Main Event but it doesn't change the fact that Trish was there and was awesome. This was a big improvement from last RAW which was good and next week in the Main Event there are 3 good heels so that'll be good!

A good improvement on last weeks lacking show thankfully. Got to love the Canadian crowds!

Jericho/Punk was a strong encounter and yes, the audience really made it, they were SO into it and that obviously made Punk & Y2J up the ante. Great stuff.

Talk about a year-ending yawnfest. Just reading the live blogging of Raw will prevent me from watching it tomorrow.

Shawn Michaels' short and sharp promo was probably the most interesting moment all night.

We had two scheduled matches - the Fatal Four-way which had many predictable outcomes considering both HBK and JBL were involved, and a bunch of Women's contenders in a battle royal.

The battle royal was a blink-and-you-missed-it event, and eliminating both MEs from the fourway to leave us with two upper mid-carders vying for the title shot at RR who were not going to legitimately compete for the chance as it was ... so bland.

Is Creative in a quagmire of what to do with John Cena? He's the Raw flagbearer and has competed in two gimmicky or pointless tag-team matches this past fortnight. Are they holding back on any decent storylines until ratings return or something? (It's Xmas/NYE week so I assume ratings have taken a break.)

Highlights of 2008 show, anyone?

What could Cena do this couple of weeks? His opponent wasn't determined already, so he wasnt in a feud to hype. There's no point on bashing about that.

I am not sure at you saying Y2J and Orton are upper than HBK on the card. You dont have to be getting title matches to be main eventing.

As for JBL main eventing against Cena, meh, it was predictable. Orton was not winning as it is obvious he will be challenging at Mania. Chris Jericho was the wild card, however I guess WWE prefered him cutting promos for the next couple of weeks about how he will make of 2009 his new marquee yeat by winning the Rumble and going to Mania.

Manu leaving Legacy was bad. Sim Snuka joining is even worse. I am pleading you, bring back Ted DiBiase before it's too late. he wasnt over enough, and fans more easy than not could have already forgotten about him.

At least the HBK vs JBK storyline took an interesting twist, and it showed that this storyline might produce some interesting swerves and moments, with HBK having to confront everyone for his actions in the name of JBL.

Cena vs JBL might be a good match, as long as WWE books it an all out brawl, and not have JBL go technical on Cena like on Judgment Day.
